About: My father raised and trained dogs so I have been caring for dogs since childhood. I have been personally caring for my own dogs as well as dogs of family and friends for the past seven years. I am medically trained for emergencies and can care for special needs and sick dogs. I will treat your pet with the love and kindness as I do my own. I can be available day and night, weekends and holidays even on short notice. I am hoping to make this a full-time position and will be available seven days a week 24 hours a day and can provide same-day service. I will follow all rules of the home in which I am sitting. I will never leave pets unattended. They will have my full attention and safety is my number one priority.

I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and extended care on both weekdays and weekends, and I prioritize being present and your dogs will rarely, if at all, be left alone. I’m located in a quiet part of the outer 9th ward. My neighbors are friendly dog lovers too. I provide a calm, structured, and attentive environment where your pet’s safety and comfort are the top priority. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and individual needs, and I adjust my approach to help each dog feel safe and understood. I’m experienced with crate use, positive reinforcement, and helping dogs settle in new environments. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and take care to avoid overwhelming situations, especially for more sensitive or anxious dogs. I know when to separate dogs and how to read body language before any accidents can transpire. In your home or mine, I maintain a clean, predictable space and ensure pets are supervised, exercised appropriately, and never left in situations where they could feel unsafe or stressed.

I have years of professional experience in the animal industry, including managing dog daycare and boarding facilities, as well as managing a veterinary molecular diagnostics company specializing in PCR testing for animals of every kind, literally A to Z, from anteaters to zebras! My background combines hands on pet care with animal health knowledge, allowing me to provide attentive, safety focused care for pets of all ages, breeds, personalities, and medical needs. I am also PACCC Certified, a Certified Professional Animal Care Provider, as well as Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. My home is designed to be a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment where dogs are treated like family. Guests are welcome throughout the home and can enjoy cozy dog beds, the couch, enrichment toys, tunnels, brush outs, a kiddie pool, a fully fenced yard, and plenty of photo updates during their stay. Dogs are welcome to sleep in bed with me if that’s what they’re used to, or they can be kenneled if that’s their normal routine. Because I have two friendly resident dogs, all boarding and daycare guests must be comfortable around dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and genders. Playgroups are carefully matched based on temperament, play style, size, and energy level. My home is generally best suited for low to medium energy dogs, and I especially love caring for senior pets and laid back personalities. High energy dogs are welcomed on a case by case basis. Safety is always my top priority, so I do have a few requirements before accepting bookings. • Dogs should be potty trained. I completely understand that occasional accidents happen, especially during transitions or with puppies learning routines. However, frequent accidents or ongoing indoor marking may not be the best fit for my home. • Puppies are welcome, but I ask that owners are completely transparent about their current potty training progress and care needs. • Please disclose any bite history, behavioral concerns, previous daycare dismissals, reactivity, resource guarding, destructive habits, separation anxiety, escaping crates, counter surfing, digging, chewing, or other behaviors that may affect their stay. • Dogs displaying normal stress behaviors such as growling, air snaps, baring teeth, or setting boundaries while uncomfortable are not automatically disqualified. However, true aggression toward people or other animals is not accepted. I maintain a zero tolerance policy for aggression within my home. Transparency allows me to safely manage personalities, prevent conflicts, and create the best experience for everyone. Please also let me know whether your dog is kennel trained, whether they need to be crated when left alone, and if they relax well in a kennel or become stressed while confined. Depending on each dog’s behavior and routine, many guests are able to enjoy supervised free roam privileges. Since Rover does not cover damage inside a sitter’s personal home, owners are responsible for any damages caused during a stay. Repair or replacement costs may apply, with a minimum charge of $100 if damage occurs. While my home environment is intentionally structured and carefully managed, I am also comfortable taking on more complex behavioral or medical cases within a client’s home. My care style focuses on structure, enrichment, positive guidance, manners, redirection, safety, and making every dog feel comfortable, confident, and at home. About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

I also have a 6 y/o daughter who absolutely adores animals. On weekends my daughter and I would love nothing more than a play buddy. We like taking walks outside and getting fresh air when needed. I cared for my own dog in her later years when she developed back leg problems. I helped her move around the house, made sure she was comfortable, and gave her lots of love and patience every day. About: I’ve grown to love the company of animals over people most days lol. I’m a doggy mom to a big Pitt/Hound 8 month old puppy named Cocoa & he’s about 75lbs already! I’m also a mom of 4 so I’m pretty good at multitasking. Im a chef & I also own a small cleaning business & have often times been entrusted with the tasks of pet sitting, feeding, walking & bathing of their fur babies while on jobs or just as help on days outside of cleaning jobs. I have healthy recipes for animal treats & love to watch them gobble them down once permission is granted by mom or dad of course. Animals tend to gravitate towards me & I absolutely adore the good feels I get from their pure energy & love. I would be more than happy to meet your new fur babies & take part in spoiling them a little. Im an entrepreneur so my schedule is pretty flexible outside of my kids… I usually only need a days notice of a needed appointment for smoothie sailing on both sides but I’m definitely open to being on call of sorts if ever needed in an emergency situation. I can make accommodations for pet sitting during the day or over night whenever needed but only in the clients home as my home as small kids present always. I have no issue with crating your fur babies if needed. I’m knowledgeable on how to harness a dog & I know how to restrain them if transportation is ever required. I’ll care for your pets just as I would my own, with love & kindness.

About: What’s sets me aside from other sitters is that I have had not only taken care of dogs and cats before, but I have also taken care of cows, pigs, turtles and many other animals aside from cats and dogs.
