About: I’ve been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember! Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, turtles, you name it, I’ve had at least one! I’ve worked as a professional dog walker when I lived in Boston, dog walked and house sat while living in Austin, and currently care for pets of neighbors, friends and family. About: I’ve been caring for pets for over a decade, including raising a German shepherd and co-parenting an Italian greyhound. As a current medical student on my research year, I don’t have the flexibility to own a pet full-time—but my love for animals hasn’t changed. About: I was the go-to pet sitter in my hometown! I have recently moved to NOLA, and I’m hoping to meet and care for some awesome animals. I have been pet sitting since I was 12 and I have had my own for my whole life. I’m currently working part time as a cashier and substituting at a day care. Due to this, most of my days are pretty free. On working days I’m able to stop by before and after my shifts. To care for a pet in the clients home, I make sure that the animal feels safe and comfortable while the owner is away. I like to let the pet stay in a spot it is comfortable in and just sit with them for a little bit to make sure they trust and feel safe with me. I also prioritize keeping the home nice and neat and looking as good as you left it ! I’m always down to cuddle a furry friend.

About: Growing up with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs, I have a wide array of pet care experience for animal friends large and small. Frequent dogwalker and pet-sitter with extensive knowledge of care practices. I am a remote worker and student in my day-to-day life, so I can frequently care for pets in my off-time in between classes and while working at home. About: When I was a child, I walked our dogs more that the rest of my family combined (a brother , sister, and parents). I had a coffee shop named after my Husky in Idaho (Cody's Cafe). To me, dogs play an extremely important role in our lives and I know how important your pet is; they are family. They also have their unique traits. My last dog was a very sweet pit bull mix that loved chasing squirrels and liked Cats. My current dog is a rescue Dane/Weimeraner Mix and is our world. He has been from Key West to the Alamo to Aspen and Taos and extremely sociable. I understand that every dog has its unique personality and I will learn as much as possible to make the experience a positive and rewarding one. Dogs need and demand attention and that reward works both ways. I am between jobs as my company suddenly closed with no notice so between jobs will be doing something I am passionate about, walking dogs. Pets safety is prime. When I walk dogs, they are my focus. If there are other dogs on the street, I am careful and understand that dog behavior can be unpredictable although I am very good at reading dog behavior. Some dogs may be fine 90% of the time, but that is too high an unknown to risk anyone's health. I want dogs to be comfortable on their walks but aware of dangers from cat poop to food that could jeapordize the dogs health.

About: I have had two rowdy dogs for ten years now. My family adopted them as puppies and have adapted our house to give them an indoor-outdoor living area. One of my dogs is very anxious and afraid of men, she finds comfort in me most, and with time I have helped her combat this anxiety with gentle and repetitive exposure to her fears. We rescued a kitten five years ago and integrated him into our house with the dogs. I walk my dogs every day and use good leash manners. I also take care of my friends' dog and cats when they're away on vacation, giving me experience with pets of varying personalities. I am currently at home for summer break. I have free time most days to take care of people's pets besides 2.5 weeks of a summer camp job and a short vacation. I respond and communicate my availability quickly and clearly to ensure that pet owners get the help that they need. I will follow the instructions provided to me that I agree to. On top of this, I will ensure that I stick to the pets' training and will do my best to prevent accidents caused by the pet.

About: I've had dogs my entire life. My last pup, Pooka, died a few years ago after living around the world with me for 16 happy years. So I'm an empty nester looking to love on your pets until I'm ready to get one of my own again. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities and even some special needs. I work from home in a sizable house on a flat topped mountain. I already take 1-2 walks during my workday to stretch my legs. Other than that, I'm a huge homebody. I’m currently living up on a mesa in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of room to run and chill. The space is not fenced so I can keep pups on leash, if needed.
