About: Foster dog mom and dog sitter. Recently lost my beagle and miss pup time. I treat my friend’s dogs like my own and they actually encouraged me to start a profile. I like walking and don’t mind slow sniffers. I’m aware of squirrels and cats in my neighborhood and avoid them when necessary. I work full time but have availability evenings and weekends. Looking forward to long walks, tails wagging while sniffing and again meeting daily step goals. I have a small backyard and shotgun house which I own. I can crate if necessary but if your fur baby is trustworthy, I’m happy to let him or her free range guard my house during the day. The window facing the street is typically pretty entertaining. About: When I was a child, I walked our dogs more that the rest of my family combined (a brother , sister, and parents). I had a coffee shop named after my Husky in Idaho (Cody's Cafe). To me, dogs play an extremely important role in our lives and I know how important your pet is; they are family. They also have their unique traits. My last dog was a very sweet pit bull mix that loved chasing squirrels and liked Cats. My current dog is a rescue Dane/Weimeraner Mix and is our world. He has been from Key West to the Alamo to Aspen and Taos and extremely sociable. I understand that every dog has its unique personality and I will learn as much as possible to make the experience a positive and rewarding one. Dogs need and demand attention and that reward works both ways. I am between jobs as my company suddenly closed with no notice so between jobs will be doing something I am passionate about, walking dogs. Pets safety is prime. When I walk dogs, they are my focus. If there are other dogs on the street, I am careful and understand that dog behavior can be unpredictable although I am very good at reading dog behavior. Some dogs may be fine 90% of the time, but that is too high an unknown to risk anyone's health. I want dogs to be comfortable on their walks but aware of dangers from cat poop to food that could jeapordize the dogs health.
About: I have had two rowdy dogs for ten years now. My family adopted them as puppies and have adapted our house to give them an indoor-outdoor living area. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds my whole life. As a teenager, I began taking care of dogs for folks in town that would go on vacation. Since then, I’ve often been the go-to guy for several friends and family that trusted me with their beloved pets. I’ve always found it natural to get along with dogs, even dogs that I was told didn’t generally take to strangers well. I’m more than happy to take care of all your dogsitting needs and hope to become your pup’s new best friend! I currently live a very pet friendly lifestyle. I can provide care during morning, afternoon, or evening hours. I can easily fit my schedule around the needs of your pets as I am frequently out in the neighborhood parks and on walks with friends both quad- and bi-pedal alike. I understand how different dogs can be in personality and energy, and can provide care accordingly. I'm just as comfortable lounging around the house as I am walking to the park or just wandering the neighborhood. I am sensitive to the needs of your pets and am always willing to assist in providing proper care when it comes to feeding for your pet or attending to their basic needs. If your pet has a specific diet or routine that needs to be attended to I am happy to give you my full effort to make them feel at home.

We understand that our younger pup has some issues getting along with others but he was able to keep the peace with all the pups and that's a bit of a feat because she can be ALOT. Our littles were happy to come home but looked just as they did when we left them, plump and happy! We will absolutely be using Jon again for our next vacation!!”

About: We are a small family with a super friendly lab-hound mix named Charlie. Charlie loves to play with other dogs and is generous with his space and toys. Our six-year-old daughter loves meeting new animals, too. Our home is fenced all around so the dogs have a circle run as well as the backyard and front porch to play and relax. We travel and have used Rover for our dog and we’re happy to be on the other side hosting and caring for your pet. I have volunteer experience with multiple animal shelters and experience caring for both healthy pets and animals with special needs. The other side of our double shotgun is currently unoccupied so we have additional space to separate dogs if need be.
