“My dog settles right in with Tami! It is so important to feel like your fur baby is getting the best of care in a boarding experience, and that is what you will get with Tami.”

“Michelle is an amazing and caring dog sitter. She worked with me as my dates changed which helped me a great deal. She's also well knowledgeable about dog's behavior. I will hire her again for my dog, Josie.”

“Amanda was amazing with my pup Lucy! She sent me daily pictures & made sure Lucy got plenty of love & snuggles. I came home to a happy, relaxed pup, & I’m so grateful for the wonderful care she provided. I’d trust Amanda with Lucy anytime!”

About: Hi there, my name is Kristen and I have a slight dog obsession. November 2025 started year five of me owning and operating a pet care company that is listed as an LLC in Ohio, and I have loved every single second of it! While on a walk your dog will be my sole focus. I will be sure to select a different route (if possible) during each walk to help them get familiar with their area, but to also help stimulate their brain with the different scents. If you have multiple dogs that need to be walked separately, for any reason, I will rotate my routes so that each dog is exploring a different area instead of where their fur sibling just was. I am happy to go as fast paced, or as leisurely as Fido wants to take our time together. My typical drop-in (play date) visit consists of the following: enter and greet your beloved furkid who will be totally excited to see me (hello treats!- only if it's okay with you first), and then take them outside to potty. While outside I am happy to play fetch, or any other activity they're interested in. Once we come back in I check the water/food situation, and am happy to take care of any medical needs that may be required at this time from giving pills to injections. There's time for a snuggle, or a game, and then it's one last potty break before I head out for the morning or afternoon. I send detailed Rover cards after every visit, and will include as many photos as possible. For boarding and daycare we are located on 30 acres in Tipp City, with 6 private fully fenced dog parks to choose from. We have 10 kennels, and pups are kenneled during enrichment and overnight with an on-site team member who stays with them. Disney Channel + YouTube classical music plays while pups rest in their kennels between private park playtime and playgroup. You can find out more information by looking at Blockheads and Bows Pet Services LLC online! Dog walking/pet sitting is my passion and full time career. Even while having a steady schedule I have the flexibility that allows me to get to your VIP quickly while maintaining a high level of quality care for all of the animals I care for. From how your pets eat their meals, to sleeping arrangements I try to keep things as normal as possible for them. During my time with your pet they have my undivided attention.
“Treven loved having other dogs to play with and Vanessa provided extra reassurance that things were going well throughout his stay. I hope he is able to stay with her and her family again.”

“First time using Rover and had a great experience. Ryan and his son took great care of Cerby and he came back home happy and playful as ever. Will definitely schedule with them again!”

“Carmen took wonderful care of my dog. This was the first time we needed to board our almost 2 year old dog, who has separation anxiety. Carmen’s knowledge of animal behavior was very helpful in this situation. My dog seemed to enjoy himself! Great experience!”

“Elya was by far the best dog sitter we’ve found on Rover. She was so intentional to spend time with our dog, taking her on walks and giving her a bath during her stay. It felt like we were dropping our dog off at a friends’ house rather than just a boarding place. Easily 5 stars!!!”

About: I have always loved all kinds of animals and will care for your fur babies just as well as I care for my own. I grew up with a toy poodle though I would have loved to have more pets. Currently, my husband and I have two small dogs but I love dogs and cats of all sizes. I have experience with caring for older dogs as well as very young puppies. I am familiar with pad training and kennel training as well. I would love to take care of your pets and am more than willing to accommodate their needs! I stay at home full time with my 6 month old. So, my time for your pets is very flexible. I am also able to bathe and/or groom your dogs if that is a service you would like. I have a bath price set but I’m open to conversations about that and other grooming services you would like to add. I do all the grooming for my dogs including haircuts, nail clipping, and deshedding. I have two very friendly dogs, but I do have enough space/baby gates to keep my dogs separate from yours if necessary. I have a fully fenced backyard and a very walkable neighborhood. So, your dogs will have plenty of opportunities for exercise. My dogs are kennel trained and sleep with us in bed, but I will respect whatever pet rules you have in your home.
“Ezgi is by far the best dog sitter we have ever had and the only person we trust to take care of our bernedoodle. We found out very last minute that we needed to go out town. Ezgi was able to help us and watch our dog. It is always a huge comfort knowing he is with her, because I know he is getting the best care and is having a ton of fun.”

“Friendly and easy to talk to, Angel is the best you can find around! She has a secure indoor facility for your fur baby so you can rest assured they’re safe and comfortable! 5 stars, highly recommend!”

“Jeanie worked out great! We had to switch our sitter for Linus last minute and am so happy she was available. Great communication and no issues. Seemed like she had a really great time with our pup! Would reccomend.”

“Once again and as always, Alyssa was great! My guy has developed some dominance/reactivity issues since his last stay, she was still perfectly willing to take him and confident in her handling. She sent me a video after his drop off to help eaise my concerns. Will definitely use her again!”

“Duke always has a great time with Emily! He is counting down the days to October this year when he sees Emily again! Emily takes such good care of Duke for us! I love the pictures and videos she shares letting us know he is having a wonderful time :)”

“Joe was nothing but 100% professional and made our first Rover.com experience a breeze! Even before officially booking with him he was extremely responsive, upfront, and helpful. He even gave tips on updating our profile. He was kind, sweet, and patient with our pups, and from the very first meeting I could tell he was very comfortable and understood dogs well. He sent photos and updates daily. We will definitely recommend Joe to anyone looking for a kind and reliable sitter for their fur babies, and we would love to use him again in the future if and when the need arises! Thank you Joe!”
“Vicki took great care of our Shih Tzu while we were on vacation. He is a rescue and can be nervous in new situations. She was as patient and loving with our dog and sent us frequent updates that eased our anxiety about leaving him behind.”

“We were planning our trip to Florida and decided we just couldn't leave Kaylee at a kennel. We had used Rover before but our previous sitter was unavailable. I searched the local area for someone else that could accommodate us. I came across Joanne and saw all her great reviews. I'm so glad we went with her. We took Kaylee over for a meet and greet with her 2 puppers and she got along great with them. We scheduled a time on the day we were leaving and met with her husband (who is super nice). Joanne sent us pics of Kaylee letting us know she was doing great. On the way home, we scheduled a time to pick Kaylee up. We're hoping our next trip Joanne is available to watch Kaylee again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Vandalia
Ashlee greeted our dog first at a “meet and greet” at a local park and our pup was calm and comfortable. During our trip, Ashlee updated us on how her first 24 hours went and how she enjoyed playing with the other dogs. On our way back, approaching the Dayton area, she was kind enough to give Pippa a bath. Ashley’s provided kind, observant care to our young dog while we saw family out of state and we couldn’t be more pleased.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
