Shannon has great instincts with dogs and approached her perfectly. She also did 2 trial drop in visits for us before the housesitting to ensure Mia had time to warm up to her. It clearly worked as Mia now loves her. She took excellent care of both Mia and our home. Looking forward to having Shannon sit for Mia more often in the future.”

“I trusted John to take care of my cat for two weeks while I was home for the holidays, and John did such an excellent job! He gave my cat plenty of freedom in their home, and maintained the routine that I had created for my cat excellently. He sent me pictures, and kept me in touch whenever I wanted to check in. When I picked my cat up, she was happy as could be, and now the two are friends for life! I would totally have John cat sit for me again, and I would feel confident in telling anyone who wanted someone to petsit to come to John.”

About: I've been helping take care of animals since I could walk, I've had dogs and cats since I was born, and over the years I've had fish, snakes, rats, mice, hedgehogs, chickens, rabbits, even insects. (And plenty of time spent on farms taking care of animals there) There's no animal I dislike, and as long as I have clear instructions there's about nothing I can't do. I have a very open schedule, my only obligations being regular doctor's appointments and my other job working for a local band where I'm occasionally away for either individual shows or tours. My main goal is to provide care as close to instruction as possible, but regardless I always try to be kind and compassionate towards animals, while they may lack the communication skills of a person, and ability to determine what's best for them, their physical and emotional well-being are still important and I refuse to neglect either

She handled feeding them (they eat a mix of wet and dry food that is measured out by scale) easily and our girls were all very happy and healthy when we got home. Amanda let us know when she would be out of the house, which was great, as our littlest gets anxiety when left home for too long. She cleaned up and even washed her sheets when she left!
