About: On my 12th birthday I got a kitten from my parents. I've had a cat most of my life. I enjoyed playing with her, cuddling, cleaning her litter, petting and she purred at me often. I fed her, played, and slept beside her. She lived for 17 years and got very sick and old that we had to put her down in August 2023. Fun fact- I used to take my cat swimming in a lake with my cousin's dog.

About: I have 2 dogs of my own and foster puppies and adult dogs as well. We also have chickens. I love animals of all types and understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust with their care. I am a Registered Nurse and caring for animals comes as natural to me as caring for people. Caring for your pets gives me the flexibility to spend time with them but also be available as a mom. My daughter loves animals and is very helpful and loving. I have a flexible work schedule and mostly work from home. I am able to interact while working and provide frequent potty breaks and extra attention as needed. I do feed separately to avoid food aggression issues which can sometimes happen in new environments. I have 2 dogs of my own and a fenced in yard. There is plenty of space to run and play and also lounge and nap! We’d love to know what your dog's typical routine is at home as well as any behaviors (food/toy aggression) or quirks we should be aware of. I will do my best to accommodate any special needs. Please let us know if they are on any medications or have any health issues. I DO NOT accept dogs that are aggressive, excessive barkers, non-house trained, destructive, or have severe separation anxiety. All dogs who stay in our home must be well socialized, healthy (i.e. not sick with any contagious diseases that could be passed onto humans or other dogs) and up to date on their vaccines and flea/tick preventatives. About: Since I was 13 years old, I've had 7 dogs in my life: a Golden, a Border Collie, a Bernice Mountain Dog, two mutts, a King Charles Cavalier and a Cockapoo. Each of these dogs lived an average of 14 amazing puppy, mid-life and senior joyful years. I learned as a child and then as an adult, that dogs abound with joy when given a consistent, kind, safe and loving environment. I adore dogs and the energy they bring. They teach us how to live life to the fullest and maybe even teach us how to love. My friends know this about me. They're always asking me to take care of their dogs. They call me the dog whisperer. They trust me. Your dog will be at home in my care. A walk every 2-3 hours, some play, a snack (if allowed), a good snooze and we'll do it all over again. As described below, your pet will be with me much of the day. I work from home on the computer and can take numerous breaks throughout the day to walk and play with your best friend. See below for our daily routine. Your dog and I will take a long walk the morning. If they're a ball chaser, there's a fenced in area at the local park where we'll spend some time running after balls. After the walk/run, we'll hang together as I work for a few hours on the computer. Mid-morning, we'll spend some time in my backyard on a leash making sure they get additional air and a pee. At noon, they'll get another walk around the block, have a mid-day snack (if allowed) and then while they nap, I'll work some more until quitting time when we'll go for another long walk or run. And of course what they care most about, breakfast, lunch or dinner will be served according to their routine. After the evening walk, we'll read or watch some TV while we relax on the couch. Bedtime is around 11 in which a quick backyard pee prior to bed. Depending on their preference, they can sleep on my bed or if they're crate trained and you or they would prefer that, they'll rest in the crate for the evening in my bedroom. And the next day, we'll do it all over again.

About: Dogs have been my whole heart for as long as I can remember. I loved my own dog for 15 and a half wonderful years, caring for him through every stage of life until we had to say goodbye last summer. About: My very friendly little dog and I would love to host your dog here with us, up to 40 pounds only though...Or if your pal would benefit from a playmate, we would love to come sit for you! Well first off, I've been trusted with the care of many precious pets for years now...And enjoy it very much...I am fun, caring, and engaging, as well as all ble's, reliable, dependable, and responsible! And I took a CPR pet course, and human one as well. I have had cats mostly all my life, and now own a small dog of my own, who as I stated earlier, could, or doesn't have to if need be, come with me, as some love to have a playmate for their pet...And I know my friendly little guy very much enjoys the visit. But with anyone coming to my home, my guy will be there too, and they must all be friendly, and then we have nothing but a good time. Which brings me to, I can watch any animal, esp in the animals home and of any size...It is my home that, as also mentioned above, I would only be able to take in a small or medium sized dog, cat, or caged pet. And my home, that I live in with just my little guy, is pretty open and spacious for dogs to move around, and I have fenced in my backyard just off the back door porch for even more run around fun. And now onto my prices, I had to do additions a certian way on here...As to plus a cat if I'm also coming to care for your dog...But I can always modify and give a discount if say you have many plus one cats in your home so it doesn't keep plus one'ing a fee...Or if you have wonderfully easy small dogs, I would not keep plus one'ing for those and would find a nice set fee, and especially if my little guy could also come enjoy them, or they could come spend the time with us...It's the large ones that can be more of a handful and take a bit more doing often times, that I have to have it set that way for. And I did just recently up my prices some as I've noticed that Rover charges per night and I am not loving that, I always on my own charge per day, so I up'd my prices some to reflect that. But have noticed that I am still under many, esp when it comes to multiple pets, and so that is good. So you can always send me a msg and we can discuss any and all options. I can often work staying elsewhere into my routine, even if many miles away...Pop ins as well can be worked in more easily than not...Esp when it's on the way to work or right near work...And my work schedule often varies and can be shifted if need be. I put a certain radius...But I have stayed in homes miles and miles away, out of state even, just ask if it's doable, it very well may be! But for pop ins and walks, I would prefer to travel within 10 miles or so from my home only. So I did just update this for a 45 miles out, but obviously I cannot be doing a pop in or daily walk so far away. I care for pets in my home or their home the same way I care for my pet in his home...With the added, well, additions that your pet may need. My home is often more foolproof safe...Such as I have an indoor fenced area around my front door...And I do sometimes bring something similar with me to others homes...I prefer to be (overly) safe than sorry.

About: I have watched many family members and family friends pets. I have experience in watching multiple dogs and also staying overnights. I have worked in a vet clinic at my technical Highschool I was previously in for about 2 years. I also worked at the vet clinic over the summer as well. A previous job I have had required for me to watch 8 Standard poodles. I currently do not have a job so I have plenty of time during the week and weekend to help any owner in need of pet sitting. I am unable to care for pets at my home but I am able to stay at a clients house whether it’s just for the day or a week. Overnights are a simple task for me and I’m more than happy to do it.

About: I have been a true pet lover my entire life. Now I raise two daughters who feel the same way. There has never been an animal we did not love. I have been the one all of my friends and family always rely on to help walk, feed, bathe, and take care of their pets. I have a lot of energy so love being active and going on walks and hikes and running around with a dog. I am happy to have an animal cuddled onto my lap and do not even mind being licked all over my face! I treat every pet as if it was my own. I trained two dogs from 8 weeks old, on so understand what it takes. I have had a cats my entire life and I love kitties as well! I am comfortable with big and small animals. My children are the biggest animal lovers I know and both want to be vets when they grow up. We would treat your pet like it was our own with more love than you can imagine! My girls and I are around most of the summer, as I work in a school. We are very active so we would love to be out and about walking and taking care of your dog or taking care of your cats! If I were to come to your home and take care of your pet or walk your dog, I would be very comfortable letting myself in and approaching any time of animal. I would give them all the love in the world an any care or exercise they need!
About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 15, when I became responsible for my first dog. At 20, I started offering dog boarding in my home in Brazil, hosting over 10 dogs with love and dedication. Currently, I live in the United States in a small apartment with my husband, where pets are not allowed. For this reason, I provide pet care exclusively at the client’s home. I discovered Rover as a way to reconnect with the joy of being around dogs and cats, whether for a weekend or an entire month. This experience has been amazing! My husband and I care for the pets together, ensuring they receive twice the love, attention, and playtime. I work flexible hours so I definitely can stay long hours in home and provide a lot of attention for dogs and cats. I love walk and play before I need to leave them alone for a few hours. I do not host at home. We follow all the rules of the clients' homes and the animals' routines. We try our best to exercise the dogs by walking or spending time in the yard.
