“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.

About: I currently have a 1 year old English mastiff who is 170 pounds and he is the best boy! He has to walk 2-3 miles everyday, so your pup will be definitely walked until they don’t want to move! I also had a rescue dog who was a Rottweiler mix who was very reactive. He was reactive towards other dogs and people, but luckily I was able to learn from him. I currently work full time during the week, and have to walk my mastiff 2-3 miles after work so he sleeps at night, but the weekends I am able to come walk with your dogs. I do not plan on bringing your dog to my house, but any instruction you need me to follow I will once I am in your home.

About: My cat Moose has been very attached to me since he was a kitten, and I was in 6th grade! He follows me around everywhere and has difficulty with change which leads to some health problems here and there. Applying and administering medicine to him happens often. I have also been cat sitting my sibling's cat for about 5 years and babysat with multiple cats in the house too. I love watching over and caring for all kinds of cats and kittens.

I love animals of all types and understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust with their care. I am a Registered Nurse and caring for animals comes as natural to me as caring for people. Caring for your pets gives me the flexibility to spend time with them but also be available as a mom. My daughter loves animals and is very helpful and loving. I have a flexible work schedule and mostly work from home. There is plenty of space to run and play and also lounge and nap! About: I have had cats and dogs for over 6 years (with many more years of hamster experience) and my husband was raised with many pets since he was 3 years old (cats, dogs, chicken and even birds). We like being surrounded by fur babies! We have three kitties and one Golden Doodle that is eager to have fun with your dog (he is very gentle despite his large size). Both my husband and I work remotely so at least one of us will be at the house at all times. We will be able to take care of your pet’s needs! We have a fenced yard (with night lights!) with ample space for dogs to run and do their business. We have a fully-furnished basement where guests doggies can spend as much private time as they want, sleep on the bean bag, or look at the window to the outside! We have crates that are large and medium in case they are needed.

I have the patience to raise kittens and puppies of my own as well as watching over other's kittens too. I work part time and would love to spend more of my free time with animals of all kinds. I have four pets of mine at home and have daily chores for upkeep and dedicate quality time with them every day. I have adventurous dogs who love to find a way to escape the yard and understand the importance of keeping a close eye on them constantly. In other pet's houses, keeping them calm, happy, and well fed is key.
About: Since 2016, I’d eagerly come home each day looking forward to taking my dog, Teddy, on long walks outside. That passion led me to create my own dog treat business, driven by my desire to share that love and care with other dogs. It is so rewarding knowing I can contribute to the happiness and health of dogs one walk at a time. I am currently very free during the hot summer months while taking care of my dog, Teddy. I have a lot of extra free time for any last minute walks! My home is a very calm environment with no kids and one other dog. There is a lot of space outside and many friendly dogs in the neighborhood. I am very attentive to whatever it is the dog may need, (walks, play-time, or love!) as well as being educated on dog behavior.

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.
