“Lele is always so nice to send us updates on our kitty boys. They are very “stranger danger” and rarely come out when she arrives for her visit but it gives me peace of mind to know that someone is checking on them.”

“Jailah was incredible! She helped me when I made several errors making my first booking. She sent great pics and was great with the dogs! Definitely will book again:).”

“Sage claimed he didn’t have any experience with cats but he took care of Sophie without a hitch. He is courteous, punctual and dependable and provided all the care and nurturing she needed. His report cards showed a contented cat, and he was considerate in keeping our home neat. We will gladly ask Sage to come care for Sophie in the future.”

“Devin did a great job caring for Ramah. You can tell how much he loves dogs from the first introductory visit. He knows how to put them at ease. And he isn’t intimidated by big powerful dogs like my Akita. He is reliable and a great communicator. Devin also takes the best pictures of our dogs! He should be a professional pet photographer!”

“Deana was great. She sent tons of pictures and my cat seemed to warm up to her very quickly. She gave a detailed report on everything my little buddy was up to. Shes a lifesaver!”

About: Hello! I have been a pet owner, caretaker, and lover for the majority of my life, but really began my professional career as a Pet Sitter when I left home for college and didn't have any furry friends in my dorm room. I've worked with every type of dog, fromteacup Pomeranians all the way up to Great Pyrenees and I've never met a dog I didn't love. I have experience administering medications, helping dogs with handicaps, behavioral issues, and everything in between. I love to have an excuse to get outdoors and go on adventures, so I bet your fur baby will even miss you while you're away! I am happy to do overnights in your home or to host your pet at my place, where I have 2 dogs of my own who LOVE to have sleepovers with new friends. Let me know what I can help you with! I work a 9-5, but have a hybrid model, so I can work remotely while I watch your pets if needed! My schedule is very flexible and I can meet most requests, especially Wednesday - Sunday. I will always take care of your pet and your home like it is my own, if not even better! I always follow the golden rule and leave things better than I found them if possible.

“We always love Keyona and this time we hired her to take our dog Lucy for three weeks while we were away. She was so flexible and accommodating, and she's the only one we'd trust to take our fur baby for that long. She acted very responsibly when she noticed Lucy was itchy. We always miss Lucy while we're away but Keyona sends pictures and let's us know how she's doing. It was so clear how much our dog loves Keyona when I picked her up and she didn't want to leave. We highly recommend Keyona!!”

“We highly recommend Caitlin. She took care of our cat Dexter for 4 days over Thanksgiving. She provided detailed reports, adorable photos, and videos. Although we always worry about our little guy, Caitlin put us at ease. When we got back, Dexter seemed so happy and well-cared for. A true gem of a sitter.”

“He has watched my puppy twice now and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. He goes above and beyond what is requested to ensure that everything goes smoothly. He was very communicative and I look forward to continue booking with him in the future.”

“She gave great updates and pictures of both my cat and dog. You could tell she really enjoyed being with them and they loved having her come and play. I will be recommending her to all my friends and use her again!”

“Chloe was wonderful! She was quick to respond to messages, arrived on time, was so caring and sweet to our puppy, and respectful of our space! I would absolutely recommend her and would book again without any hesitation! Thank you Chloe for keeping our pup company and giving her lots of love!”

About: I've spent my whole life around animals—especially dogs, cats, bunnies, and hamsters. Whether it's a playful puppy or a senior cat, I’ve cared for them with love and attention. Being with animals comes naturally to me, and I treat every pet like part of the family. I work at a business in the French quarter and my schedule is flexible. I can take a long lunch in order to check on pets. I follow all instructions and act as if I'm being watched by the owner in the moment. I was a residential housecleaner for over a decade and appreciated supervision.

About: I have always had pets in my home, with lovely experiences. Volunteered at 3 kennels for animals In need. I able to care for animals very well. I have open availability for the most part and do not mind working the weekends. Have lots of time to walk my new friends around. I would love to come to your home for sitting. I will walk the animals in parks and around New Orleans. Would be interested in home sitting once I get to know the animal.

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: I have taken care of many pets in New York and am now available in New Orleans for dog walks and dog/cat drop ins! Very excited to explore with your pet. I am self-employed so have a decent amount of flexibility in my schedule but have my own cat so not able to board / long stays. It's important to make the animals comfortable which takes time and calm -- but I like to follow routines and give pets (if able) lots of exercise.

“Veronica is wonderful! She was so caring and reliable. She went above and beyond my expectations. I knew my kitties were well taken care of and I would definitely hire her again!”

Shelby R.
“Shelby took such excellent, loving care of my pets while I was out of town. I have an 80lb reactive dog who has a LOT of energy and strength, and it was obvious that this was not the first challenging dog she’s worked with and handled with ease. I’m not a person who feels like I need any photos while I’m out of town but Shelby sent them anyway, which was such a happy surprise each time. My pets were all happy upon my return, which meant a lot to me, as I’ve seen my cat stressed in the past under a different caretaker. I feel at such ease knowing I now have Shelby to trust with my babies :)”

Chloe C.

Michelle G.
“Michelle has been my go to dog sitter for years. She is dependable and really cares about my pets. She spends quality time with them and gives them the same attention I would. My dogs both had medications and she followed there medical regiment to a T. I wouldn’t event think of having anyone else watch my two dogs. I should note, that my boys are a handful. 2 large pitbulls, big needy babies demanding a lot of attention. And also not the most well behaved but she handled them without any problem. 10 out of 10! Highly recommend!”

Cindy O.Star Sitter
“Cindy has dog sitter for my wife and I many times over the last 5 years. Duration has been between a quick visit to feed and let outside to coming over multiple times a day for a week when we were out of town. Cindy is great with animals and our late Luna (dog) really loved her. I would definitely recommend Cindy to take care of your pet(s) while you’re away. Either in a pinch or a scheduled trip, she has always been reliable and extremely pet friendly.”

Rachel S.
“Rachel Shuey is a wonderful, warm person. She loves animals and is a responsible, reliable, and dedicated caregiver. She has cared for my pet many times -- and the dog loves going back to spend time with her. She takes him to the park, long walks, she makes the dog's experience a fun vacation!
