About: I'm an avid thru-hiker who completed the 2,192-mile Appalachian Trail, and a lifelong dog lover. I'm active every day with hiking, walking, and yoga, so your dog will never be under-exercised. I currently feed and care for six semi-feral backyard cats, so I'm comfortable with animals of all temperaments. Reliable, patient, and happy to follow your pet's routine exactly. I've also hiked Spain's Camino del Norte and run a small hiking YouTube channel (Dundee Hikes). I am retired, my days are flexible and built around staying active — morning yoga, daily walks or hikes, and plenty of time at home. Pet care fits naturally into that: I'm around most of the day for walks, playtime, feeding, and company, and I can adapt to your pet's existing routine. I will take clear and concise notes and follow your pet's routine exactly. I will care for them like they are my own and be respectful of your property.

About: I’ve had a strong bond with animals since I was young. I grew up with cats and dogs but dont have any pets right now. I walk dogs at the shelter and would love to meet and help care for animals who need the love and attention. I have a somewhat inconsistent schedule with lots of flexibility. I can work remotely from different locations and am able to take breaks throughout the day to love on your pets! I cannot have animals in my home but I can easily tend to them in their usual environment. I am happy to follow any instructions on kenneling, walks, food, play, and routine and will follow your animal's lead if needed.

About: Growing up, I had 5 dogs, 2 cats, a couple parakeets, and a bunch of chickens. I started dog walking and sitting in 2014, just helping out my friends and neighbors. Since then, I’ve taken care of dozens of animals, from dogs and cats to lizards and birds. About: I currently work as an animal protection officer for the City of Albuquerque animal welfare department. I'm can handle energetic pets with high physical activity needs. I have 2+years experience as a shelter volunteer and 1 year experience as doggy daycare attendant. I have worked with dogs and cats various breeds, ages, temperaments and sizes. I've handled various behavioral problems, health problems, and even special needs (visual impairment, hearing impartment, trauma, missing or damaged limbs.) I can do minor medical work, bottle feed, and have experience with cats and dogs from early puppyhood to end of life. About: Personally trained and cared for 30+ dogs. Proud owner of a German Shepherd named Blitzen and I've cared for multiple pets at the same time over the years. I firmly believe exercise is necessary for happy owners and pets alike. Leadership never turns off. I live off a simple and disciplined schedule. I'm almost always up before 05:00 with the exception of weekends and the first things I do as part of my morning routine is let the dogs out, meditate, and then take my dog Blitzen for a run. I have a large backyard that is enclosed by walls. Every pup I house I exercise, as it's important for their mental health (and mine), and it helps them acclimate to a new environment. I've trained multiple dogs and I'm adapted to recognizing and preventing unwanted fights and scenarios of that nature. I care for all pets in the same manner and typically follow leadership strategies recommended by Cesar Milan & Don Sullivan such as implementing rules, boundaries, and limitations as well as showing affection at the appropriate time so as not to encourage nervous and aggressive energy. Dogs have been a large part of my well-being and happiness and I understand that they have specific needs as well. Leadership to me entails leading my own life and practicing personal integrity. Every pup I've met or trained offers new opportunities for patience and learning and I'm happy to accept that challenge.
