About: I have had dogs for many years and loved them all. Whippets and rescues, poodles, and mixed breeds have all found love in my home. I have cared for dogs of others, both in my home and as a house sitter. (I will housesit for cats but cannot have them in my home due to family member allergy). I have cared for puppies and all ages, including senior dogs. Medication, feeding, walks, playing, loving...all can be done. I am retired from working as an art therapist. We have a young pup at home who loves other dogs. I am home throughout the day and will work with needed schedules. When I am out on errands, etc, my pup currently is free to roam the house. We have a fenced yard, a dog door, and easy care home. I will work with whatever requirements are needed to make sure your fur baby is safe and sound.
About: I have been around animals my entire life. Dogs and cats mostly, with this I am aware of how much love and care goes into taking care of our little fur babies. I have had 5 cats and 4 dogs in my entire 24 years of life. I am not scared to play with them if they want, I will give unconditional love to your fur babies like they are my own. I am not a licensed trainer or anything of those sorts, but I am compassionate for animals, and they will be in good hands with me. I am currently able to play with your babies whenever you need and they need! I am currently going to school to become a teacher and also working part-time. So, whenever you need me, I will communicate with you! My two cats are fed daily, given water, freedom to run around and play in my apartment. I love them unconditionally and they are always my top priority. I will do the same for your furbabies.
“James has been awesome with foster George (AKA Houdini) who has been on the euthanasia list 3 times. . . and his next time will be his last. George is the sweetest dog ever but his escapism has been problematic. James has been his life saver while I am at work, and has provided George playmates and activity throughout the day. James is DEFINITELY worth considering if you need care for your dog. . . (Just don't steal George's spot. . . We need James.)”
“When I had Adam & Indy watch my dogs for the second time, my dogs and Indy were so happy to see eachother again like they missed eachother and one of my dogs even jumped on the couch to sit next to Adam to say hi. “Charles was extremely professional and responsible and he took EXCELLENT care of my lab, Tamale, with the help of his dog, Shiso. He sent regular pictures of their walks, the dogs playing together in the yard together, cuddling for naps, and having meals and snacks- it was obvious she was in good hands. Tamale had a wonderful time, was thoroughly exhausted and most importantly, she was VERY well cared for. I felt so fortunate to find such a warm, wonderful home in my neighborhood with a kind human and his family to look after my girl while I worked and my husband was out of town. Lilah had so much fun with Aijah, her husband, and her adorable dogs. She got to play and go for walks while I was at work, and I loved getting pictures of them playing. I felt very safe leaving Lilah at Aijah’s house and when I picked Lilah up she was calm and happy and smelled good :)
Spencer was AWESOME. My 17 mo golden had so much fun with him and the other doggos; he was exhausted in the evenings (which was the goal). I was in town working during the day, and it was so nice to be able to have him with me in the evenings, knowing he had adventure during the day! Spencer was communicative, excited to see Ollie, welcoming…all the things you hope for when looking for a sitter. Definitely will book again when in ABQ!
Wendy was great. She was really good with Farley even when he was nervous about staying at her house and took extra steps to make sure he ate. She sent updates and photos which is always nice. She was also patient and flexible with our schedule changes. I would definitely book with Wendy again.
