“I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! They love going to Elaine's house! Our next booking is during the Christmas-New Year's Eve time frame, and my dogs are already so excited, and Elaine has let me know that so is she, and she's gearing her doggies up for a week-long visit :-) My neighbors/friends that used to keep them all the time are moving back to NJ, so this is exactly what I needed at this time in my life. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs at Elaine's, whether it's for a day or a week! This is the best thing EVER!!!!”

She was very responsive and took the time to meet me and my pup beforehand, which made me feel comfortable right away. My pup was tired from the day and all the activities, but she handled her with both care and confidence. She quickly became part of the pack, played with the other dogs, and came back happily exhausted. She also sent photos and text updates, which I really appreciated. I especially liked how attentive she was with my pup’s prescribed medication. It gave me real peace of mind knowing she was safe, cared for, and having a great time while I was away. We left her with him 3 different days while visiting Maine and we could tell that she had a great time and enjoyed her stay with Spencer and Buster! About: I have had dogs for many years and loved them all. Whippets and rescues, poodles, and mixed breeds have all found love in my home. I have cared for dogs of others, both in my home and as a house sitter. (I will housesit for cats but cannot have them in my home due to family member allergy). I have cared for puppies and all ages, including senior dogs. Medication, feeding, walks, playing, loving...all can be done. I am retired from working as an art therapist. We have a young pup at home who loves other dogs. I am home throughout the day and will work with needed schedules. When I am out on errands, etc, my pup currently is free to roam the house. We have a fenced yard, a dog door, and easy care home. I will work with whatever requirements are needed to make sure your fur baby is safe and sound.
