“Christina is a very thoughtful sitter! She has a great set up. Extra dog crates, a gate before the door so no one runs out, covered couch she lets the dogs up on, and a good little yard. My dog had a blast playing with her and other dog she was watching. We were delayed in our travels and she was very flexible! Told me not to rush and sent a ton of pictures letting me know Lyra was having a good time. She even let me book last minute with a quick meet and greet the night before. Thanks Christina!”

“Charles was extremely professional and responsible and he took EXCELLENT care of my lab, Tamale, with the help of his dog, Shiso. He sent regular pictures of their walks, the dogs playing together in the yard together, cuddling for naps, and having meals and snacks- it was obvious she was in good hands. Tamale had a wonderful time, was thoroughly exhausted and most importantly, she was VERY well cared for. I felt so fortunate to find such a warm, wonderful home in my neighborhood with a kind human and his family to look after my girl while I worked and my husband was out of town. About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

“I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! They love going to Elaine's house! Our next booking is during the Christmas-New Year's Eve time frame, and my dogs are already so excited, and Elaine has let me know that so is she, and she's gearing her doggies up for a week-long visit :-) My neighbors/friends that used to keep them all the time are moving back to NJ, so this is exactly what I needed at this time in my life. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs at Elaine's, whether it's for a day or a week! This is the best thing EVER!!!!”

She was very responsive and took the time to meet me and my pup beforehand, which made me feel comfortable right away. My pup was tired from the day and all the activities, but she handled her with both care and confidence. She quickly became part of the pack, played with the other dogs, and came back happily exhausted. She also sent photos and text updates, which I really appreciated. I especially liked how attentive she was with my pup’s prescribed medication. It gave me real peace of mind knowing she was safe, cared for, and having a great time while I was away.
