About: I have had dogs for many years and loved them all. Whippets and rescues, poodles, and mixed breeds have all found love in my home. I have cared for dogs of others, both in my home and as a house sitter. (I will housesit for cats but cannot have them in my home due to family member allergy). I have cared for puppies and all ages, including senior dogs. Medication, feeding, walks, playing, loving...all can be done. I am retired from working as an art therapist. We have a young pup at home who loves other dogs. I am home throughout the day and will work with needed schedules. When I am out on errands, etc, my pup currently is free to roam the house. We have a fenced yard, a dog door, and easy care home. I will work with whatever requirements are needed to make sure your fur baby is safe and sound.

To give you the peace of mind your fur baby is both physically and mentally stimulated during our time together. I am very active, love going on hikes and finding new parks in the area! I am in the end of my surgical residency making my schedule relatively flexible. While I am unable to have a dog of my own full time, I can care and love for others in the mean time! While I do live in an apartment, there is a park with walking trails right across the street that I walk daily. Staying active is an essential part of my life!

She asked a lot of questions about his behavior, his personality, his normal day, etc. She was very concerned about making our dog feel like he was as much at home as possible. Peso seemed very happy when we went to pick him up. We would definitively recommend Melinda for dog sitting. She was quick to respond to messages, and she sent us a picture of Peso. We would use Melinda again if we are visiting Albuquerque in the future.”

“I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs at Elaine's, whether it's for a day or a week! This is the best thing EVER!!!!”

About: I have been around animals my entire life. Dogs and cats mostly, with this I am aware of how much love and care goes into taking care of our little fur babies. I have had 5 cats and 4 dogs in my entire 24 years of life. I am not scared to play with them if they want, I will give unconditional love to your fur babies like they are my own. I am not a licensed trainer or anything of those sorts, but I am compassionate for animals, and they will be in good hands with me.
