“I thought Maellen was terrific. A few days before our cruise, Lili, our corgi had to be fitted with "the cone of shame" for a skin condition. I contacted Maellen to see if this would create a problem and offered to find another sitter but Maellen said it would be fine. She treated the skin condition twice a day took excellent care of Lili for the 7 day cruise. Lili obviously had a great time and was in excellent condition. She did not seem to be in a big hurry to leave so I know she liked it. THANK YOU, MAELLEN.”

She also has a very secure setup at her home, so, even though our dog has tried to make a run for it in the past due to his high prey drive, we didn't worry about that one bit when he was with Rosalia!”

About: I've been caring for all kinds of pets, from dogs and cats to reptiles and Macaws. I've also volunteered at bird reacues and animal shelters in both New Mexico and Iowa. About: I’ve dog sat for most of my life, I have a love for all dogs and deeply believe dogs are family and should be treated and cared for as such I currently work full time on the weekends so I am usually off on weekdays and would love some company cuddling on the couch or walks I have a fenced yard and almost a half acre to run around. She was very responsive and took the time to meet me and my pup beforehand, which made me feel comfortable right away. My pup was tired from the day and all the activities, but she handled her with both care and confidence. She quickly became part of the pack, played with the other dogs, and came back happily exhausted. She also sent photos and text updates, which I really appreciated. “Charles was extremely professional and responsible and he took EXCELLENT care of my lab, Tamale, with the help of his dog, Shiso. He sent regular pictures of their walks, the dogs playing together in the yard together, cuddling for naps, and having meals and snacks- it was obvious she was in good hands. Tamale had a wonderful time, was thoroughly exhausted and most importantly, she was VERY well cared for. I felt so fortunate to find such a warm, wonderful home in my neighborhood with a kind human and his family to look after my girl while I worked and my husband was out of town. About: I have been around animals my entire life. Dogs and cats mostly, with this I am aware of how much love and care goes into taking care of our little fur babies. I have had 5 cats and 4 dogs in my entire 24 years of life. I am not scared to play with them if they want, I will give unconditional love to your fur babies like they are my own. I am not a licensed trainer or anything of those sorts, but I am compassionate for animals, and they will be in good hands with me. I am currently able to play with your babies whenever you need and they need! I am currently going to school to become a teacher and also working part-time. So, whenever you need me, I will communicate with you! My two cats are fed daily, given water, freedom to run around and play in my apartment. I have cared for dogs of others, both in my home and as a house sitter. (I will housesit for cats but cannot have them in my home due to family member allergy). I have cared for puppies and all ages, including senior dogs. Medication, feeding, walks, playing, loving...all can be done. I am retired from working as an art therapist. About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, from Yorkies to German Shepherds. Providing the love and care to other dogs while you’re away is my priority! To give you the peace of mind your fur baby is both physically and mentally stimulated during our time together. I am very active, love going on hikes and finding new parks in the area! I am in the end of my surgical residency making my schedule relatively flexible. While I am unable to have a dog of my own full time, I can care and love for others in the mean time! While I do live in an apartment, there is a park with walking trails right across the street that I walk daily. Staying active is an essential part of my life!

About: I lost my sixteen-year-old fur baby in October, 2018 and find myself missing that special energy only pets can bring. I have been caring for various pets for my friends and family for about 20 years and have done drop ins and overnight visits. I do have a full-time 8-5:30, Monday-Friday (and many Saturdays) job however, and am not available to provide constant care for pets. I do have more than enough time to devote myself to the love and care of your fur baby. In my home, in my life, dogs and cats are family and deserve the same love, care, and respect that human beings deserve. Perhaps more. While I have more experience with dogs I haven’t met a cat I couldn’t win over. Rest assured that if you place the care of your beloved pets in my hands they will be well loved while you are out of town. Your home will be cared for as well. I do have a “regular” 8 am to 5 pm job. My evenings and nights are free. Weekends are also more flexible for me when it comes to spending quality time with your baby. I am not able to provide constant care. I live in an apartment complex so I am more than happy to visit your fur baby in their own environment. About: I’ve dog sat for most of my life, I have a love for all dogs and deeply believe dogs are family and should be treated and cared for as such I currently work full time on the weekends so I am usually off on weekdays and would love some company cuddling on the couch or walks I have a fenced yard and almost a half acre to run around. I have two beagles and a little yorkie that will keep your pup company.
