About: I have had dogs for many years and loved them all. Whippets and rescues, poodles, and mixed breeds have all found love in my home. I have cared for dogs of others, both in my home and as a house sitter. (I will housesit for cats but cannot have them in my home due to family member allergy). I have cared for puppies and all ages, including senior dogs. Medication, feeding, walks, playing, loving...all can be done. I am retired from working as an art therapist. We have a young pup at home who loves other dogs. I am home throughout the day and will work with needed schedules. When I am out on errands, etc, my pup currently is free to roam the house. We have a fenced yard, a dog door, and easy care home. I will work with whatever requirements are needed to make sure your fur baby is safe and sound.

We left her with him 3 different days while visiting Maine and we could tell that she had a great time and enjoyed her stay with Spencer and Buster! “I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! My dog had a blast playing with her and other dog she was watching. We were delayed in our travels and she was very flexible! Lilah had so much fun with Aijah, her husband, and her adorable dogs. She got to play and go for walks while I was at work, and I loved getting pictures of them playing. I felt very safe leaving Lilah at Aijah’s house and when I picked Lilah up she was calm and happy and smelled good :)
Spencer was AWESOME. My 17 mo golden had so much fun with him and the other doggos; he was exhausted in the evenings (which was the goal). I was in town working during the day, and it was so nice to be able to have him with me in the evenings, knowing he had adventure during the day! Spencer was communicative, excited to see Ollie, welcoming…all the things you hope for when looking for a sitter. Definitely will book again when in ABQ!
Wendy was great. She was really good with Farley even when he was nervous about staying at her house and took extra steps to make sure he ate. She sent updates and photos which is always nice. She was also patient and flexible with our schedule changes. I would definitely book with Wendy again.
