About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

I will always send daily photos and/or videos of how your babies are adjusting to their stay. Our household is me, my fiance, our son and our three dogs. All of which will care for your babies just as much. I love that Rover allows us to provide personable stays to allow 1x1 tailored time with your pet that eases a lot of stress for everyone. I own an at home dog grooming kit which includes a dog vacuum that combs them while taking out the excess fur. Let me know if you need any deshedding services! My availability is totally available everyday! I work from home so I’m here on call for sure! If you are in need of drop-in visits, my fiance does come along for meet and greets and occasional visits as well. In both my home and my client's homes, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment for pets. This includes maintaining a consistent feeding and exercise schedule tailored to each pets needs. I ensure plenty of playtime and mental stimulation through interactive toys and games. Additionally, I maintain cleanliness by regularly cleaning feeding areas, litter boxes, and any pet messes promptly. Above all, I provide affectionate companionship and attentive care to make sure pets feel secure and loved while their owners are away.

I work remotely, so when I’m not traveling for work, I’m home and available throughout the day to provide consistent, personalized care. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and one-on-one attention. I’m very active and happy to keep up with dogs who enjoy walks and play, but I’m equally content spending time with pups who prefer a slower pace, backyard lounging, or snuggles on the couch. I can easily adapt my routine to match your dog’s normal schedule so their time away from home feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I have a secure yard with a separate fenced dog run, giving pups a safe space for outdoor time, play, and fresh air. Inside, my home is relaxed and pet-friendly and dogs are welcome on the couch and furniture and are treated like part of the household. I also have two small rescue dogs of my own. I understand that not every dog wants or needs to socialize, so I can keep pets comfortably separated when needed or allow supervised introductions and playtime for dogs who enjoy making new friends. I’m happy to provide a comfortable crate or create a separate, personalized space based on your dog’s routine and preferences. I always recommend bringing a favorite bed, blanket, or other familiar item from home to help your pup settle in and feel secure while you’re away. My goal is to follow your dog’s normal routines as closely as possible and provide an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

About: From birth I have been surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, chickens, goats, and many creatures in between. My dad trained dogs and horses (no such thing as cat training…. If you know, you know) and taught me all he knows. I have fostered and trained puppies and currently have 2 cats of my own who are great with dogs. I am a travel nurse and don’t think the long shifts would be fair to have a dog of my own, otherwise I would! I had to remove all of my bengal’s teeth after an emergency and had to fight a newly adopted bengal to give him his antibiotics and pain meds in forms of pills and drops. I have lived through many animals’s passing from old age so am well versed in senior cares as well. Through my career and life experiences no emergency is too big for me. Your pets activity level will become mine- young or old hearted I am here to hang! I got cats so I could go away for weekends and still hire folks on Rover to come give them love on trips they can’t come cause I feel too bad otherwise. Pets are our babies and alike to humans all have their own personalities. I am super excited to get to know yours and thank you for trusting me with your family members :) I work 12 hour night shifts from 7pm-7am 3 days a week, but my partner works from home so there is always someone to give them love. Off days are spent in the mountains on trails or relaxing around the house. I have a large backyard and 2 cats who are missing a dog to play with or rooms they can safely relax in if your furry friend is not other-pet friendly. I come home to go on a walk and wake up in time to drink some coffee and enjoy some hours before work. I have a high fenced yard. I like to keep the routine the same as their normal, so will rely on your directions on when to feed, exercise, and wind down if there are any specifics. Multiple walks a day during the cooler hours is my favorite way to exercise, and if your pup is social enjoy a good social outing to the local dog park. I like to fish up in the mountains so picnics and splashes in some mountain water is always a dog approved activity in my experience

“Christina is a very thoughtful sitter! She has a great set up. Extra dog crates, a gate before the door so no one runs out, covered couch she lets the dogs up on, and a good little yard. My dog had a blast playing with her and other dog she was watching. We were delayed in our travels and she was very flexible! Told me not to rush and sent a ton of pictures letting me know Lyra was having a good time. She even let me book last minute with a quick meet and greet the night before. Thanks Christina!”

“I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! They love going to Elaine's house! Our next booking is during the Christmas-New Year's Eve time frame, and my dogs are already so excited, and Elaine has let me know that so is she, and she's gearing her doggies up for a week-long visit :-) My neighbors/friends that used to keep them all the time are moving back to NJ, so this is exactly what I needed at this time in my life. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs at Elaine's, whether it's for a day or a week! This is the best thing EVER!!!!”
