I live in a home with a fenced in yard where dogs can play! I have one dog named Olive, and she is the best with fosters we bring into our home. She will take the lead of other dogs and can play for hours, or just hangout calmly and give space to nervous dogs. I believe in crate training and find it very useful for multi dog households, but if your dog isn’t crate trained we can figure something out! Mental and physical stimulation is one of the most important things for dogs, so I incorporate walks, brain games, and structure whenever necessary! I believe that each dog is unique, so I like to follow their lead in terms of what they require to be fulfilled!

Information Devta K. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any specific needs around diet or exercise! If your dog has any reactivity, or is fearful, or has any behavior quirks, please let me know ahead of time so I can accommodate accordingly to give them the best experience.
A typical day
I like to see what works for each specific dog as far as daily schedule. What I have had a lot of success with is waking up, going in the yard, then feeding if the dog eats twice a day, followed by a 45min -1hr long walk to sniff and use their brain. After walking I usually like to have them practice being calm for a few hours. Around midday we go in the yard again for a bit. Our evening routine either consists of a 35-45 mins walk, a scent game and/or puzzle toy, or training with treats! We end the night with dinner and some chill cuddle time before bed. All this being said, I am willing to do what works for your dog and can always add in walks/potty breaks as needed.

Pet care experience
I have many years of caring for all types of dogs. I have worked with puppies, seniors, reactive/fearful dogs, and working/high energy breeds. I am always up for learning and researching new techniques and skills when it comes to dogs. I have fostered dogs through my local animal shelter for many years which has given me a lot of experience with rescues. I’ve fostered nursing litters, young puppies, and adult dogs with great success! I am always excited to meet new dogs and learn their personalities and quirks so that I can care for them in a way that works best for the dog!
Reviews

Devta is excellent with both dogs and humans! I am from out of town and my dog has stayed with Devta for day care on two occasions. She is flexible, responsible and kind. Highly recommended.

Georgie girl has a lot of anxiety and was very nervous about having to go to day care. Devta payed extra attention to Georgie and watched her cues. She wi take very good care of your fur baby.

I had a great first experience boarding my dog, Ellie, with Devta for a 6-day span of time. From the first meet-up in introducing Ellie to Devta and Olive, Devta was able to create strong space for me to ask any questions that I had. She was communicative and was interested in learning about Ellie and her nuances, commands and tricks, schedule and routine, etc. During the stay, Devta sent consistent pics and updates on how Ellie was doing and was attentive to her behavior and vibe, how she was adjusting, how she was interacting with other dogs, etc.. When I ran into issues with my travel/flights, Devta was flexible and was able and willing to watch Ellie for another evening which was greatly appreciated. Ellie's transition home was incredibly smooth after her almost week-long stay, which was a tell-tale sign she did really well with Devta. Would very much recommend for boarding!

Our 9-month old, rescue loved Ava immediately! You could tell from their initial interactions that Ava knew what she was doing, had excellent feedback and knowledge about raising shelter dogs. We felt extremely comfortable leaving our pup in her capable hands. Ava sent us pics and updates throughout her first day of Daycare and when we picked her up, Nova was happy, well-behaved and tired 🐕
