“Great communication and experience! Alondra took the time to do meet and greet and took great care of my husky while I was away”

About: I'm a nature lover and natural animal lover—especially doggies. Over the years, I’ve loved and cared for my my own pets: dogs, a rabbit and a cat. Currently, I help care for my aging mom’s little senior Shitzu: weekly walks at a nearby parks, vet care and lite grooming. Comfortable with harness attaching and removal. My own beloved dog passed away a couple of years ago, I still enjoy encounters with other dogs on my daily walks, giving ear rubs and back scratches—dogs just bring me joy. Currently, I’m retired, so my availability is flexible for you and your pet’s needs. I have experience caring for various breeds and size (small to medium size dogs), but I can handle larger senior dogs. I routinely walk at various designated parks and trails in the East Bay. When I pet-sit in my apartment, I inquire about pets regular routine first: walking, feeding, and medication (if necessary). I require they provide their pet’s own: bedding, sleepwear, food and treats and up to date vaccines. I also ask for emergency info: Vet, pet-owner (s), and an alternate contact. Finally, I will send regular updates via text, pictures or videos of your pets outings or stays—live if you like!

“Oliver looked so happy after his walk! Immediately took a nap on the couch. Thank you!!!!”

“Kaiya is an excellent communicator! Kaiya is responsible and I really appreciate the photos she sends of the walks. Rilo looks like she is having a great time.”

About: I've grown up owning dogs my whole life, and I own my own dog as well. I honestly think it's impossible to be sad when a dog is in your life, and it is our responsibility to take care of them as best as we can. I would love to spend time and take care of your dog in the event you cannot. They should't have to feel so alone when we are busy! My puppy is very social, kind, and loves to play with other dogs. She is spayed so there is no worry there. I promise to take the best care of your dog, as if it was my own. I am also a strong believer in training dogs and keeping them on their own routine. I am very respectful of the rules or standards that each owner has for their dog, and plan on carrying those out exactly as you ask. I have a very flexible schedule currently and can accommodate many different times. Feel free to reach out and we can find a common time that works for you, your pet and me! Safety and trust are the most important aspect of caring for other animals. They are not just our pets but members of our family and I always keep that in mind. I will send photos and always be transparent about how your dog is doing.

About: With 10+ years of animal care experience — including 4 years as a veterinary assistant — I’m especially experienced with seniors, anxious or shy pets, and those needing medications or extra TLC. I’m reliable, calm under pressure, and treat every pet like my own. Providing care for pets fits naturally into my lifestyle — my schedule is intentionally flexible so I can be available when your pets need me most. Whether you need help during long workdays, weekend trips, or last-minute schedule changes, I’m happy to accommodate a wide range of needs. Let me know what your pet’s routine looks like — I’ll do my best to match it, so they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. Within the client's home, I do everything I can to make their pets feel safe, seen, and loved. I know how important it is to maintain their routine and environment, especially for pets who thrive on familiarity. I take time to build trust, go at their pace, and make sure they feel comfortable with me in their space. I always follow instructions carefully, provide updates along the way, and make sure your pet is happy, secure, and well cared for while you’re away. For the health and safety of your pet, I kindly ask that clients provide their own grooming tools — including brushes, combs, nail clippers, styptic powder, and any other essentials your pet is familiar with. Using your pet’s personal tools helps prevent the spread of bacteria, and ensures a safe, and hygienic experience. Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are always my top priorities.

Ladonna S.
“Ladonna would be an excellent caregiver. She adores animals; and they are drawn to her; and why wouldn't they? Animals are believed to be instinctual beings, and they know a kind and generous person. I have never known her to mistreat any animal; I have only known her as a lover of animals. I know she would excel at this position.”

Mia A.
“Mia has a gift for working with animals. She started having pets at a young age with fish, mice, hamsters and birds, taking joy in interacting with them, feeding them, always being the first one to notice any health concerns. As she grew older she went to zoo camp, to SCPA camp, and she graduated to counselor sharing her love of animals with other children. Over the last few years she has regularly walked her many dogs, cleaned up after them, made sure they received needed vet care and nursed them back to health after surgery or illness. When younger, she would walk her two Chihuahua mixes, and helped care for them as they aged, became less mobile, and needed extra attention and medications. As a young adult, she raised one puppy Pit Bull from 6 weeks (now 5 years old), and adopted a mistreated Pit/Lab mix, who is now her best friend and companion. She is excellent at ensuring their routines are followed and spending quality time with them. She uses treats wisely, and has trained her dogs to follow her lead, sit and wait when commanded. She ensures regular vet care and gives medications, applies lotions and other vet-prescribed care with kindness. As she has started dog walking and care professionally, she has been a reliable, trusted caregiver. She has demonstrated her capacity with all types of dogs and her understanding that dogs not only need food, water and walking or play, but also interaction, reassurance, and love. I admire her ease with and love for animals, and am glad she can share her gift with other pet owners.”

Kelly W.

“Kelly is a dream of a pet sitter. I have an 11 year old rescue that has her quirks and Kelly is so sweet and so good with her. She’s sat for me about 10 times so far and not only do I not have to worry at all about my pup, Kelly treats my home with the same care. I feel like my house looks better than when I left! Kelly is trustworthy, a good problem solver, detail oriented and most of all she gives my dog so much love while I’m gone. I’ll continue to hire her as long as she’s available!”

“Liz is truly the best dog sitter and walker we could ask for! My two small dogs, Rio and Rosie, absolutely adore her. She has stayed with them many times over the years, and it’s such a relief knowing they’re in such loving and capable hands. Liz is always punctual, reliable, and goes above and beyond — sending updates and pictures so I know how happy and well cared for they are. She’s incredibly patient and kind, and even my shy little Rosie warmed up to her right away. When Liz stays with them, the house is always left spotless and the dogs are calm, happy, and clearly loved. We trust her completely and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and truly wonderful pet sitter. — Rebecca P.”

Alicia L.
“Alicia is seriously the best dog mom ever. She has two dogs right now—Groot (a sweet Boxer) and Posty (her new, energetic little Dachshund puppy)—and they are totally spoiled in all the right ways. Before them, she had Breezy, her rescue dog, who passed in 2024 after 11 amazing years. Alicia was there for Breezy through every surgery, hospital trip, and rough day, right until the end. If someone needed a trustworthy, loving, and super responsible person to watch their dogs, Alicia would be my top pick. She just gets dogs and loves them like they’re family—because to her, they are.”
