“Kelly is wonderful! We have a 10 month old 15 pound cavapoo named Daisy who we had to leave for two weeks. We were very nervous about it! Kelly was amazing--so responsible, caring, and reassuring. She clearly loves the work of caring for pets and is very good at it. She sent photos and videos twice a day and responded promptly to all of our communications. Daisy is nervous around other dogs but Kelly made her feel comfortable. Daisy even made some friends! When we came to pick Daisy up, she didn't want Kelly to leave her and whined as Kelly walked away. Kelly's now a part of Daisy's pack! We will definitely have Daisy stay with Kelly again when we have to travel.”

About: I grew up with 6 pit bulls, taking sun baths with them in my backyard. I’ve volunteered in SF SPCA and donate monthly. About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. I do not have any pets. I would love to get a dog, but I travel to Vancouver 4 times a year to visit my mom in long term care and occasionally I have to travel for a week or more for work and I don't want to leave a pet for that long. My partner goes to the office Monday - Friday.

About: I had a dog for 15 years and while we are holding out on getting a new one for a few years till we stop traveling so much, we would love to hang with yours periodically when in town! We have a fenced in yard to throw a ball in (and a six and nine year old who never tire in doing so) and love taking walks to all the local Piedmont parks with a pup. My husband is mildly allergic, so unfortunately only able to take in non shedding, hypoallergenic poodle type mixes. And of course dogs need to be kid friendly, but my kiddoes are very sweet and gentle with dogs and will give the dogs lots of pets and affection in return. I absolutely love caring for animals and will treat your pets like my own. I love spending days walking around Lake Merritt and I live very close to a park that I take my own dog to so your pups will definitely be well exercised here! I live in a beautiful apartment complex that is pet friendly and also live on the first floor so that makes emergency potty breaks super easy breezy. Normally, I would do a morning and afternoon walk, with potty breaks peppered whenever they need. I can also step away from my work at a moment's notice if anything arises, from entertaining a bored doggie to foiling attempted counter surfing! I have a paved yard for sunbathing and potty breaks, the door to which I work right next to. I live near Lake Merritt, the Morcom Rose Garden, and a dog park, so I can provide walks of all lengths. My home is very cozy and has multiple spaces where an animal can detox from any overstimulation. I can provide a dog crate, scheduled meals, supervision, and play.

The TLDR here is: if you're looking for the best person in the area to not just care for your pup, but someone who will show them love, tons of care, and treat them as one of her own, look no further. We were on a 2.5-week far-away vacation and had initially booked another sitter. On day one of our trip, we received a message from the original sitter's sibling that the sitter had to go to the ER for something serious and we needed to find someone else to watch Lola. After searching on Rover, we discovered Asha. From initial conversations to figuring out the logistics of getting Lola to Asha, all the way to getting updates while far away and Asha coordinating with Lola's pack walk group, we felt assured and in no need to stress. When we returned and picked up Lola, we could see the love and care that Asha provided. We were lucky to find Asha and will definitely use her services in the future! About: I had a dog for 15 years and a cat for 2 years, giving me experience with pets at all stages of life. They are very special and I have a deep passion for caretaking, one that extends to your pets! I can also administer medications if needed. I am a student at UCSF on summer break. I have availability most days—weekdays and weekends, just need a few days notice! I am also a night owl so I can watch your pets well into the evenings! I have a fenced backyard and live in a dog-friendly neighborhood. I love going on long walks around here solo, and a pet companion would make that even better!
