As Novelette & I discussed this week, I will not need daycare on August 10, 13, 24,27, and 31, or September 3. This is a combination of her and my vacation weeks and will be a rare exception to our regular Monday & Thursday schedule. Thank you for your attention, and here is my review: "Bruce loves visiting Novelette and is making a great adjustment there. She is very warm, nurturing, and responsive to his needs. We could not be happier with how things are going so far. Thank you!"”

“Our dogs are still puppies — not fully potty trained and definitely very energetic — so caring for them can be challenging, especially in a new environment. Rover was really our last chance to attend an important family event, and we are incredibly grateful to Darline and Richard for taking on this not-so-easy task with such kindness and patience. Charlie and Ellie were very well cared for and came home happy and safe. We truly appreciated the updates, care, and understanding they received. About: We're a husband-and-wife team who spent nearly 20 years with four beloved adopted pets, all with their own quirks, personalities and needs. In another life, Laura worked in veterinary hospitals and emergency care with plans of becoming a veterinarian. Life ultimately took her in another direction, but the love of animals stuck – and our own pets taught us plenty, too. Especially Winston. He came to us after a really tough start, fearful and reactive to just about everything. One of us works from home, and the other is home frequently, so your dog will have lots of company throughout the day and rarely be left alone. Our schedules are flexible, making it easy to accommodate your dog's usual meals, medications, bathroom breaks, walks and bedtime routine. We know how much pets rely on the little rhythms they're used to at home... We have no resident pets and welcome dogs from just one household at a time, so your dog(s) won't be sharing our home with unfamiliar animals. This can be especially great for dogs who are anxious, selective with other dogs, accustomed to being the only pet, or just simply more comfortable in a quieter environment. We both come from long careers in biotech, where safety and attention to detail are second nature. We bring that same mindset to caring for your dog – from medications and feeding instructions to gates, walks, weather, household hazards and the little things unique to your pet. Every new dog starts with a meet-and-greet so we can all get comfortable with one another before you travel. We want to understand what makes your dog feel safe, comfortable and at home – and we'll never push them into activities or situations that aren't right for them.

About: Since I was a child I have had pets in my life. I am an animal lover of all types. I have cared for fish, hamsters, gerbals, cats, dogs, even reptiles. I have helped family and friends with there pets, and have a good sense of how to undertand whatvthey need. I can bath, groom, give haircuts, and feed them if and when needed. I am willing to open my home to assist families in need. I do have a full.time job, but also have family who are all wonderful and willing to help where it is needed. “This was my first time booking with Vassu. Vassu was wonderful with my dog, Maddie. Maddie enjoyed her large fenced in yard, including discovering her dog door. About: I’m a CTRS and I have trained my dogs one of which is a a therapy dog that at times I will take to work. I normally do at least 15 minutes of training with my pups! I’m off Sunday Monday and Tuesday fully, and my partner is off Saturday. My day starts off walking my dogs then letting them outside to play. Your dog would be apart of that. I have a fenced backyard and a bunch of toys. The day starts off going for a walk around the block then I let the dogs run outside in the back. After that they come inside to relax and eat breakfast. I let them play in the house and sometimes chill out with their bone always supervised. 😊

About: I have loved and cared for dogs and cats my entire life, and I’m especially drawn to shy, timid, or nervous pets who may need extra patience. I have a calm, non-intimidating approach and enjoy earning an animal’s trust through kindness, affection, and consistency. I’m comfortable walking, bathing, brushing and grooming pets, and animals in my care are treated like family and welcome throughout my home. I’m also very comfortable with senior pets and understand that they may need a slower pace, extra attention, and lots of reassurance. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals is something I truly enjoy. I love spending time with them, whether we’re walking, playing, relaxing together, or just keeping each other company. I’m happy to give each pet the time and attention they need and will follow their normal routine as closely as possible.
