Doggy Day Care in Pine Point, Springfield, MA

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs for 30 years. I got my first pet 40 years ago. I have experience as a vet assistant at Banfield Animal Hospital for 7 years. I work full time in Amherst and I am available for walks before and after work and boarding on the weekends. I can board during the week if your pets schedule allows. I have a fenced in backyard and an indoor cat. I have an indoor space for indoor pets and my home is open to fur babies with amenities for cats and dogs.

I was in need of a sitter for my dog Ary and was not sure if I was going to be able to find one in such short notice (less than 24 hours) I came across Kathy’s sitting services and reached out to her to see if she was available. She responded within minutes and although it was in such short notice, she did not hesitate to help me (total lifesaver). Kathy was phenomenal in keeping me updated throughout the day with photos and messages as well as replying within minutes after messaging her. My dog entered her home without hesitation and had a great time. I have a hard time trusting others with Ary, especially when it comes to leaving her in a total strangers house. However, as soon as I saw Kathy I knew she was in good hands and safe. If you are someone like me that have trust issues when it comes to my fury baby, please rest assure that they will be well taken care of by Kathy. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole entire life and two years ago I experienced what it’s like to be a cat owner, but in those years, I’ve learned a lot about both! It’s important to care and love for these pure beings, and do good for others. I can perform anything that a client wants whether it’s grooming, walking, or simply just regular care. I’m currently a stay at home mom so I have open availability and I like to take walks so it kind of works with everything! I believe in having a big amount of space no matter the size of the pet and a great amount of playtime. Also, I believe and being on schedule with potty time, and just being a good human being to that pure animal! Everything will depend on the client request!

He’s very careful and loves petting dogs , Daniel once told me “if I can pet a dog for the rest of my life without stopping I would”, he’s also told me that he hopes to have a dog sitting business, which I told him I’ll be right by his side helping him in any way I can.”

His genuine love for animals was absolutely evident in the exceptional care he provided for my cats (who can be nervous with strangers). He was reliable and good with communication, keeping me updated the entire time I was gone with notes and pictures and videos. I never felt like he was hurrying through his visits, and he went above and beyond with their care. I wouldn't hesitate to entrust my pets to him again.”
