As Novelette & I discussed this week, I will not need daycare on August 10, 13, 24,27, and 31, or September 3. This is a combination of her and my vacation weeks and will be a rare exception to our regular Monday & Thursday schedule. Thank you for your attention, and here is my review: "Bruce loves visiting Novelette and is making a great adjustment there. She is very warm, nurturing, and responsive to his needs. Rover was really our last chance to attend an important family event, and we are incredibly grateful to Darline and Richard for taking on this not-so-easy task with such kindness and patience. In another life, Laura worked in veterinary hospitals and emergency care with plans of becoming a veterinarian. Life ultimately took her in another direction, but the love of animals stuck – and our own pets taught us plenty, too. Especially Winston. He came to us after a really tough start, fearful and reactive to just about everything. We have no resident pets and welcome dogs from just one household at a time, so your dog(s) won't be sharing our home with unfamiliar animals. This can be especially great for dogs who are anxious, selective with other dogs, accustomed to being the only pet, or just simply more comfortable in a quieter environment. We both come from long careers in biotech, where safety and attention to detail are second nature. We bring that same mindset to caring for your dog – from medications and feeding instructions to gates, walks, weather, household hazards and the little things unique to your pet. Every new dog starts with a meet-and-greet so we can all get comfortable with one another before you travel. We want to understand what makes your dog feel safe, comfortable and at home – and we'll never push them into activities or situations that aren't right for them.

About: Since I was a child I have had pets in my life. I am an animal lover of all types. I have cared for fish, hamsters, gerbals, cats, dogs, even reptiles. I have helped family and friends with there pets, and have a good sense of how to undertand whatvthey need. I can bath, groom, give haircuts, and feed them if and when needed. I am willing to open my home to assist families in need. I do have a full.time job, but also have family who are all wonderful and willing to help where it is needed. I am the main care taker, I make sure to work my schedule around the best interest of the pet I am caring for. Your pet will never truly be alone. I have a fenced in yard, I have a friendly chihuahua and a playful, lovable cat. I have a separate and clean space in my basement if needed giving plenty of room to run and play with plenty of toys for pets. Let me not forget my fun and loving family which includes my husband two teenage kids and my self.

I can he as active as you want me to be, including hiking, going to parks, anywhere you like! I can also stay at home if your dog has low energy or special needs. Pets are welcome throughout my home and are treated like part of the family. I especially enjoy caring for shy, timid, or nervous pets who may need extra patience. I have a calm, non-intimidating approach and give them the time and space they need to feel safe and learn to trust me. I’m comfortable walking dogs and helping with bathing and basic grooming, and I always follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, exercise, medications, routines, and house rules. I do have a fenced yard and would never leave them alone.
