Dog Walking Sixteen Acres

About: I have done both walking and house sitting for five years, and have worked with and am comfortable handling both large and small dogs. I grew up owning dogs, including a shitzu mix, a poodle mix, and a shelter girl of unknown exact breed but some sort of terrier mix (mom was a JRT). While all but one of the dogs I have owned were under 20 pounds, most of my history in pet sitting has been with has been with dogs in the 30-70 pound range, including labs, huskies, and a pit bull mix as my most frequent clients. I have experience with owning a fear reactive dog, but my comfort with taking care of them will be on a case by case basis. I also have experience with training young dogs for crating, potty training, and leash training I am currently exclusively self employed and have a flexible schedule with my income sources, so I am available most days and times of the week At this time I am only able to provide care in my clients home, I am unable to provide boarding due to limited space in my house I will work with owners to maintain your pets normal schedule, including feeding and walks. I am comfortable crating and using alternate feeders or feeding styles as needed Dogs will never be outside unattended, and will be kept on leash or in fenced in yards unless the owner specifically requests that I do otherwise. Cats will not be taken outside for any reason unless requested by owners. All animals will receive a significant amount of play and/or pet time during each visit, assuming the animal is comfortable with and enjoying it For drop ins, I will provide at least one update per visit including pictures. For continuous house sitting, as my standard I will provide at least three updates per day (morning, mid day, and afternoon/evening) with at least one photo per update. If you would like more or less updates, just let me know and I am fully willing to work with you to get you the amount of contact desired

About: I have been around animals my whole life. I believe its important to treat them well and with respect. I know how important it is for pets to be cared for while we're away Im available most mornings and evenings. I am currently available during the day as well. I take my own dog for walks every morning and evening as well. I can come and provide the animals food, fresh water and play with them if they are in the mood for that. In the case of dogs I'm happy to let them outside or go on a walk with them. I can play with them and make sure they are exercised.

About: I worked in a dog daycare facility and have provided many services. I have experience feeding , giving medication, bathing and trimming nails. I have loved dogs all my life but have never had the chance to own one so I do my best to provide quality care and love to any dog I see. I am going to be doing some schooling so I will balance school work with my rover work as well as I can by leaving some days closed off so I can focus on my schoolwork. To start I am only going to be doing walks and drop ins to get used to how the river life works but will probably eventually provide all services.

About: Although I have less experience in dog care in comparison to taking care of cats, I live an active lifestyle and am fully capable of going on walks with any dog’s typical walk regime. As a student who’s home for the summer, I have a flexible schedule I dedicate to spending time with my or any of my friends’ pets. I care for pets by referring to the owners and following any procedures based on the pet’s needs. I’m capable of basic maintenance and problem solving.

About: Feeding, entertaining, and walking pets. Friends and family have trusted me in caring for their pets like my own when needed. I have had pets of all kinds growing up and have a passion for caring for dogs, cats and small animals such as guinea pigs. I currently work full time Monday through Thursday in the human services field as a case manager. My schedule is flexible and I am available every weekend. About: Hi, my name is Marley, I am currently studying my graduate degree at Springfield College. Since I was 10 years old, I have volunteered at local dog and cat shelters whenever I have a couple open hours within the day: CPR (Companion Pet Rescue, Southbury CT), Heartland Humane Society (Corvallis OR), and Safe Haven Humane Society (Tangent OR). I have been dog sitting and cat sitting for local families for over 5 years just to help out and absolutely love it. I am always responsible of a pet’s health and prioritize them always. I currently have a part-time job where I do not work longer 5 hours in a day, I am also taking classes come September 24, but will easily prioritize checking in on your animals and making the time to care for them! I think that one of the most important jobs as a pet sitter is making sure nothing is rushed, which is why I spend as much time as needed with the animals I watch. I think it is crucial to make sure the animals are happy and healthy both when I arrive and when I leave. I love to take dogs on long walks, play with them outside, and give them the care they need (from feeding to outside time). As for cats, I think they deserve the same amount of attention and I will never pass up the opportunity to give a cat some pets!

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I've cared for all types of dogs from dachshunds to pitbulls; toy poodles to great danes. No dog is too excitable or too strong to handle. I am an active person and will make sure your dog gets lots of exercise. My husband and I like to make sure all pups end the day happy and tired. With a large yard on a quiet street, you pet will feel right at home here. I work from home every day aside from Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a lenient job that I can walk away from when needed. I can take the dog out at any time of day, and have a long lunch break for walks, and plenty of time in the evening for play. I've sat many pets in their own home, and have been able to learn how they behave in their own environment and adapt accordingly. Respecting people's spaces is a top priority, and I always make sure to leave a home exactly as I found it. I have a large home with plenty of outdoor space at the end of a quiet cul da sac. The back yard is secluded and very safe. We do not keep food out, and we make sure no plants that can harm animals ever enter the home. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with very few cars. Most all other dogs in the area have interacted with dogs we have babysat, and are very friendly and well trained.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 12 yrs old there’s nothing I love more than taking care of dogs and making sure there happy and need everything they deserve, I’ve taken care from puppy to senior dogs. Til this day I make time for animals I have 4 days off out of the week and I would love to help out those who need genuine care for there dogs I always make sure my dogs are on a leash, making sure there’s no wild animals out in the yard before I take them out, if I’m walking your dog and I see another dog coming I put myself to the side holding the dog close enough in where the other dog don’t get near us.

About: I’m a college graduate who has spent their whole life in the animal care world. Dogs big and small, young and old. Cats of all tempers. Even exotic pets! Birds, reptiles, bugs, rodents. I’ve done it all! It’s something I’m passionate about and take great pride in. With younger puppies I even can include some basic training. I’ve worked in the past with animals who are also sick if medication needs to be administered. I will make sure that the pet you love so much will be happy, comfortable, and safe. I’m a college graduate with a completely clear schedule! There might be times where I’m volunteering sometime mid-day on a weekday, but I don’t think it should get in the way at all :) needed care comes first! For the time being, I will not bring pets into my personal home. I’m still moving in and don’t want your precious pets getting into anything they shouldn’t in the mess! This will soon change, and I will let everyone know when that happens.
