“Alissa was a real pleasure. We have a brand new 2yo rescue dog, Pixie, who is really sweet but can be a bit rambunctious and not 100% house trained. We needed to have someone come to our house who could follow our training regimen. None of our friends and neighbors were available. This was our first experience with Rover and Alissa was a gem. She was friendly, upbeat and enthusiastic about meeting and spending the weekend at our house with Pixie. Pixie is on heartworm meds and Alissa was on top of everything. She followed our training directions exactly and she send us great pictures and video clip. Not only was she a great dog sitter, our house was also tidy and she made sure to even take out the trash before we came home. It was a great first Rover experience and we will definitely invite Alissa back next time we need a buddy for our Pixie.”

I’m currently working part-time hours since I’m a full-time college student but in my spare time I would love to take care of your pets. About: I’ve taken care of dogs & cats since I was little but didn’t start watching animals until about 2 years ago! My mother has a fur baby name Teddy and I watch him a lot. I also have my own kitten name Tallulah, before getting her I did lots of research though. I work part time! When I’m done with working I walk my neighbors dog, then I stop by my mothers and watch/ play/ walk my moms dog! I care for my pets with respect, as do I with other animals! I am patient, understanding, and friendly. I go above and beyond for pets!

About: I graduated in 2018 from Umass Amherst with my Bachelors of science Pre-veterinary medicine. I have worked as a technician as well as a veterinary receptionist in animal hospitals. I am confident handling most animals, livestock, birds, dogs, cats and I have amateur skills with reptiles and horses. I took a small animal CPR course and can administer medications. I have personally owned 3 dogs, a bird, and many fish throughout my life. I am looking for extra work and have a very flexible schedule. I will typically be available most days and weekends, so don't hesitate to ask! I have a pre-veterinary bachelors degree and plenty of experience handling small pets I have a semi fenced large yard in the suburb area. I have two runs set up in the backyard, both allowing plenty of freedom. I have one dog, Digby. He is a mixed King Charles Cavalier spaniel and poodle. Digby is 6 years old and about 30lbs. He is sort of timid around other dogs but once he knows everything is safe, he loves to play! I live with my mother and my father.
