About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid, as well as other pets like snakes, and I’ve usually been the one in my family to train them. With great pets comes great responsibility. After all, they are more than just pets- they’re family too. Right now my schedule is quite fluid! I work remotely and do a lot of freelance work, so I’m able to be available most days of the week & most times. Aside from providing them with their basic needs, I assess how they behave- their tendencies, preferences, any special needs they may have, etc.- and try to care for them accordingly. I also pay attention to them both emotionally and physically to see if anything is troubling them

About: Calm, quiet environment with a sitter who craves doggy time. My 12 year old black lab recently lost her fight with cancer. Not ready to bring home a new dog, but would love to care for your precious fur babies while you are away. I offer patience and attention to your canine's needs. I'm a human nurse but also experienced with dogs special needs such as insulin administration. I work Monday-Friday, Home on weekends. No young children. Available for walks, dog Parks (dog park with your approval), or hanging out in the yard secured on a 50 foot lead. Dogs are not left outside unattended. You're welcome to bring your pets favorite toy for us to use during their stay. Will try to keep them on your schedule for easy transition from home to sitter. I speak to animals as of they can respond. Days are better with happy pets! Friday drop-off at 5:30 pm. Sunday pick-up by 8:00pm. I have a large yard and a spacious house. Spend weekend around the house doing small projects, crafting or cleaning. It's a quiet, stress free household with a very flexible schedule. While I miss my own pet I'm looking to offer a love-centered environment similar to children visiting their favorite Aunties house.

I know my dog Ziggy absolutely loved her and he was so well taken care of, especially on Christmas. About: Hi, my name is Marley, I am currently studying my graduate degree at Springfield College. Since I was 10 years old, I have volunteered at local dog and cat shelters whenever I have a couple open hours within the day: CPR (Companion Pet Rescue, Southbury CT), Heartland Humane Society (Corvallis OR), and Safe Haven Humane Society (Tangent OR). I have been dog sitting and cat sitting for local families for over 5 years just to help out and absolutely love it. I am always responsible of a pet’s health and prioritize them always. I currently have a part-time job where I do not work longer 5 hours in a day, I am also taking classes come September 24, but will easily prioritize checking in on your animals and making the time to care for them! I think that one of the most important jobs as a pet sitter is making sure nothing is rushed, which is why I spend as much time as needed with the animals I watch. I think it is crucial to make sure the animals are happy and healthy both when I arrive and when I leave. I love to take dogs on long walks, play with them outside, and give them the care they need (from feeding to outside time). As for cats, I think they deserve the same amount of attention and I will never pass up the opportunity to give a cat some pets!

About: I have had medium/large dogs for most of my life. I have taken care of a 35lb Australian Cattle dog as well as 2 pit bulls between 55-70lbs. I've also dog-sat a dog under 10lbs and walked dogs who were 140lbs. I've also worked in home with families who had cats ranging in size and demeanor. I work full time which is why I can only do sitting on weekends. I am looking to do more hobbies and this seems like something fun for me to add. I care for my dog Zelda who's partially blind so I have an awareness for disabled pups. That is also the reason I cannot board dogs in my home. I would likely spend a large portion of my day with the dog I'm taking care of, giving them some kind of walk during the day and making sure to lock up each time I leave the home. I would make sure they are fed on time and receive the same kind of loving care I give my dogs at home.

“We had Chris come do an in-home stay for the first time with our reactive pitbull and he crushed it! Reactive dogs are not the easiest to find sitters for and Chris was very accommodating with setting up a meet and great before hand and had even done his own research ahead of time to make sure he was knowledgeable before going through the introduction process. Our dog warmed up to him right away and she was able to immediately identify him as a safe person since he was so calm and easy going with her. When it came time for him to stay, all that was needed was a quick reminder and they were best buds for the rest of the weekend. He quickly learns her quirks. He sent daily pictures and updates. Then when we returned, our mail was stacked on the counter and the house was very neat, just as we left it, which is always appreciated when someone stays in your home. During the introduction stage he even requested to be shown where our cleaning supplies were and when our trash gets taken out. Chris was not only an excellent dog sitter, but a great house sitter as well! We are frequent travelers and will definitely be continuing to use Chris.”
