Fenced In Yard, Small Dogs Welcome!
It’s said that if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. They must have been thinking of working with dogs when they said that! I absolutely love working with pups, and the truth is I prefer the company of dogs to people most times! They bring me a sense of tranquility that I can't seem to find any place else. I adore being able to provide pups with the love and care they’re used to at home. When I’m not pet sitting, I enjoy my favorite hobby: playing with my dogs! We have a pet stroller that they love, so we often go for walks. Then there is Crystal my white bunny who loves to beg for snacks :) Even when I’m not working with animals, I spend all my time with them. I will be the only caretaker for your pup, but I’ll have my three fur babies along for the ride too. Reggie is 8 yrs old and 12 pounds. Kong is 4 years old and weighs 12 pounds. Angelo 12 lbs as well. He is only 1 yr old. All are very sweet and well behaved; they truly are best friends! (I do prefer that the dogs I sit to be under 25 pounds themselves.) They are pretty pampered, but that means that you can expect that treatment too when you’re here! During a stay, I’m always happy to make owners happy by sending plenty of text, picture, and video messages their way so they know just how their pup is getting along. I also give them a complete tour of my home so they feel comfortable knowing its, safe, clean and dog friendly! I also carefully go over diet with owner to be sure Im feeding what they want and when . I show them my all natural food and the special treats for extra good behavior. My home and neighborhood are the best part of your vacation! First of all, dogs are allowed to use any furniture in my home! I have a large five room apartment where just me, my dogs and birds live. The birds even have their own room! We have a large deck, a fenced-in front yard, a large, fenced-in backyard, and a park directly across the street! We are four blocks away from Revere Beach and around the corner from Belle Isle Salt Marsh where they have the most beautiful, nature filled dog park in the world.

Karen is amazing! She welcomed our two dogs into her fold for a weekend and they were happy, entertained, and cared for extremely well. Karen sent us pictures throughout the weekend, showing how well they acclimated in near real-time. One of the dogs needed three medications twice a day, and this proved to be no issue whatsoever. While they were eventually happy to see us during pickup, they were obviously content with their place in the pack until they finally saw us. (Even then it took a moment for them to clock what was happening. This was our first time boarding them.) We would happily board them again with Karen in the future.
Karen provides an excellent atmosphere for dogs. My dog felt happy and at home in her care. She was also very sweet and accommodating to my schedule. I am so grateful to have met her.
Karen was amazing. She provided a home away from home for my two dogs, with lots of friends to play with. They had a wonderful stay and Karen took exceptional care of them. Thank you!!
Karen provided excellent dog care for my Mia. Her Chihuahuas were polite and welcoming. Karen provided clear instructions at the meet and greeet as well as plenty of pictures during Mia's stay. Her house and backyard are perfect for taking care of dogs, especially small ones like Mia. I am grateful to have found Karen, and I am sure I will be calling in for her help again in the future.
She's very sweet and sent me a lot of updates throughout my dog's stay!
Thank you Karen for taking care of my Noah you were so good to me and Noah I will recommend you 100% to anyone with your care very responsible you keep me calm on my vacation letting me know the whole time the Noah was ok taking care my pet as it was yours giving so much love thanks again..

Schedule
I work from home so have full-time availability 7 days a week including holidays. Therefore I will be available whenever you may need me :). Please understand I have chihuahuas so can't host big dogs over 25 lbs.

I have a fenced in yard and plenty of treats and toys on hand. I can be flexible to any specific need they have concerning their comfort, Communication with pet owner is key. I have 3 chihuahuas so unfortunately can only host dogs under 25 lbs.

A typical day
I am lucky enough to be able to be home with my pets all day, so your pup will get my undivided attention. They can play in a safe fenced in yard or if weather is bad they can have fun in my pet friendly house.

- Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup? Other things to note: Toy breeds are preferred. Dogs must be up to date on their rabies shot (certificate required.) Biting, fighting or excessive barking will terminate the arrangement. My dogs are not neutered.
