Availability
I work from home every day aside from Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a lenient job that I can walk away from when needed. I can take the dog out at any time of day, and have a long lunch break for walks, and plenty of time in the evening for play. I've sat many pets in their own home, and have been able to learn how they behave in their own environment and adapt accordingly. Respecting people's spaces is a top priority, and I always make sure to leave a home exactly as I found it.

I have a large home with plenty of outdoor space at the end of a quiet cul da sac. The back yard is secluded and very safe. We do not keep food out, and we make sure no plants that can harm animals ever enter the home. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with very few cars. Most all other dogs in the area have interacted with dogs we have babysat, and are very friendly and well trained.

A typical day
When I am pet sitting, my day typically starts at 6am to take them outside/for a short walk. I come in and give them food and fresh water. I then get myself ready and log on for work. Throughout the day I step away from work to take them outside, play a bit. During lunch we will go for another short walk and depending on the feeding schedule of the dog, give them lunch. I end work at 4 and do some relaxing/chores. Then my husband and I will make dinner and feed the dog. After dinner we will go for an hour walk, depending on how athletic the dog is, and then play in the yard. We then clean up and relax more, ending with one final trip to the yard before we head to bed.

Pet care experience
I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I've cared for all types of dogs from dachshunds to pitbulls; toy poodles to great danes. No dog is too excitable or too strong to handle. I am an active person and will make sure your dog gets lots of exercise. My husband and I like to make sure all pups end the day happy and tired. With a large yard on a quiet street, you pet will feel right at home here.

Mary is the best! We know our dogs are well taken care of when they are there. She is communicative and sends lots of pictures. Couldn’t ask for anything better!!

Dax had to have some work done on his mouth recently and we were worried about leaving him to go out of town. Mary and Derek took such good care of him. They were very attentive to making him comfortable and Mary gave me detailed updates about how he was doing. They are just the best!

They take such good care of Dax! I love getting pictures of Dax playing or having a cuddle. I feel good knowing I'm leaving him in good loving hands! 💓🐶

Thank you for taking wonderful care of my pups. I know they can be a handful and Tre is so vocal, it is a riot. You are a delight and extremely great with my three holds!
