“Donna-Lee is very experienced with working with dogs and has an air of authority that definitely caught my husky Zelda's attention! Zelda is typically a laid back and happy girl but can pull when she's excited or fidget when waiting to cross the road. When Donna-Lee and I did our meet and greet I was given some complimentary pointers on how to better manage her as a new dog owner, which have definitely helped! I feel very comfortable leaving Zelda with her. ☺️”

About: My parents have had our family dog Hugo, a schnauzer since I was 16, living with him for many years helping with general care. I also look after many of my friends dogs for a few days or a week at a time, this includes a Pomeranian, schnauzer and Labrador. We are a very loving family who will care and love each pet like they are our own. Our household currently includes myself, who works part-time (4 hours a day), my partner, my in-laws (who are retired) and my 1 year old therefore, we have a lot us of to give constant love and attention to some furry friends! I have a spacious house with a fenced in garden, therefore, plenty of room for your dog also space for them to be outside, exploring and not feeling trapped in the house!

“Thanks Tracey. Cookie was very looked after again. We appreciate all your help.”

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, our pet dog "Dexter", a Jack Russell sadly passed away earlier this year at 13 years old. I still have a Jackawawa "Blaze" who is 4 years old, we adopted him at 2 years old and he did come with some behavioural issues that we've had to work on. I reguarly look after and walk dogs for friends, too :-) I have 2 daughters, a 17 year old with ADHD and Autism, currently looking for an apprenticeship, and a 15 year old currently being home educated, but due to start at Moulton college in September, and who also wants to work with dogs. Dog walking will work really well around being available for them and earning some money. I won't be offering day care at my home until I know the dogs well. I have a safe enclosed garden for my dog. And we like to use enrichments, such as licky mats and toys to keep dogs amused, as well as regular exercise and having the opportunity to rest somewhere peaceful and comfortable.

I have 3+ years of animal care experience in the form of working in a doggy daycare, current work as a Veterinary care assistant and previous work on farms. I have worked with many different breeds of dog of varying shapes and sizes all with seperate needs and temprements. Including but not limited to: feeding, medicines, excercise, clean up and general husbandry. I have a brilliant understanding of dogs and animals need for stimulation and the care required for them and although I do specialise in dog care, I am an animal lover so I am open to looking after cats and expanding my knowledge and experience of other animals. Local to Irchester and Wellingborough and taking local clients for drop ins and dog walking, but more than willing to travel further for overnight care. If you have any questions or enquiries please send me a message and I will do what Ican to help. I am currently working part time as a veterinary care assistant so bookings will need to be made in advance, as well as this I am taking online courses but these can be worked around to fit any schedule, weekend work should be booked well in advance as on alternative weekends I have my son and need to arrange childcare within the times booked. Dependant on the animals needs and times based on their routine. I will adhere to any instructions given by the owner and make their animals care my top priority.

About: I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience through my previous work at a re- homing kennel, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, cleaning, and providing enrichment and comfort to ensure each dog felt safe and happy. Alongside my kennel work, my university studies in Canine Therapy have provided me with practical skills in canine behavior, handling, and first aid. I’ve also worked with nervous or reactive dogs, helping to build trust and confidence through calm, consistent care. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who loves adventure or a senior dog who just needs gentle company, I tailor my care to meet each pet’s individual needs. Hi! I'm currently studying for a BSc (Hons) in Canine Therapy and have just completed my second year. My background includes hands-on experience working in kennels, along with up-to-date training in canine first aid, behavior, and handling, so your pup will be in safe, knowledgeable hands! As a full-time university student now on summer break, I’m excited to spend the season doing what I love most: caring for dogs. I'm available throughout the summer to walk, exercise, and give your furry friend plenty of attention while you're away or just need an extra hand. Whether it’s daily walks or some playtime company, I’m here to keep those tails wagging! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. When staying in your home, I aim to maintain your pet’s regular routine in their familiar environment—minimizing stress and keeping things as normal as possible while you're away. Whether it’s feeding schedules, daily walks, medication, or cuddle time, I stick closely to your instructions to ensure consistency and peace of mind. I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust. I’m respectful, tidy, and treat every home as if it were my own—leaving it just as I found it (or better!). I provide regular updates and am always happy to check in with photos or messages so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in safe, caring hands.
