About: I’ve been around dogs almost my whole life and absolutely adore them. I’ve had the opportunity to walk and care for both smaller (Yorkshire terriers, cocker spaniels, springer spaniels) and larger dogs (cane corso, Newfoundland, boxers). I love trying to teach dogs simple commands on walks like sitting, heeling, waiting etc. I just love being around dogs and seeing them happy makes me happy. I work part-time at the moment and study at Stirling uni so I’m always close to home and am able to take time out of my mornings and afternoon/evenings to walk and take care of dogs. I live in a gated community with plenty of access to nearby greenery and woodland walks. The flat has plenty of space for a small/medium sized pup to roam and make it feel like home.

About: I am a semi retired NHS worker who is looking to fill my free time with something I’m hugely passionate about. I have a black lab of my own who I love like a child. I have previously had a chocolate and golden lab. I have experience will all dogs and cats in my younger days. I have a black lab, who I prioritise over my son (he would probably say). I work 3 nightshifts a week and my son will support, he is at home. He works full time 9-5 so there is always someone in the house for pets. I am purely looking to have dogs or cats where my availability suits. I will walk them 3 times a day in line with my own dog. I have acres of greenery at the back of my house. My garden is completely dog friendly and Luna my black lab is friendly and well natured.

About: I’m not just a pet sitter – I’m a pet lover through and through. I know how important it is for your dog to feel comfortable and loved, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I believe in providing lots of attention, enrichment, and care to make their time with me just as joyful as when they’re with you! I am currently available at all times through the week and even during the weekend from early in the morning right the way through to late at night. During my drop-in visits, I’ll provide a thorough check-in with your pet, including feeding, playing, and giving them plenty of love and attention. I’ll ensure your pet is safe, comfortable, and has everything they need while you’re away. I’m happy to offer short play sessions or walks, depending on what your dog enjoys. I’ll also check in on their general well-being – making sure they have water, are feeling healthy, and have everything they need to feel at ease while you're gone. If you have any special instructions (like administering medication), I’ll make sure to follow them carefully.

About: I have been pet sitting neighbors and friends dogs for a while and have always had a dog but I don’t have the chance here. I would love to watch your pets for you and play with them! Plus I love long walks! I am a university student who has classes (Starting 15th of September) but I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to come by whenever and stay if needed! I don’t have pets here, but when I did my golden and I, Captain, would go on walks every day and he used to read with me.

About: I have had dogs since I was a child however living in a flat with one wouldn't be easy so I have decided to wait until I purchase a house with a garden so will pet sit until then! I now work from home so I can house sit as long as there is a solid internet connection to allow your dog to be in its own space whilst I am there to reduce stress. I have my own vehicle to get to and from in the Stirling area also. I work full time from home or anywhere remote - 08.00- 16.00 Mon- Fri so happy to house sit any hours during this time. It's also easy for me to pick up new hours and alter schedules to what is needed. I have cats currently and probably way over protective of them, so I know how important any pet parent is about leaving their beloved animal with someone. I would always be extra attentive.

About: I have cared for pets my whole life. Bathing, feeding and walking pets every day including my own dog, family members & friends pets. Pets are a joy to be around I’m currently looking to make this a full time job, something that I’ve always loved doing. About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats and horses and now have 2 horses of my own. I am definitely the person in my family that people come to when they need a cat or dog looked after if they are going away. This is a bonus for me as I love spending time with animals. I have dealt with animals at all stages of life from puppies/kittens all the way through to their last days and I’m comfortable giving medication to both cats and dogs if necessary. I love getting involved with training dog and have dealt with this first hand with my parents WC spaniel and also my uncle’s retriever most recently. I was also offered the opportunity a couple of years ago to familiarise a Labrador who was to then going on to be a therapy dog. I currently work from home full time with great flexibility. I am active before work, during my lunch break and after work always going for walks or off up to the horses. I have lots of time for dog cuddles and taking your furry friend out for pees and walks. I live in a 2 bedroom ground floor flat which has an unfenced back and side garden away from the main road. I live within walking distance of some great parks and places for your dog to be off the lead (if permitted) I also live shorts drives away from loads of great trail walks and country parks. I’m more than happy for your dog to be in a crate if you are to provide one otherwise I usually just have dogs allowed to wander about the flat.

About: I have 3 dogs ranging from 4 to 10 years old and so I have experience of looking after dogs of varying ages. I have also looked after an elderly rescue dog and so I know how to be patient with them. 2 of my dogs are reactive so I have learned how to positively handle such situations. I currently have loads of free time before going to uni and I'm looking to spend my time doing something I enjoy. I can be very flexible at the moment too. I also have a full driving licence. I can tailor my care to each pet by understanding their needs. I can administer oral medication and adjust walks depending on the age and personality of dogs.

About: Experienced pet parent of 10+ years, caring for cats and dogs. I have been caring for animals all my life - when I was 14 I would walk most of the neighbourhood's dogs for some pocket money. Additionally, I have experience with both young and senior animals. I'm a Business Student at Strathclyde, looking for some pet therapy. Having animals can be a handful, so allow me to look after them when you need a night away, a much needed day off or have an important commitment. I'm currently a student at Strathclyde and work part-time twice a week, both are conveniently located just 10 minutes from my flat ensuring I'm always nearby to check in. I'm also very flexible and can work around your pet's requirements. If I was to stay in your home to look after your pet I'd make sure what boundaries and rules you had for both me and your pet. I would also happily take on any small tasks you need to be done. Communication is my golden rule to ensuring both our needs are met so we leave each experience satisfied!

About: After a long time of asking my parents for a pet I got my first pet aged 7, albeit a hamster I have been hooked ever since! I have since had many more pets and when given the opportunity looked after friend’s and family’s pets. When my family and I moved to the countryside I noticed how many people especially those a bit older were struggling to take their dogs out as often/far as they might like, so I helped out with this where I could and I loved getting to know each of their little (or big!) personalities and quirks. I have also had the opportunity to pet sit pets of all ages from puppies to golden oldies while owners have been away on holiday. Since moving to Stirling I have missed doing this and when I found out about rover I couldn’t wait to get started. I am a student paramedic and work at a care home as a bank carer. So I have a flexible schedule and am very good with my time management. I will care for your pet as though they were my own. I am diligent and so happy to follow any schedule/routine that you have in place for them. I love spending time with animals and getting to know their personalities and quirks.
