Amy was super helpful, I really appreciated that she could pick up and drop off. Oskar was very happy and well walked The Rover side of things was difficult though as really difficult to alter the booking, it shows Iskar as having had a 12 mile walk and I'm reasonably certain he didn't in the time!

About: . I’ve lived on farms and had pets since I was born. I’m used to looking after large and small animals from cows to fish. I currently have a cat and a couple chickens (which are in a separate garden) and have looked after friends and family pets, and I’d love to welcome more pets for a stay at my pet ‘hotel’! Ive also volunteered at an animal rescue helping to walk the dogs and clean the kennels and cattery. With all the pets I’ve had I’ve suffered great losses of my best friends and recently my house has been feeling rather empty for me and my cat who lost two of his family members recently due to old age, so I would love to meet and care for your pets as being around furry friends always makes me feel better! From playful puppies and kittens to the older gentler fluffs, I’ll ensure your pet gets the care they deserve, wether that’s running about in the garden, or administering medication I’ll be there for them I don’t have a job apart from looking after pets so you can rest easy knowing I can be with your dog 24/7 and I love to spend my time with animals as they always make a day better. I live with my parents who are also big animal lovers so your pet will never be alone in case I have to pop to the shops! With having no job it means I can accommodate to your pets needs easier, such as taking them out at certain times if they’re on a schedule, administering medicine and feeding them when they’re used to. I live in a bungalow so there’s no stairs to worry about, and have a large garden with a small area covered in trees for those hot days spent in the shade, the area is fenced off and looked after so no worries about your pet eating anything harmful. I’m in the country side and there are endless walks around me to take your pet on. I’d love to know about your pets before they arrive such as their diet, when they get fed and how many treats their allowed, how much exercise they require and just general knowledge of their personality so that I can make their stay as comfortable and happy for them as I can. I have a couple photos of my garden uploaded and am just a short drive to the seaside for those dogs that live the water!

About: Always had pets, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and rodents, from being a child. I have dog & cat sat for family and lots of friends many times over. Have also owned a dog and a cat myself in the past. My family has a Pet Supplies business of over 25 years and I have a great deal of experience in all aspects of what pets need. Have training experience if required and love animals of all kinds. I'm currently not working, I do have to go out on Tuesday and Thursday mornings but only for 3 hours on the specified days but the rest of the time I am at home and available to your pets. Please note, I do occasionally have my children overnight so if children are a problem for your pets please let me know and I will be able to tell you whether or not they will be there on the days you are wanting my services. I have a nice dog friendly, fenced garden fully enclosed and plenty of space in the house and several dog walking trails right next to my house.

About: Hello! My name is Mike and I'm excited to be your pet sitter. I have lived and worked with pets my entire life. My family has always loved animals and I reminisce about growing up with our cats Rudy, Jake, Annie and Eli. I also loved our chocolate labrador named Java and our golden retriever Max. I currently live in Kendal and we have two cats named Luna and Alfredo who are such a joy. My full time job is as a Lecturer at a local University. I am keen to get involved in pet sitting and care in the local community. I am able to care for a wide range of animals and I am happy to cater pet care to your pet's specific needs. I am a very loving and caring person and will treat your pet with lots of love and affection. I look forward to hearing from you and working with you and your pet 😁 My schedule is flexible so I am happy to work with you to develop a plan for individualised care for your pet based on their (and your) needs. I am also a user of Rover when my wife and I take trips abroad. I understand the trust that is placed in a pet sitter and promise to respect your home and your pet.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and horses for families for 6 years now. I have house sat for up to 3 weeks at a time for families to look after pets. I currently work full time - but from home half of the week so have lots of time to play with your pups! I walk every lunch break and evening, varying lengths depending on the great British weather! I have a fenced garden and an old lady spaniel to keep your pup company. I can crate your dog if needed! I live in a quiet area with lots of walks on the doorstep.

About: I have two very cute cocker spaniels called Fern and Bessie who are 3 and 4. They both love other doggies! I work from home most days of the week so am around to look after your dog most days. We walk three times a day. A short one in the morning, half an hour at lunch and then an hour after work usually in the woods or up a mountain! We live in the centre of Windermere so have access to so many beautiful dog walks I work from home most days of the week (2 days in the office sporadically). I joke that I have a second full time job as a dog mum! I have a small garden for the dogs to do their wees and poos but we mostly take them out for lots of fun walks

About: We've a great affinity with dogs having grown up with them. We love the energy that dogs bring to the world and make plenty of time to give them the play and exercise they need (however much this is). We will look to show the same love and care to your pet as you would. We love meeting all types of dogs and lots of them but sometimes we do say no. We will only do this if we think we are not a good fit for your pet. It's our first priority that all our dogs are comfortable when they stay with us. For this reason also, we will never have dogs from multiple households staying with us at the same time. My partner and I both work on a hybrid basis which means one of us will always be at home in the week. This allows us to ensure 1 to 1 care 7 days per week when your pet stays with us. We are happy to support up to 3 walks per day for your dog ..if they are up for it! We have a good sized garden which backs onto a public green space, so regular short walks couldn't be easier. There are also plenty of longer routes available to ensure your pet gets the exercise it needs. My partner and I are both attentive and can give them lots of interaction and play. We can also work to whatever schedule they are used to so they have some normality whilst staying with us.

Mark has done an absolutely amazing job looking after our dogs on our wedding day! Nothing was too much trouble. He hung around during the ceremony and while we were taking photos then took the two dogs away on the most amazing walkies ever! They climbed a mountain, ran around with sheep and came back the happiest tired pooches. We couldn’t be more grateful for the perfect dog date on our special day!

About: I grew up surrounded by a variety of pets, including goats, alpacas, dogs, fish, giant snails and stick insects. I have owned dogs all my life growing up with hounds, whippets and a staffy and now owning my very lazy lurcher- Layla. As well as having pets in my home life, I have worked with animals professionally for 10 years. I started working at a kennels and when I was 14 and later became supervisor. There, I have gained experience caring for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, small furries, birds and reptiles whilst their owners were away on holiday. We also looked after rescue dogs who came into our care due to them being neglected or abused or because their owners simply couldn't care for them any more. The most rewarding part of this was seeing the physical, mental and behavioural improvements after receiving proper care and love, often for the first time in their lives. I have worked with a variety of breeds, ages and temperaments and have no bias. I am familiar with aggressive and reactive dogs as well as those who are terrified of their own shadow. I am willing to provide the extra time and patience that these pups require to ensure they're happy and comfortable. I have experience in walking/ enrichment, cleaning, feeding, basic grooming and medicating- including oral, topical and injections so I am happy to discuss your pets' needs. **I have a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Care and Welfare** I currently do group walks twice daily as I have my own business 'Hounds at Holme' and can do drop-in visits at breakfast, tea and bedtime. I follow instructions carefully to make sure your pets receive the care they need and you desire. If your dog has special requirements such as staying on lead at all times or wearing a muzzle then that's not a problem. I am trustworthy and reliable and will strive to provide the best care possible to all pets. I am insured, DBS checked have a certificate in pet first aid, 10+ yrs professional animal care experience and hold a level 3 diploma in animal care and welfare.

I’ve known Mike for many years and he’s always loved animals. He is a very responsible, caring, and empathetic person and this shows with the way he interacts with his own two cats as well as his family dogs/cats growing up. He is great at following routines necessary and loves being able to play, go on walks or just relax with pets. Your pets will be in fantastic hands with Mike. I 100% recommend him as your next pet sitter!
