About: Hi! Our names are Emmy and West and we are soon-to-be married cat-lovers in Solihull. We are new to Rover but not new to cat-sitting! We have had cats since we were very young, including our now senior cat Lola, who is 12 🐈⬛. We understand that going on holiday can be a bittersweet moment as we are forced leave our furry friends behind. Our approach to caring for your cat is nothing short of attentive, loving and entirely paced by your kitty. We have struggled to find reliable and ‘cat-loving’ sitters in the past and so we are so pleased we can offer this service to others in the area. We have experience of looking after many different types of cats from kittens and nonchalant divas to anxious elderly cats. If there is anything specific you need us to do when looking after your furbaby, then let’s discuss at the time of booking. We look forward to meeting your kitty! Emmy works hybrid from the office and from home, so is predominantly around in the evenings and weekends for pet-sitting. West works flexibly for himself as a chiropractor in the local area, meaning he is the one who normally takes the morning bookings. Most of all, we love to do visits together. Unfortunately, we can’t offer cat-boarding as our cat Lola isn’t able to share her territory. It is so important that cat sitters entering feline territory don’t disturb the environment. It is so important that when owners are away, cats don’t experience any change to their surroundings. We ensure to keep bowls and litter trays clean and respond to the needs of the cat/owner. For example, if the owner requires flaps to be locked over night, then that is what we do. We also ensure to keep the house secure and follow all instructions.

“Salma was amazing with my cat, Poppet. She was aware I had never left her before and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She ensured I was always updated, sent photos everyday and cared for my cat well. I would always use Salma now if I went away.”

“Julie was very patient with our cat Smudgy as he is weary of new faces. She sent regular pictures and notes on how the visit went. She is trustworthy, professional and put me at ease on her first visit to the house to meet me. I would definitely recommend and book again with her.”

“My dog loves visiting here. There is plenty of toys available for stimulation and access to park and woodlands nearby for doggy walks. When away from my dog, although i miss him, i know that he is in safe hands and having a pawsome time. I like my pup-date photos that I receive providing me with updates about my dogs day too. It is good to know that my dog is in safe hands.”

Wan wa M.
“I can’t recommend Margaret enough as a cat sitter! She cared for my cat multiple times, and each time I’ve come home to a relaxed, happy kitty. Her calm, gentle nature is perfect for cats, and they truly understand feline behavior—whether it’s giving space to a shy cat or playing endlessly with a curious one. What I love most is how thoughtful and reliable she is. I always get updates, cute photos, and little notes about what my cat’s been up to. It’s clear she treats every cat like her own, and that kind of care is rare. If you’re looking for someone who’s experienced, trustworthy, and genuinely loves cats, Margaret is the one!”

Millicent I.
“I’m writing to recommend my friend Millie as a dog walker. She is one of the most loving, caring, and responsible people I know, especially when it comes to animals. Her genuine affection for dogs is clear in the way she interacts with them, always patient, kind, and attentive to their needs. In addition to her natural connection with animals, she’s also incredibly hardworking and dependable. Any dog would be lucky to have her!”
