About: I’ve been a dog person since I was 11, when my first dog Lady came into my life unexpectedly and utterly changed it. She was re-homed with us when her family moved abroad and from the moment she arrived, she became my dog. That bond was instant, magical, and honestly addictive. Since then, I’ve owned, loved, boarded, walked, and cared for dogs of all shapes and sizes and my life is fuller for it. I believe dogs are basically permanently furry toddlers. They need love, routine, reassurance, stimulation, and above all someone who treats them with the same care you’d give your own child. That’s exactly the kind of care I provide. I offer a calm, safe, affectionate home environment with plenty of company, structured walks, and space to relax. I take time to get to know each dog’s personality and routine so they feel secure and at ease while you’re away. Whether they’re a nervous first timer or a seasoned house guest, I tailor care to suit them. I’m happy to stay overnight, keeping your dog comfy, safe, and spoiled in their own space. You can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy, and genuinely cared for like one of the family. My regular availability for boarding is Friday evening from 7pm to Monday evening at 7pm, ( I can collect) perfect for weekend getaways or short breaks. I also have extra time during the summer holidays and festive periods, so feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help if I can! If boarding with me your pet will have access to a secure, fenced garden for outdoor time and play. While I don’t have crates myself, I’m more than happy for your dog to bring their own bed, crate, blankets, or comfort items, whatever helps them relax and feel at ease.

“Lisa was really fab with us (and are short notice too) when she was able to walk our wee dog (Oakley). She was clear with her communication and updated us throughout the time she was with him. I felt reassured and that Oakley was well looked after throughout. Thank you x”

About: Would love to keep your pet company as I’m a pet lover that cant own at the moment! I have experience in cat and dog sitting. I’ve really enjoyed it and would love to do more!! I have a lot of free time as I am not working at the moment. This gives me the chance to give your pet all the attention they need. I have a garden at the back of my flat. This is shared with other tenants, however it’s very spacious for dogs to play. I also live in a quiet area so your pet won’t feel too overwhelmed by the noise.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a child and cared for several dogs in the family of all shapes and sizes! My wife and I adopted our first dog four years ago and know how important it is to have someone you can trust looking after your little fur baby. We’ve also fostered greyhounds before and loved the experience. We guarantee they’ll be spoiled rotten with us and shown all the love and attention they deserve! I’m working part time at the moment and wanted to use the extra few days I have to do something I really enjoy, spending time with doggos! I’m happy to build my daily routine around your dog to meet their exercise, play and eating needs We have a large apartment for your dog to have their own space if needed but I’ll be around all day and happy to spend time with them and provide cuddles or play. We have our own dog who is really friendly and enjoys company but we have enough space to keep her separate if need be!

“Lucy has a great temperament with my dog Ripley. Ripley loves her to pieces and looks forward to every walk with her. Can't recommend enough!”

About: I have experience caring for pets of all sizes – from dogs and cats to guinea pigs! I’ve looked after both energetic puppies and senior dogs, tailoring their care to their individual needs. I'm confident with feeding routines, walks, playtime, and administering basic medications. Your pet will be in safe, loving hands. I work full time and available after 6 pm with some flexibility to work from home, and I’m mostly available on weekends for daytime care or overnight stays. I live in a secure, pet-friendly flat with a large, fenced garden – perfect for safe outdoor time. I'm also just a 3-minute walk from a lovely big park for walks and play. I'm happy to crate your dog if needed and always make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

“Sally was very nice, on time and great with my dog Beth. I will be booking her again in the future. ?”

About: I've been using Rover for a while now so thought I should update this (It's 28th June 2023 today). I started off in 2022 doing a bit of dog sitting through Borrow my Doggy which was great to see if this suited me. I had a dog when I was young and now appreciate how much is entailed as an an adult pet owner / carer! Regardless, I can confirm that I still find it an absolute joy and privilege to look after a dog or cat :-) My house has an enclosed, good sized garden and there are plenty of nice dog-walking routes nearby. I regularly work at home and although I do have calls throughout the work day, my schedule tends to be flexible so I can pop out for walks / playtime in the garden. As long as your dog / cat is not overly clingy / barky and reasonably well trained, I could be a good fit to look after them. I like having a bit of company, a happy wee face to look at when I'm up to my eyes in spreadsheets and I reason to get out in the fresh air. I'm very patient and happy to help with your training programme / fit in with your dog's schedule as long as you brief me in advance. Look forward to hearing from you! Any questions just drop me an email, thanks. I work from home several days a week and I'm available most evenings in the week and occasional weekends as well. I'm a driver so able to travel reasonable distances. My back garden is fairly big and fenced-in / secure. There are french doors directly out to the garden so a dog could wander in and out (in the good weather at least!). Your dog would pretty much have free run around most of the house. I'm ok with them being on the sofa in the kitchen / diner but not allowed in bedrooms or on the beds. I'd prefer if they slept downstairs in the kitchen / diner (which is spacious) and can easily accommodate a crate if required.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. Unlike some sitters who do this as a side gig, I genuinely love spending time with pets and treat them like part of the family. Friends and family often turn to me first when they need a sitter because they know I’m reliable, attentive, and truly care. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs—whether that means extra cuddle time, long walks, or simply keeping their routine consistent and stress-free. As a member of cabin crew, my schedule gives me plenty of free time between flights—which means I’m often home and fully available to care for your pets! I use that downtime to do what I love most: spending time with animals. Whether it’s drop-ins, overnight stays, or quality cuddle time, I’m reliable, flexible, and happy to work around your pet’s routine. When I’m not flying, I’m home—and your pet will have my full attention and care. In a pet owner's home, I follow your pet's routine closely—feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddles—just how they like it. I keep things calm, clean, and comfortable, making sure they feel safe while you're away. I'm respectful of your space and keep you updated with messages and photos. If caring for pets in my home, they get lots of love, attention, and a quiet, cozy space to relax. I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness, no matter the location.

“Great walker, on time and available a lot.”
