About: As a 4th-year veterinary medicine student at the University of Glasgow, caring for animals isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. I’ve managed a cattery, looked after my own beloved dogs and cats, and regularly cared for pets belonging to friends and family. Over the past four years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in various veterinary practices, deepening both my clinical skills and my understanding of what pets truly need to feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether it's cuddles, playtime, or medication support, I treat every pet like my own—with patience, compassion, and genuine care. I'm currently off university for the summer, so I'm available most days and times unless I'm on placement. During term time, I'm free most evenings and weekends, except for Wednesdays and Fridays. I provide attentive, loving care tailored to each pet's needs, whether in my home or the owner's. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping to their routine to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.

About: I retired from full time work a few years ago, so I now have loads of time on a daily basis to allocate to dog walking/sitting/drop-in visits/boarding. I have been a dog owner/carer since 2010. In that time, I have cared for my dog, Cody. Cody had epilepsy and also a heart condition. Therefore I also have experiance in administering oral medication to a rather reluctant dog. I was lucky enough to be Cody's owner for almost 12 of the best years ever. When Cody and I went for a walk, it was very much Cody taking me for a walk rather than the other way round. I believe that's the way it should be. It's the dogs time to do what a dog needs to do, it's the Owner's responsibility to ensure the walk is done in a relaxed and safe manner. I'm now the owner of a very lovable Maltese Terrier. Toby had been my Sister-In-Laws dog since birth and is now 7 years old. I have been Toby's owner since August 2024. So, if you're looking for a reliable dog carer with loads of time for your dog, then let me know. I have a very friendly 7 year old male Maltese Terrier to keep your dog company. As with my own dog, your dog is free to roam anywhere within my house and within my fenced in back garden. My house is a bungalow, so no stairs to worry about. I can and do spend a lot of time ensuring my dog is as safe and comfortable as possible. I will do the same for your dog.

She is the first person we have had as a dog walker and will be using her again. Karen visited to get our dog used to her and we chatted too. We filled out a little consultation form and she sent pictures and videos and let us know how the dog was (behaviour/toileting etc). Highly recommend. Can’t thank her for her service enough!”

About: I have cared for dogs of various ages for 30 years being comfortable in puppy adult and senior years. I have various different walks around the local area and access to a front and back garden for when we are at home. While I'm out ypur pet can come with me. They will, if able live with my own pets but this can also be discussed. I care for my own pets and your pet will join as if they are part of the family receiving love from my family also with no other responsibilities for the period they are here. Availability will only be posted when this is guarantees. I am PVG registered I can accommodate your pets routine as close as possible whether you pet comes as a solo or to join a pack, I have had various different family pets stay at periods alongside my own animals so this is something they are used to.

About: With years or experience caring (and loving on) a range of animals, I treat every animal like my own- belly rubs, treats, and all. Whether it's playtime, walkies, cuddles or just some good company, I'm here to keep tails wagging and whiskers twitching while you are away. Currently teaching part-time. I am available end of week and weekends to help you enjoy your well earned time off, and allowing me to get outdoors and spend time with the best furry friends. I have a spacious flat that has easy access garden and nature walks, not too close to busy traffic areas. Your fur baby can have any space required, including own room if necessary.

About: Dog walking is my happy place. With an enclosed garden, detached house and a safe car- I’m very excited to be on Rover to further my dog & cat sitting experience. I’ve grown up being a dog owner, from puppies to senior rescues with additional needs. I’ve also had a few cats so I’m very comfortable when I’m around animals. In addition to providing extensive care, I enjoy taking the time to continue and maintain training. From puppies & kittens to more senior pets, I am delighted to care for them all. I understand some animals can feel anxious in an unfamiliar environment- for that reason I sleep downstairs in the living room with the animals to provide a bit of additional comfort and support during the night. Happy to provide as many photos & videos as the owner would like for their own peace of mind. I work part time and I often am off weekends, so when I’m marked available for pet sitting you can be assured that I will be home 90% of the time if not 100% of the time. I do not pet sit if I am working that day or the following day; so the animals have my full attention. In my home, animals are allowed to be in a crate if it is what the owner wishes for their own comfort but I prefer that they are allowed to follow me from room to room to explore. I sleep downstairs with animals so that they feel safe. Happy to provide specific nutrition and medication (not injections). I am happy to have 2 dogs or 2 cats from the same household, but I do not mix animals from different households. Cats would be kept indoors at all times. Dogs are encouraged to play in my enclosed garden under my supervision, in addition to going on lovely walks. Happy to take dogs in my car to local beaches and parks for walking.

About: I live near both the beach and countryside and can offer a variety of different styles of walks to suit different dogs. I have been walking, feeding and taking care of a variety of different dog breeds my whole life. Friends and family would say I am a very trustworthy and loving pet sitter. I am available mid week for walks and drop ins and evening and weekends as and when required. I can be flexible to suit you. I have lots of outdoor open space and live 2 minutes from the beach/a variety of country walks. I have one small dog who would love to keep your fur baby company. About: I’ve taken care of dogs from my own to those of friends and family for around 10 years. I love spending time with dogs and have a very gentle nature. I’m currently working less house than I am used to due to a change in career and would love to fill this time doing something I love! Although I am unable to care for dogs in my own home I can confidently follow instructions on how you wish your pet to be cared for in your own home. I have a dog of my own and help care for my grans dog so understand how important routine is.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, labradors, then was lucky enough to foster a miniature sausage dog x Jack Russell for a year, she was my everything, but unfortunately couldn’t keep her as she needed an older home with less activity (she hated walks, people and being left alone 😂) but she has left a huge hole in my life and my heart. I’ll get another dog again one day at the moment though I’d love to just spend time with other peoples pets, I know how difficult it is to find someone you can trust to leave your dog, but I promise to treat them as if they were my own! I work for myself, part-time so can be flexible with my time and give a dog as much company as they need, and can flex around times/days to suit you. Happy to have dogs over night, follow your rules, and take them for walks or just give them the exercise etc in the garden. I’ve got a 3 story house, and happy for pets to be on furniture. I have a fenced garden with zero access from outside so they would have the space to run, play and snooze too!

About: I am a 30 year old woman with a 4 year old Siberian husky and a 2 year old tabby cat. I am an animal lover and like being outside come rain or shine so be assured your pets will have the best walks or cuddles asked for. I have been brought up around animals my entire life with both sisters having 2 dogs each and my parents having a family dog whilst growing up. I do work full time as a teacher but I have various holidays throughout the year where I am able to walk or have your animal overnight if you are away. Walking your dog or cuddling your cat is at the highest priority. I am very trust worthy when entering your home. About: I’ve always looked after dog and enjoyed it. As I work shifts I can’t get my own so I want to look after other people’s. I work shifts with the Nhs and will only look after dogs when I am off on a/l or have a good run of days off will never watch a dog if I’m working. Just myself and son in house he’s 16. I have a back garden with a fence and gate. Will always supervise pets when outside. Will care for dog to the standard of owner and will treat them well.

About: I have many years experience with pet care, including working in a Veterinary Practice, dog walking, check in’s and even overnight stays! Everyone who had met me, have said they fully trust me with their pet and couldn’t picture anyone else more suited to take care of them and to rely on. I currently own a 6 month old Collie puppy, so I am also experienced in training puppies. I have lots of free time at the moment and I am currently open for bookings from Monday - Friday, offering single and group walks. I have always had a family dog growing up, and I currently own a 10 month old collie pup with my fiancé. So I have tons of experience caring for dogs and love being around them! By working in a Veterinary Practice, I have been trained in handling, health and safety and taking care of the pets we had in care. Over the years I have had friends and family reach out to myself to look after their pets including dogs, cats, fish and chickens. At home I also own guinea pigs and rabbits, so I have had a wide variety of animal care and experience.

About: I have been surrounded by pets my entire life, and I currently have a 5 year old black Lab and a one year old patterdale terrier, and 2 cats. I am eager to begin my career in this industry I’m a student at UWS paisley, so I have plenty free time to spend with ur pets when needed! About: I have had my own dog for over 5 years and watched family members and friends dogs for them and have experience with all different breeds I am currently unemployed so my weekly routine is very open and as I have my own lovely little dog this works well for us both I have a fenced backyard which my dog has access to all day comes in and out as she pleases she gets on very well with other dogs and really likes the company the fence and gate is around 6ft so there very safe and I live across the road from a country park for nice walks
