About: I've had dogs from puppies ever since I was a kid. I love them to feel part of the family. I've also had rabbits, a geko, hamsters. So lots of pet care for small animals too. I currently work part time so have time after work to fit in walks or drop ins. I have a little dog at home who's walked twice a day. I have an enclosed back garden that's grassed and paved, your dog will have full run of the downstairs of the house, living room and kitchen.

About: I have been around dogs all my life, from big to small. I’ve looked after families dogs plenty of times, one which requires diabetic medication and care. In october 2024, I took on a dog that required extra care and attention due to anxiety and being abused as a pup. I work as a TA with flexible hours. Due to the nature of my job, I only work 1-3 days a week which means I can be readily available when needed. I have a large fenced garden with double doors that open onto it, and I am happy to leave the doors open for air flow and to allow the dog freedom of being inside or outside. I can crate if required.

About: Growing up and throughout my whole life I’ve had dogs ranging in size and personality from Yorkshire terriers to Rottweilers! Until a couple of years ago I had a collie X German Shepard called Kira, she was a serious bundle of energy and nothing made me happier than unclipping her lead and watching her explode with joy. I no longer have Kira or the home/worklife balance to have a dog full time but I do have the capacity to care for other dogs on a more temporary basis. A friend suggest Rover and here I am! I currently offer dog walks & home checks - we can tailor walks and factor in any requirements to suit both you and your pets needs I work a day shift for my bread and butter work. I have evenings and some weekend free for dog walking & house calls. I’m looking to potentially set consistent days for dog care although being new to this I’m figuring out what work best all round. Right now I don’t offer overnight dog stays or for me to stay overnight in a pet owners home. I’m currently offering pet home check ins and walking only.

About: I have had a range of animals my whole life including dogs, horses, cows, rabbits, guinea pigs and rats. I have had a rescue terrier for ten years navigating his reactivity and anxiety. I also have a experience in training a Vizsla from being a puppy, and cared for an elderly Lhasa Apso until the end of his life. I am very attuned and attentive to animals subtle communication, allowing them to lead the way in our contact. I am available for drop in visits and walks. I am available at whatever time of day suits your dogs usual schedule, to maintain consistency. I will follow your instructions as to how to best care for your dog(s) and their safety. Walks out of the house will never be off lead. As a Rover user and dog owner myself, I recognise the importance of following instructions closely.

About: I’m experienced in handling large dogs (any size/breed welcome) and have a deep understanding of the needs and quirks of anxious and reactive dogs and the care and patience they require through my experience with my extremely nervous rescue German Shepherd who was in very bad mental and physical condition when I adopted him. Sadly, he passed at the end of 2024 after many happy years together. Personally, I found it extremely difficult to trust others to walk or care for him during our time together so I’d like to reassure those in a similar position that I can take care of their best friend when they need it and I’ll always be as careful, understanding and vigilant as I was with my own. My garden is secure with full, well-maintained fences and walls and a padlocked gate, I have blinds on all public facing windows which can be closed if dogs are triggered by people walking by. Everyone is welcome to supply any toys, beds or anything that makes your dog feel more comfortable and of course I will stick to their usual walking schedule and dietary requirements. I live directly next to a large park which is not typically very busy and offers numerous trails from the main paths to avoid others when caring for reactive dogs. I will never let anyone’s dog off the lead during a walk (unless I have booked a secure field) and always clip leads to a strong walking belt as extra security, walk in shaded areas on hot days and carry water at all times. I mainly work from home so when boarding and pet sitting your dog will be with me all day with regular opportunities to play, go in the garden and for walks in the morning, lunch time and evening. I’m available for walks morning, lunchtime and evenings during the week and all day Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I only care for dogs from the same household on walks and in my home unless they are friends who have already spent time together. This is for the best possible wellbeing of each dog. I’d rather provide quality and complete confidence than take on as many dogs as possible as I believe in giving them the individual care and attention they deserve with as few stressful triggers as possible. I work from home so dogs will not be left unattended or outside for prolonged periods. I only endorse the use of positive reinforcement / reward-based training and treat all dogs with respect, understanding and care tailored to their specific needs. I’m happy to discuss your requirements, answer any questions and arrange a pre-stay meet and greet if required. I have also completed a certified DBS check through my employer.

About: I’m Sian and I’m my late 30s and I work from home. In 2024, I sadly lost my beloved 11-year-old German Shepherd and am now looking for dogs to share in some daily walks and enjoy some doggy companionship. I have plenty of experience with dogs, as they’ve always been a part of my family, and have had 2 rescue dogs of my own, so have lots of experience with anxious pooches. Don’t have any children, so I have plenty of time and attention to give. I love hiking and would be thrilled to have a dog join me on outdoor adventures! I work from home all week so I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your animals. Happy to have them overnight too! Don’t have any children and a big house and garden, so plenty of space to run around and play. Your dog will love running around or chilling at my house.

I'm currently working full-time 8am-4pm so would be available before work around 6am for a walk or check-in and from 4:30pm into the evening. Weekends are also available and more flexible for check-ins and walking. Lots of experience with family dog and my own dog, who sadly passed away this year. About: I have had dogs all my life including rescues had experience fostering dogs with my family too I’ve always been relied on to look after feed walk and help keep the dogs happy and healthy😊 my own dog is impeccably behaved and is amazing with other dogs😊 Due to unforeseen circumstances I do not have a job at this moment in time so I’m available any day anytime for anything you need😊 I have my own dog who is impeccably behaved and my friend who I live with has a puppy who is playful and well behaved so your dog would never be short of company I have a gated yard so your dog would never be able to escape I also have safety gates in my house so your dog would never be left where it can’t be seen and also have cameras to check on my dog if and when I’m out so I can know what’s going on at all times so if I did have to leave them I’d still be able to check up on them I have done dog sitting before so I do have experience dogs are my passion it’s where I feel the happiest I’m trustworthy and people I have done dog sitting for would be able to tell you that if needed I do live in quite a big house so your dogs would not be short of room weather they wanted to lay somewhere separate or interact with my dog😊 I currently do not work so i have a lot of time to help you out and give your babies lots of time when you need to be elsewhere I have a fenced very large garden big enough for your pets to run around, play ball and have fun i have crates, toys, beds, and bowls i also have safety gates so your pets can be safe in any 1 room for any of the services i offer

About: I have grown up around pets. I love animals my favourite are definitely dogs. The dogs I've owed are spaniels so I'm no stranger to chaos I'm currently searching for a full time job , so I am flexible at the moment and would love to spend my time doing things I enjoy, my daily routine consists of walking my own dog, so I'm experienced in the field. About: The service I am providing is what I love to do, animals are amazing and I get along with if it’s playing and keeping them active then I can do that or if they are a little older I can care for their needs and to make sure they are well fed and watered, I have many pets over the years and I’ve loved them all, I love taking them on big walks and I take extra care when sitting around with your pets I will stick to their specific needs and male sure they are as happy as they can be. I have dog sat for many off my family and friends and find it quite relaxing as me and the dogs tend to just get on like a house on fire. I can for the pet care into my routine anytime, as pets come first in my eyes, I will make time to make sure they feel extra special as I do with my own pets I can cater to the needs of each individual pet as and when required too, with my own pets one needs crating when we go out, and the other can roam free.

About: I have owned dogs all my life. I have a whippet cross currently and my parents have a patterdale that I look after regularly. I have an understanding with all kinds of dogs especially reactive! I mainly work evening/night shifts so have a lot of time through the day for walking/spending time with my dog. He’s very dog friendly so would love some new friends. I have a fully fenced back garden, and my dog is very dog friendly. However I do have the time for dogs that need to be alone also.

About: I have many years of experience in both pet sitting and dog walking from caring for family and friends pets to professional work and volunteering. I first started by looking after 2 of my aunties dogs back 6 years ago and have done ever since when they go on holiday. I also have a dog of my own named lola who is a 7 year old staffy. I then started volunteering 4 years ago at a rescue and rehoming centre taking on challenges such as walking, feeding and cleaning. In September 2018 i attended Askham Bryan college were i studied an animal management level 3 diploma receiving a grade pass in June 2019. Whilst at college i took on a job role as an animal care assistant in a boarding kennels were i looked after peoples dogs and cats while they were away on holiday. In this job role my duties included daily walking and exercising the dogs, feeding both dogs and cats, daily enrichments, cleaning and sometimes bathing and grooming if required by the owner. My future plans are to open a doggie day care and pet cafe close to were i live which planning has been started.

About: Hi, I’m Kyle and I’m a huge dog lover. Due to work commitments, I’ve been unable to get a dog of my own, so have joined Rover in the hope of being able to look after dogs and find some snack/nap partners! I own my own house which is well looked after. It has a medium sized fully-fenced garden, perfect for dogs to stretch their legs in. I’ve grew up with dogs my whole life, and look after friends dogs too. I’m a pushover when it comes to treats, but I’m sure your dog won’t complain! About: I have completed various qualifications to help me provide the best care possible for your pet, including animal management, dog first aid, canine communication, ultimate puppy training and lead and recall training. Dogs have always been a huge passion of mine and I had many different breeds as a child.
