“Rachel was brilliant with our elderly cat, giving medication with her food and keeping us updated. She left the place lovely and tidy and even cleaned up where the cat was sick so that we were completely unable to see where it had happened. We were initially a bit nervous about having someone we didn't know staying in our home, but everything went brilliantly. Our cat was very happy to have someone around and looked nice and cosy on the photos sent to us. Will definitely use Rachel again.”

About: Growing up and throughout my whole life I’ve had dogs ranging in size and personality from Yorkshire terriers to Rottweilers! Until a couple of years ago I had a collie X German Shepard called Kira, she was a serious bundle of energy and nothing made me happier than unclipping her lead and watching her explode with joy. I no longer have Kira or the home/worklife balance to have a dog full time but I do have the capacity to care for other dogs on a more temporary basis. A friend suggest Rover and here I am! I currently offer dog walks & home checks - we can tailor walks and factor in any requirements to suit both you and your pets needs I work a day shift for my bread and butter work. I have evenings and some weekend free for dog walking & house calls. I’m looking to potentially set consistent days for dog care although being new to this I’m figuring out what work best all round. Right now I don’t offer overnight dog stays or for me to stay overnight in a pet owners home. I’m currently offering pet home check ins and walking only.

About: Ive taken care of all sizes of dogs my entire life. I know the warning signs and if you leave me the information of your vet and your phone number if anything happens I can call them and then you to make sure your pet gets the right care. I know how to handle teething puppies and especially how to settle the crying at night haha! I can sit with them as they pee or eat and make sure they arent lonely and I know how to make them take their meds even if they dont love taking them ahah! I think my hyper vigilance and knowledge of dogs makes me a perfect fit for anyone worried about their anxious baby This is my main priority at the moment. My love for animals means I will always put the effort in to make your pets the happiest they can be I will sit with your pets as they eat if needed, or while they go to the bathroom, give them lots of cuddles on the sofa and make sure they take their medicine! I know the warning signs for health problems and know what to do in an event of an emergency. I will always call you and make sure you know whats going on.

About: Hi, we are Pete & Emma. Having had pets throughout child and adulthood, we are both well versed in the thoughts that go through your mind when looking to find someone just like you to look after your furry loved ones. We share our lives with 'Sirius' a Dalmation we adopted at the age of 1 and it was important for us to know we had someone we could build a relationship with, if we ever needed a service! That's why we joined - for you hopefully! We walk our own dog a minimum of twice a day, once in the morning by Emma and once in the evening by Pete. Walks generally last a minimum of 30minutes. Pete works from home so there is always someone around, on weekends we usually get out for a longer walk together on a Sunday. So pet care fits nicely into the routine we are able to maintain! We have a fenced garden and a door to the garden is left open throughout the day in summer, during colder months toilet breaks are as often as needed. We are in close proximity to large fields for regular exercise. Pets within our home are welcome In all rooms where they will find a comfy spot to snooze.

About: I’m experienced in handling large dogs (any size/breed welcome) and have a deep understanding of the needs and quirks of anxious and reactive dogs and the care and patience they require through my experience with my extremely nervous rescue German Shepherd who was in very bad mental and physical condition when I adopted him. Sadly, he passed at the end of 2024 after many happy years together. Personally, I found it extremely difficult to trust others to walk or care for him during our time together so I’d like to reassure those in a similar position that I can take care of their best friend when they need it and I’ll always be as careful, understanding and vigilant as I was with my own. My garden is secure with full, well-maintained fences and walls and a padlocked gate, I have blinds on all public facing windows which can be closed if dogs are triggered by people walking by. Everyone is welcome to supply any toys, beds or anything that makes your dog feel more comfortable and of course I will stick to their usual walking schedule and dietary requirements. I live directly next to a large park which is not typically very busy and offers numerous trails from the main paths to avoid others when caring for reactive dogs. I will never let anyone’s dog off the lead during a walk (unless I have booked a secure field) and always clip leads to a strong walking belt as extra security, walk in shaded areas on hot days and carry water at all times. I mainly work from home so when boarding and pet sitting your dog will be with me all day with regular opportunities to play, go in the garden and for walks in the morning, lunch time and evening. I’m available for walks morning, lunchtime and evenings during the week and all day Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I only care for dogs from the same household on walks and in my home unless they are friends who have already spent time together. This is for the best possible wellbeing of each dog. I’d rather provide quality and complete confidence than take on as many dogs as possible as I believe in giving them the individual care and attention they deserve with as few stressful triggers as possible. I work from home so dogs will not be left unattended or outside for prolonged periods. I only endorse the use of positive reinforcement / reward-based training and treat all dogs with respect, understanding and care tailored to their specific needs. I’m happy to discuss your requirements, answer any questions and arrange a pre-stay meet and greet if required. I have also completed a certified DBS check through my employer.

About: I’m Sian and I’m my late 30s and I work from home. In 2024, I sadly lost my beloved 11-year-old German Shepherd and am now looking for dogs to share in some daily walks and enjoy some doggy companionship. I have plenty of experience with dogs, as they’ve always been a part of my family, and have had 2 rescue dogs of my own, so have lots of experience with anxious pooches. Don’t have any children, so I have plenty of time and attention to give. I love hiking and would be thrilled to have a dog join me on outdoor adventures! I work from home all week so I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your animals. Happy to have them overnight too! Don’t have any children and a big house and garden, so plenty of space to run around and play. Your dog will love running around or chilling at my house.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was about 9 years old, including three dogs and a cat. I took on the role of main dog walker, making sure our pups were well-exercised, bathed, and fed with love. Three years ago, my dog and I completed a 6-week puppy training course, where I picked up a variety of techniques for handling dogs and encouraging good behavior. I’ve cared for senior dogs who need a bit more time, patience, and attention—whether it’s during a walk or a quick drop-in visit—and I’m just as comfortable with energetic puppies too. Every dog is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know their unique personalities. I currently work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility during the day to take your furry friends on walks and pop in for visits whenever needed. About: The service I am providing is what I love to do, animals are amazing and I get along with if it’s playing and keeping them active then I can do that or if they are a little older I can care for their needs and to make sure they are well fed and watered, I have many pets over the years and I’ve loved them all, I love taking them on big walks and I take extra care when sitting around with your pets I will stick to their specific needs and male sure they are as happy as they can be. I have dog sat for many off my family and friends and find it quite relaxing as me and the dogs tend to just get on like a house on fire. I can for the pet care into my routine anytime, as pets come first in my eyes, I will make time to make sure they feel extra special as I do with my own pets I can cater to the needs of each individual pet as and when required too, with my own pets one needs crating when we go out, and the other can roam free.

About: I have owned dogs all my life. I have a whippet cross currently and my parents have a patterdale that I look after regularly. I have an understanding with all kinds of dogs especially reactive! I mainly work evening/night shifts so have a lot of time through the day for walking/spending time with my dog. He’s very dog friendly so would love some new friends. I have a fully fenced back garden, and my dog is very dog friendly. However I do have the time for dogs that need to be alone also.

About: I have many years of experience in both pet sitting and dog walking from caring for family and friends pets to professional work and volunteering. I first started by looking after 2 of my aunties dogs back 6 years ago and have done ever since when they go on holiday. I also have a dog of my own named lola who is a 7 year old staffy. I then started volunteering 4 years ago at a rescue and rehoming centre taking on challenges such as walking, feeding and cleaning. In September 2018 i attended Askham Bryan college were i studied an animal management level 3 diploma receiving a grade pass in June 2019. Whilst at college i took on a job role as an animal care assistant in a boarding kennels were i looked after peoples dogs and cats while they were away on holiday. In this job role my duties included daily walking and exercising the dogs, feeding both dogs and cats, daily enrichments, cleaning and sometimes bathing and grooming if required by the owner. My future plans are to open a doggie day care and pet cafe close to were i live which planning has been started.

About: Acquired Canine Care Qualifications: Ofqual regulated Level 2 Award in Canine Care and Behaviour. I've always loved dogs, probably especially due to growing up with my best friend, Sam, who was a gentle giant; a german shepherd crossed with a Labrador. He taught me the love of a dog from the moment he joined our family. My family have always taught me that dogs (and any other pets) are part of the family and should be treated as such. I will adjust the energy i put out to suit the dog i am with at the time, for example, for an older friend who seems like they just want a nice stroll and then a bit of a relax- i'll give them just that! Your canine pals will always be safe and happy with me. My first experience of being the sole person responsible for a dog was when i was 12 and my mum got a staffie, Ronnie. He was also a gentle giant and i cared for him the best i could. He lived a long, happy life but sadly died of old age earlier this year. In my time so far, i've been lucky enough to have these animals as part of my family at some point or another: dogs, fish, rabbits, hamsters, budgies, cats and a pigeon (he was injured so we took him in until he was all healed up and then he just.. stayed). I am often friends' and family's first choice for looking after their dog while they're away and i absolutely love doing it! I am available many hours of the week and can provide some flexibility where others may not be able to. Hopefully this will help some of you who maybe can't give definite times. I rent a house with my partner, Ollie, who is very dog friendly :) I'll make sure your dog receives at least a 30 minute walk as a general rule, however I am happy to arrange a more specific length of time suited for you and your dog.
