I work from home everyday so I have plenty of time to give the attention your pet needs I work from home everyday - can walk as many times as is required! If your pet has a strict routine I will do my best to accommodate to it I have a secured, fenced garden and live on a quiet street. About: Hi, how are you and your beloved little friend? 
 I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember, living with them since I was about 4 years old and caring for both common and more exotic pets. I’ve lived with most types of animals you can imagine, including rabbits, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, cats, and dogs. Growing up surrounded by animals thanks to my grandparents helped me become very comfortable, attentive, and adaptable to different needs and personalities. I’ve had several pets over the years, and I currently have a cat, so I understand the level of care, patience, and responsibility pets require. I’ve also started volunteering in my area, helping to look after dogs, which has given me even more hands-on experience. Friends, family, and people around me trust me to care for their pets, whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or simply keeping them company. I’m confident with both energetic and calm pets, and I can also help reinforce basic training and good behaviour. What sets me apart is my versatility, patience, and genuine love for animals. I’m attentive to each pet’s routine and personality, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I am also currently working towards saving for university, which motivates me to provide a responsible and reliable service if needed. At the moment, I am available most of the time for all types of pet care services, as it is currently the summer holidays. This means I have a lot of free time and flexibility to dedicate to your pet, whether it is for walks, daycare, boarding, or any other care needs. I really enjoy being able to spend this time focusing on animals and giving them the attention they deserve. Occasionally, I may also look after young children during this period, but I still remain highly available and flexible throughout the week. Please note that I will not be available from 14–21 July and 14–21 August. Additional services can also be arranged upon request, as I am always open to helping where needed and finding different ways to save for university while doing something I genuinely enjoy. I always prioritise the safety, comfort and wellbeing of every pet in my care, whether they are staying in my home or I am visiting theirs. I follow each owner’s instructions closely and make sure I understand their pet’s routine, needs and any specific requirements before starting any service. In my home, I provide a calm and supervised environment. I live with a friendly and calm cat who is used to being around other animals and generally adapts well. When introducing a new pet, I take things slowly and allow them time to settle in comfortably at their own pace. I also like to use familiar items from home, such as a blanket or toy, to help them feel more secure in a new environment. I do not have a fenced garden, so all outdoor time is always supervised. Dogs are taken out regularly for walks and exercise, including nearby parks such as Ruskin Park, which is just a short 5 min walk away. I ensure pets are always safely on lead unless otherwise agreed by the owner. When caring for pets in the owner’s home, I respect their space and routine, making sure the pet feels secure and comfortable in their familiar environment. I am careful, responsible and always attentive, ensuring doors, feeding routines and safety instructions are strictly followed. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own and aim to provide a safe, calm and trustworthy environment at all times.

About: I’ve had family dogs my whole life. I’m used to looking after dogs for family and friends. Live in a flat with a garden and have access to Brockwell park for daytime walks. I work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays and have a flexible schedule. I live in a flat with a garden and am only 10 minute walk away from Brockwell park for daytime walks. My boyfriend also lives with me and has had family dogs his whole life. I have a fenced garden and open plan living area ideal for a dog to stay in. I currently don’t have any pets so can give your dog all the love and attention it needs.

I treat your home with the utmost respect by following these guidelines: Clear Boundaries: I will only enter the specific rooms you authorise, such as the kitchen or main living areas. Secure Home Access: I am happy to handle house keys for holiday bookings. I keep them secure and will always ensure your doors are locked and alarms are set properly at the end of every visit. Daily Updates: I can send regular photo updates so you always have peace of mind while you are away.

“Mayra was a great choice as a substitute dog walker while our usual one was away on holiday. She came round and quickly bonded with our five year old border terrier Olive. Mayra adapted her walking schedule and activities to fit in with our needs. Olive went out daily for long, energetic walks with lots of ball games which kept our little bundle of fun fit and happy. Mayra gave regular updates on Rover about times of pick up/drop off/routes taken and photos of our happy dog. Would highly recommend.”

About: I have had dogs all my life and have experience taking care of dogs of all ages, from puppies to senior dogs, and dogs with anxiety or that require medication. Besides my own two childhood Shih-Tzus, I've cared for many different breeds, including Poodle mixes, French bulldogs, Schnauzers, Labs, and Akitas. I was a sitter with TrustedHousesitters for a year and pet-sat across the UK until I settled in London. Now that I have my own flat, I would love to have dogs in my life, whether it's taking them on a walk or boarding them overnight. I work at a bookshop 3 days a week (normally two weekdays and one weekend day) and am given my exact schedule 2 weeks ahead of time. On a workday, I would be out of the house for about 8 hours, but if your dog is small and well-trained, it is welcome to come to work with me. My flat has an enclosed courtyard/garden area big enough for getting the zoomies out and convenient for a quick toilet break. If your dog enjoys longer walks or playing outside, I would take them to Brockwell Park, about a 10-minute walk away. Pets would have free rein of the flat when I am home.
