“Cooper seems to have enjoyed his first walk with Daiane. He looked really happy on the lovely pictures she provided! Daiane seems passionate and eager! She responded to messages well and was always in good contact throughout. I definitely will use her again!”

About: My husband and I have our own two-year-old schnoodle, I was a regular Borrow My Doggy borrower before getting her and I've had a family dog my whole life. I would love to meet yours! I work from home most of time so am free for full day care at my home or drop-ins/walks at lunchtimes, before/after work (timings flexible). I have a secure garden (tested by my own dog!) and happy for dogs to be on the furniture. My own dog is playful, friendly and always happy to have company.

About: I am a former teacher now working in tutoring and book publishing. I volunteer for two animal rescue charities, The Stray Cat Club and Protected Paws, driving them to vet appointments and their fur-ever homes. I have owned cats my whole life and currently have 3 - one senior, one mama cat and one baby! I’m experienced in feeding, grooming and changing litter. I have dealt with spicy cats, nervous cats and strays. At university, I also got into dog sitting. We would walk and work from client’s houses to take care of their dogs. I often dog sit for my dad and family friends and enjoy going for walks with the pups! I work from home flexibly twice a week but only need to go into work at 9:30 so have plenty of time for morning visits. I drive so am able to get around my local area with ease. I’m an early riser and late sleeper so can be flexible around your pet’s schedule. My pets are my pride and joy and want for nothing! Cat trees, fancy litter trays and raised bowls? Sorted. I know how it feels to want to go the extra mile for your furry friends and I’d take care of them as my own.
About: I’ve had and grown up with dogs all my life. We’ve had working dogs, elderly dogs, bred puppies and even have a special needs dog, so I’ve experienced a real mix and feel comfortable with all types. I’m patient, attentive and understand that every dog has their own needs and personality. Since moving to London I’ve really missed being around dogs, so I’d love to spend time caring for yours and making sure they feel safe, happy and well looked after while you’re away. I currently work full time and work remotely 3 out 5 days a week. My office days are Wednesday and Thursday but I live with 3 other housemates who will be in during those days. I am an early riser and very active (living by tooting common helps) so your pet will be well exercised if needed. We have a fenced in garden and no other pets in the house. We live in a 3 story Victorian house with lots of big rooms so have room for a crate if needed too.
“Jessica is great with Nala. I feel totally worry free when I’m at work that she’s being very well taken care of. I was delighted when Jessica told me she’d even refilled Nala’s water bowl whilst I was at work.”

“Michael & Ross do a wonderful job walking our Jack Russell! They have been so easy to work with, flexible, reliable, and have provided pictures and cute updates of her adventures with them!”

“Ellie has been very reliable and easy to deal with. She’s quick to respond, follows instructions carefully (even the slightly fussy ones!) and Oscar has taken to her well. It’s reassuring to know he’s well looked after, and I’d happily recommend her.”

About: My dog journey began when working at a local community park cafe - welcoming the regulars and their dogs was the highlight of the day! I’ve regularly cared for my brother’s dog which has been a great joy. Maisie has kept me on my toes and I’ve deployed a warm, attentive and caring style to keep her safe and happy. I am currently on a career break so have plenty of time and flexibility during the week to take the best care of your dog - morning, afternoon or evening. My services are currently dog walking only for now, so I won’t be hosting any dogs at my home or staying at the dog owners home.

In My Home: - Secure Environment: Ground floor flat with fully enclosed garden - no risk of escapes and safe outdoor access - Pet-Proofed Space: My home is already dog-ready with all hazards removed and pet-safe areas established - Supervised Socialisation: Lucy is well-trained and friendly, but I always supervise interactions to ensure both dogs are comfortable - Established Routines:Regular meal times, walks, and play sessions to maintain structure - Family: Husband and 2 teenage children (17 and 14) living at home. I take time to learn your dog’s specific preferences, comfort zones, and any behavioral quirks to ensure they feel completely at home with us.

About: Hello! My name is Niamh and I live in SW London with my partner, Andy and our 2-year old Welsh Springer Spaniel, Murphy (he's the little red and white guy in my profile picture). Andy and I both grew up with dogs as kids and we're pretty easy going as owners- dogs are allowed on the furniture and upstairs etc. (provided they pay the cheese tax, of course). Murph usually spends his day curled up like a croissant or on neighbourhood watch from the back of the sofa while we work. We work from home most of the week and have Tooting Common right at the bottom of our road (60-second walk) so given we're in there every day, at least once per day, and our flat is quite spacious, we thought it would be nice for a furry pal to join us during the day, for a weekend, or simply for a walk on the Common. We take Murph out at lunch and play with him constantly throughout the day but thought a playmate would potentially be more fun for him (and them)! Murph is great with other dogs and has only every been playful and good-tempered towards them. :) I work full-time, often from home and flexibly. I could look after your pet for a full day, evening, for a full week or weekend... and they would have a furry playmate! I live in an upstairs flat over 2.5 floors, lots of comfy spots for your dog to have a snooze and we have Tooting Common at the bottom of our road- we're in there every day!
About: I grew up with plenty of pets at home, name it we likely had it, even ferrets. I've always been the go to person for friends and family pet care needs, from puppies to ageing dogs and cats. I'm very confident with pets and know they need to time and space sometimes and each have their own unique personalities and care requirements. I work part time Mon - Wed but predominantly work from home and can be quite flexible. I enjoy getting up for early morning walks, during lunch times and after work. Having just a 5min play or cuddle whilst working always helps the work day go quickly. I have a two bedroom flat which I share with my rescue cat Mimi and partner has a good amount of space if the pet needs to be put in a crate. There is a private fenced garden. I also live close to lots of parks and green open space which is good for walks.
About: I grew up with pet dogs and cats and love being around animals. Due to work, I can’t currently have my own pets but am available to dog sit, walk and board on various days through the week. I work from home 3 days per week but have a flexible schedule that allows for plenty of attention and walks for your dog. Also happy to have overnight occasionally if needed. I live in a secure quiet flat with a small balcony but with plenty of communal garden space where dogs can run around. I am also very near several lovely parks and commons so your pet will get a good walk!
About: I had dogs whilst growing up and frequently help out friends when they need dog sitters so have first hand experience of caring and looking after a pet - be this walks, feed, play and wash time! My best friends dogs I have been around since they were puppies, and when back in my hometown I often take them out for a walk/run - as can be seen in the picture! I also have a broad range of experience from work experience as I volunteered across kennels, vets and stables. I work full time but in a flexible working environment - generally I am in the office 2-3 days per week with Tuesdays and Fridays being my core days at home. With wfh this allows me the opportunity to help care for others pets where I have the options to go out for short and long walks through the day. I live by myself so there would be no exposure to other pets/humans in the home, and in a one bed flat with open plan living / kitchen space. There is plenty of space for a pet bed and space to roam. I wfh in the main room so would always be present. I have a fenced private garden and also live 500m from commons so plenty of places to walk and have fresh air!
About: I had a family Labradoodle from the age of 15 who I adored, but also have experience looking after friends and family’s lovely dogs of all sizes! I spend most days working from home so would love some four-legged company and the ability to go out for nice long walks. I work full-time but quite flexibly so would be able to give a lot of care and attention to a dog during the work day. I’d also be able to get out either before work or during lunch for a long walk! I have a spacious flat and large fenced garden so lots of room for play. I’ve lived here over a year now but in that time have had three dogs stay with us more than once! I also live close to a large common, perfect for dog walks and exercise.
Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Streatham
Natasha is an amazing dog sitter! I trust her truly , and I always feel at ease knowing Kubra, is in her care. She is kind, reliable, and genuinely loves dogs. Kubra is always happy and excited to see her. I honestly wish I could keep her all to myself because she’s that good, but she deserves all the recommendations in the world. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter and would highly recommend Natasha to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring! 🥰😊🧡

Emily has been wonderful with my dog, Zaya. As a nervous rescue, Zaya can be easily frightened by loud noises, so earning her trust takes a lot of patience and understanding. Emily has been incredibly kind, calm, and caring, helping Zaya grow in confidence at her own pace. It's lovely to see how relaxed, happy, and comfortable she is with Emily now. While we have occasionally found Friday arrangements a little difficult to coordinate, this has never detracted from the excellent care Emily provides. Overall, we're very grateful for her patience, dedication, and the positive impact she has had on Zaya.

Mayra was a great choice as a substitute dog walker while our usual one was away on holiday. She came round and quickly bonded with our five year old border terrier Olive. Mayra adapted her walking schedule and activities to fit in with our needs. Olive went out daily for long, energetic walks with lots of ball games which kept our little bundle of fun fit and happy. Mayra gave regular updates on Rover about times of pick up/drop off/routes taken and photos of our happy dog. Would highly recommend.

Helene has been absolutely fantastic with our Weimaraner, Trevor! He took to her immediately and it was obvious from the start that she has a real way with dogs. She walks Trevor for us every week and has also completed two house sits, both of which have been excellent experiences. We’ve always come home to a happy, well-cared-for dog. Helene is reliable, thoughtful, clean, and incredibly courteous. We trust her completely and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pets !!
