I work from home most days, so pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I’m available for walks, day care, overnight stays and longer visits, including weekdays and weekends. Your dog will have plenty of company, attention and consistency throughout the day, with regular walks (especially to Clapham Common) built in as part of my daily rhythm.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s comfort and safety are my priority. I provide a calm, secure home environment and only care for one dog at a time, so they have my full attention and aren’t overwhelmed. I take time to understand each dog’s routine, preferences and any specific needs before their stay, so I can keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible. I stick closely to feeding, walking and sleeping routines and will always check in if anything feels out of the ordinary. My flat has a large, secure terrace and additional secure outdoor space, and I’m very mindful of doors, access and surroundings at all times. I’m also happy to provide regular updates, photos and videos so you feel completely reassured while you’re away.

***Note: If you are new to Rover, you may be able to use my Rover promo code (michez59025) which will give you £15 off your first booking.*** HELLO! I’m a lifelong dog lover based between Clapham Common and North (SW4), offering a calm, safe and genuinely caring home for your dog. I’ve grown up with dogs and regularly dog sit for friends, often for longer stays (1–2 weeks) both in my home and theirs. I’m also a proud “Auntie” to: • Lola, a 4-year-old MaltesePoo who is fiesty and full of energy • Boomer, a gentle 9-year-old Sprollie. I’ve cared for since she was 3 months old. What makes my care different: I don’t just “watch” dogs, I care for them as individuals. I take the time to understand their routine, personality and needs so they feel settled, safe and genuinely happy. A calm and attentive environment: • I work from home most days, so your dog will have plenty of company and supervision • I have a large, secure L-shaped terrace plus additional secure outdoor space in the complex where I live • I’m a very short walk from Clapham Common for regular walks and stimulation One dog at a time: I only look after one dog at a time (unless they are from the same household). This ensures your dog gets my full attention and a calm, stress-free environment. Best suited to: My home is best suited to smaller and medium-sized dogs, but all dogs in my care will get proper walks, attention and enrichment. Peace of mind for you: I’m very happy to share regular updates, photos and videos so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well looked after. Above all, I’m reliable, calm and intuitive with dogs. They tend to warm to me quickly, and I take that trust seriously. I’m not quite in a position to have my own dog yet, so this is something I genuinely love doing. Your dog will be treated like they’re my own from the moment they arrive. If you’re looking for a safe, calm and genuinely caring home for your dog, I’d love to hear from you 🐶
Reviews

Thank you Michelle for taking such care of Ivy. We really look forward to your regular updates on how her afternoon with you is going. You make really interesting observations of Ivy and take the most perfect photos of her looking her cutest.

Michelle has been absolutely wonderful for both Magnum and us. We met her at very short notice, and she immediately put us at ease with her warm and professional approach. Magnum spent a couple of days with Michelle and returned happy, relaxed, and in great form. She has a natural understanding of dogs and treats them with the utmost care, respect, and kindness. Michelle was also incredibly communicative throughout, keeping us updated and reassured, which is something we value greatly. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and are so grateful for the excellent care she provided.

Michelle was very accommodating to Ivy's needs. It was Ivy's first time with Michelle so she was quite anxious at the beginning but warmed to Michelle as the afternoon went on, Michelle updated me regularly with messages and photos. We hope to see Michelle very soon :)
Michelle was honestly a lifesaver! My dog is my everything, so I was a little nervous leaving my Little Candy, she’s quite anxious and really needs a calm, safe presence around her. By day two, she was completely back to herself and settled into her routine, enjoying her belly rubs, and feeling at ease. Michelle took her on her daily walks, including longer trips to the park. Michelle was very attentive to her needs and treated Candy with so much love and care. I also loved the daily updates, with photos and messages letting me know how she was doing, putting my mind at ease. I’d highly recommend Michelle, and I’d happily leave my Little Candy with her again any day!
