Availability
I'm currently between roles while I settle into London, so I have flexible daytime availability - ideal for pets who'd otherwise be home alone during the day. Job interviews come up now and then, but usually just for a few hours, so I can work around them easily. - Weekdays (mornings/afternoons): most open, great for walks or daytime visits. - Evenings: available, sometimes with a little more notice. - Weekends: flexible for walks, sitting, or boarding.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety always comes first. Gates, doors, and leads stay secure, and pets are never left unattended during walks or visits. I introduce animals gradually and watch their body language closely, especially with nervous or reactive pets, so nothing feels rushed. Food, water, and bedding are kept clean and comfortable, and I keep your contact and vet details on hand in case of any concern. I know trusting someone new with your pet is a big step, especially while I'm still getting to know the area, so I'm always happy to start with a meet-and-greet and go at a pace that works for you both. I'll also keep you updated with photos throughout.

Pet care experience
I've been around animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up in South Africa in a home that always had at least one dog and one cat, often more. All of ours were adopted rather than bought, so I've always had a soft spot for rescue animals and understand that some pets come with a bit more history, and sometimes a bit more patience needed, than others. My hands-on experience includes: - Growing up with adopted dogs and cats of different ages, breeds, and temperaments. - Volunteering at animal shelters including the SPCA and Pet Pals throughout high school and university. This covered everything from daily walks and cleaning to simply sitting with and comforting animals who'd been abandoned or were struggling to adjust. - Regularly walking and looking after dogs belonging to friends and family, including sticking to specific feeding schedules, medication routines, and exercise needs. - Managing multiple animals at once, so I'm confident with group dynamics and differing personalities. - Working with nervous, anxious, or reactive animals - years of shelter volunteering taught me how much calm, patient handling matters, and how important it is to read an animal's body language rather than rush an introduction. I take routines seriously - if your pet eats at a certain time, walks a certain route, or has a particular quirk, I'll stick to it. I'm especially comfortable with rescue pets and animals who need a bit of extra reassurance, having spent years around exactly that. Since moving to Greenwich, I'm looking forward to getting to know the local pets and becoming a familiar, reliable face in the area. Happy to do an introductory meet-and-greet first, and I always send photo or video updates so you know exactly how your pet's day is going.

Reviews
Jenna was so caring towards my two cats, going the extra mile to ensure one of my cats got her medication when she wasn't feeling hungry. Jenna kept me updated both through reports on rover and also via WhatsApp. Highly recommend and am gutted she's moved out of this area so we can't rebook her every time!

Really kind and communicative. Booking her again next week - recommend!
My spaniel loves Jenna. She's reliable, friendly and trustworthy. I've had a great experience with her pet-sitting as well as walking. Would definitely recommend her to anyone!
I've known Jenna since she was 13 years old - I work with her mum, and over the years I've spent a lot of time in their home, including their home office, which has meant watching Jenna grow up alongside her family's animals. What's always struck me is how naturally she's cared for animals, not just her own but others too. She's never treated it as a chore - she genuinely lights up around dogs and cats, and it's clear in how patient and attentive she is with them, whether they're confident and boisterous or shy and unsure of her. Thirteen years of knowing her, I've never once seen that change. Jenna is warm, responsible, and has a real gift for making animals feel comfortable and safe with her. I'd trust her without any hesitation with my own pets, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog walker or pet sitter.
