“Ashleigh has been a breath of fresh air - straightforward and easy to deal with, she’s looked after my mum’s dog with great care and gone the extra mile to make sure everything is right, couldn’t ask for more!”

About: After many years in the corporate world, I recently retired and decided it was finally time to do something I genuinely love, caring for dogs. Dogs have been a huge part of my life, at one point I had four of my own. Caring for them through every stage of life has given me extensive hands-on experience particularly with rescue and senior dogs who need extra patience, understanding and care. Although I am new to Rover, I have spent many years looking after friends' dogs while they travelled, I understand how important it is for owners knowing that dogs are safe, relaxed, cared for. Your dog will stay in a spacious four bedroom house with a large secure garden. Dogs are welcome throughout the house, this is very much a home from home environment with no restrictions on where they can relax or sleep. There are comfortable dog beds around the house, plenty of sofa options if they prefer or my own bed if they so wish. I am fortunate to have four parks within walking distance of my home but I also regularly drive to larger walking areas and country parks where there is more space, quieter routes and plenty of shade during warmer weather. The walks are always tailored to the individual dog I am caring for. The younger and energetic can enjoy adventure walks, while older or senior dogs are given a gentler pace with shorter but more frequent walk. This is not just a business venture for me, it's an opportunity to spend time doing something I really love, giving dogs a caring comfortable home and their owners complete peace of mind. i almost forgot, I am insured and DBS checked. I am at home full time so fully adaptable to your dog's routine. I do have my own dog, she gets two walks a day. The boarded dog would have a minimum of two walk as well, more if needed. 4 bedroom house in Brockley with large secure garden. Many parks all around me. I very often head off to Kent for adventure and beach walks.
“Ana and Paul came and met Millie ahead of the booking. Asked all the relevant questions about Millie’s routine and keen to ensure that they would meet her needs. Millie had two days of dog walking with them. Lots of photos and feedback if the walks sent. Excellent communication and house keys safely returned to me.”
About: I grew up with a large dog and since then have been taking care of friends’ dogs and dogs of all sizes from borrow my doggy and now Rover I only work part time as I’m studying for a Masters so I’m often at home and my schedule is flexible and easy to fit around a dog’s needs. I don’t have any pets of my own so can provide a calm environment for your pet. I’m happy to look after dogs in owner’s homes or at my flat which is spacious, however, doesn’t have a garden so I would provide regular toilet breaks and walks.

“This was our first time using Larissa’s services, and we couldn’t be more pleased. She was absolutely fantastic with my dogs, Georgia and Brenda, and made the whole experience completely stress-free. From the start, Larissa was caring, reliable, and attentive, treating them as if they were her own. Both Georgia and Brenda clearly felt comfortable with her straight away, which says a lot. She is punctual, professional, and kept me updated throughout, which I really appreciated. It gave me complete peace of mind knowing they were in such capable hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Larissa to anyone looking for a trustworthy and genuinely kind dog walker. She truly goes above and beyond!”

“Adrian is an outstanding recurring dog walker for our large puppy. Renn can be quite strong and excitable, but Adrian handles him with calm confidence and real skill. He’s always punctual and completely reliable, which gives us great peace of mind. Communication is excellent—Adrian keeps us updated, lets us know how each walk goes, and is quick to respond to any messages. It’s clear he genuinely understands dogs and adapts his approach to suit their needs. Renn absolutely loves his walks with Adrian, and we’ve noticed a positive difference in his behaviour, confidence and energy levels. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Adrian to anyone looking for a trustworthy, capable, and professional dog walker.”

“Bryn had an amazing time in the snow with Amanda! We really appreciated her expertise with larger and strong dogs and are so pleased to find a friendly and experienced safe pair of hands for walks with him going forwards.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family since I was a kid. I have also had my own animals and have experience with dogs and cats of all ages. I am reliable, caring, and absolutely love animals! I am very active and enjoy walks as well as playing with animals to keep them entertained. I currently work full time with 3 days being from home. I can do walks before work, at lunch or after work. I can also come and look after your pet for the day if I work from your home. I can come into your home and can quickly learn your pets routine, what their needs are and what is needed of me as a sitter.
About: Dogs have been a part of my life since childhood. My very first dog joined our family when I was 8 years old in Spain and she became like a sister to me, being a single child myself. We spent 14 wonderful years together. Since then, I’ve continued caring for dogs in both London and Brighton, looking after friends’ pets ranging from small to medium breeds such as greyhounds, whippets, Brussels griffons, lurchers, and more. I’m comfortable with energetic puppies who need patience and playtime, as well as older dogs who may require gentler handling or extra care. Because of my personal and hands-on experience, I know how important it is to provide affection, consistency, and a safe environment that makes each dog feel secure and loved. What sets me apart is my commitment to treating every dog as if they were my own giving them not just the basics of feeding and walking, but also companionship and care tailored to their needs. I am an academic and work from home, which allows me the flexibility to devote plenty of time and attention to your dog during the week. From Monday to Friday, I can adapt walks, play, and feeding times around your pet’s routine. The only exceptions are when I need to travel for work or visit family in Spain for holidays. We live in a comfortable two-bedroom flat with a spacious living room and a balcony. Our home provides a safe environment for pets to feel at ease. Just a short walk away are lovely green spaces such as Hilly Fields, Brockley Cemetery, and Ladywell Fields perfect for long walks and some outdoor playtime. I take safety and trust seriously: I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep to your dog’s routine, and send regular updates with photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away. Whether in my home or yours, my priority is to create a warm, secure, and caring environment where your dog feels happy and loved.
About: This year I looked after a lot of pets, both cats and dogs around London, Bristol and Cornwall . I enjoyed this experience tremendously and I also learned a lot about behavior of the animals both cats and dogs. I was a cat owner some years ago and I realised how much I missed interacting with animals. I also regularly cat sit my friend's cats when she is away. I would be delighted to look after your pet while you are away and also take your dog for a regular walks. I am working part-time as a tutor in a University. I am also an artist and often have flexibility with my work. I really like animals and it's a very joyful experience to look after a dog or a cat. I would take the instructions from the pet owner and do exactly what they normally would do with their cat or a dog. I will also try my best to be sensitive and attentive to the pet.
“We’re so pleased to have found Steve on Rover to take Bryn for walks. From the outset, Steve has been extremely responsive and took time out of his weekend to have a proper chat with us to understand Bryn’s needs. He then took that information on board to design a perfect walking environment with Bryn, making sure that he has time to run freely and to play with sticks and balls (his favourite!). We could see how much Bryn clearly already loves Steve given his enthusiastic greeting when Steve arrived for the second walk! Would 100pc recommend Steve to anyone!”

Andrea was TERRIFIC with my dog Lottie who fell in love with her. She was diligent time wise to ensure Lottie didn't get too hot. She kept us informed and sent lovely photos. Overall Lottie was very happy throughout the week. I would highly recommend anyone who needs help with dog walking or looking after asks for Andrea! I would have done this sooner but I've been on holiday.
Another fantastic experience with Michael! This is a repeat booking, and I am just as impressed as I was the first time. He came to my rescue at the very last minute, was incredibly accommodating, and made everything so easy. Having someone so reliable and flexible is an enormous help and an absolute pleasure. What has amazed me most is the bond he has built with Monty in such a short space of time. Michael shared videos of their walks, and I was genuinely gobsmacked to see how engaged Monty was. By day two, his recall was down to a T, he was happily playing ball, following instructions, and clearly focused on Michael. Given that Monty is still young and can occasionally get distracted, this was particularly impressive. Michael has a wonderful way with dogs. Monty absolutely loves him, and it is obvious that the feeling is mutual. I would not hesitate to recommend him and will certainly continue booking him whenever I can!

Johan was absolutely brilliant with my dogs. He took such lovely care of them, kept me updated, and even made a beautiful video and took amazing photos from their walk, which was so lovely to see. My dogs looked happy and comfortable, and I really appreciated how kind and patient he was with them. He and his partner were both great with my girls, and I felt completely reassured leaving them in his care. I’ll definitely be booking again and would highly recommend him.

This was our first time using Larissa’s services, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Eleanor has been great with our cavapoo Crunchie, she has taken her for a number of early morning dog walks and is always punctual. Crunchie happily runs out of the door when she arrives - thank you for taking good care of her. We can happily recommend and will surely be back in touch in the future. Thank you

Charlie took excellent care of Ru while walking her for the first time today. Communication was excellent before and on the day, giving me total confidence while I was out at work. She was also very patient and understanding of Ru’s puppy behaviour. Thank you Charlie!

Really happy with the walk! Junhua were super nice and easy to talk to, and kept me updated the with photos and videos which I really appreciated. You can tell they genuinely care about dogs, she fill up Vaki’s water bowl before I mentioned, when they got back from the walk under such heat wave. Everything went smoothly and the communication was great from start to finish. Would definitely book again :)

Morwenna was absolutely wonderful with our dog, very knowledgeable and caring. Our dog loved her immediately and was happy and comfortable around her from the start. We felt completely at ease knowing our dog was in good hands and would happily recommend Morwenna to others.

Roan has taken my lively Golden Retriever, Koko, on two walks, and as it was our first time using a dog walker, I expected Koko might need a little coaxing to head out with someone new. That absolutely wasn’t the case with Roan! From the moment he walked through the door, Koko was so excited to meet him. He is clearly a natural with dogs, and Koko warmed to him immediately and happily headed off on her walk. Roan was attentive, responsive, and quick to reply to messages. When collecting Koko, he took the time to ask how long we wanted her walked for and was very mindful of the recent heat wave. On her second walk, he adjusted accordingly and took her on a slower walk around the block in the shade, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend Roan to anyone looking for a dog walker and will absolutely be using his services again in the future.
