Since I was a little girl I have loved animals , I have been lucky to raise and train my own dog from puppy to fully grown . I currently live with two beautiful cats so Am lucky to be surrounded by furry friends. I have looked after animals for many years , simply because I love them and animal welfare is so important to me , it brings me peace of mind when I know they are in safe hands I also come from a scientific background so have good knowledge and a personal interest in animal behaviour and psychology and believe it’s something paramount to optimal wellbeing of our animal friends. I love being outdoors and taking dogs on long walks , equally I am happy to cuddle or play with them at home. So long as the little one is happy I am happy and finally working with animals is not a chore nor does it feel like work , I enjoy it I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available for pet sitting on a full-time basis. This allows me to dedicate consistent, one-to-one time and attention to the animals in my care, rather than splitting my focus. My routine is structured around fitness, which means I naturally maintain a disciplined and active lifestyle. On the days I am caring for pets, I am able to prioritise their needs whether that’s regular walks, playtime, companionship, or simply being present to ensure they feel calm and secure. I live close to two large, safe parks which are ideal for dog walking, enrichment, and exercise. I also have access to a private back garden for additional outdoor time in a secure environment. Overall, I am able to offer a high level of availability, consistency, and attention, ensuring your pet is never left feeling unattended or unsettled. Providing a safe, calm, and secure environment is my top priority when caring for any animal whether in my home or in an owner’s home. My home is very pet-friendly, with no carpets and a layout that allows for easy cleaning and hygiene. There are secure doors and the ability to section off areas if needed, which is particularly useful for introducing animals gradually or keeping them separated for comfort and safety. I live with two friendly cats, and I have extensive experience managing multi-animal environments. However, I fully understand that not all animals are comfortable around others, so I am completely happy and confident separating pets. The house is set up with both upstairs and downstairs spaces, making it easy to keep animals apart in a calm and controlled way if required. There are no children in the home just myself and 2 other female house members who are all animal lovers. During the day, it is usually just me at home, though occasionally house members may be working quietly in separate rooms. The environment remains calm, predictable, and low-stress. Alongside my hands on experience, I have spent time independently learning about animal welfare, behaviour, and safety. I am confident in recognising signs of stress or discomfort and always aim to create an environment where animals feel secure and understood. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will fully respect your space and follow your routines closely to maintain familiarity for your pet. I understand how important consistency is, and I will ensure their usual feeding, walking, and care routines are followed as closely as possible. Most importantly, I prioritise your preferences as an owner. I am always open to guidance and happy to adapt to your pet’s specific needs, routines, and any training approaches you would like maintained. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is being cared for safely, thoughtfully, and with genuine attention.

About: I’m a big animal lover, I have been looking after friends and family’s dogs for many years. I also enjoy the company of cats! I have experience pet sitting with my partner in the past. I mostly work from home (except some evenings) which makes it easy for dogs to come stay for the day or overnight. I also have time throughout the day to take dogs on walks as my schedule is very flexible. I have a fenced off courtyard, and will ensure pets are kept safe within the flat. I will follow whatever instructions or requests you inform me of. If I’m coming to a pet owners home, I will be very respectful of your space.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and absolutely love having them around. I miss my family dog, who lives in Kent, so would love the chance to hang out with another dog. I know lots of great walks in the area and am super flexible with dates for looking after your best pal. Been using Borrow my Doggy to build up some clients, fairly new to Rover so have lowered my prices to help get started! I currently work from home 3 or 2 days a week and am flexible on weekends with enough notice. I have communal outdoor space at my flat and am happy to host here or at your house, whatever is easiest. I’m also happy to do morning and evening walks before/after work. Can easily host a dog for a day in my flat, communal outdoor space and lots of parks nearby. Equally happy to work remotely from your house if easier.

“Roan has taken my lively Golden Retriever, Koko, on two walks, and as it was our first time using a dog walker, I expected Koko might need a little coaxing to head out with someone new. That absolutely wasn’t the case with Roan! From the moment he walked through the door, Koko was so excited to meet him. He is clearly a natural with dogs, and Koko warmed to him immediately and happily headed off on her walk. Roan was attentive, responsive, and quick to reply to messages. When collecting Koko, he took the time to ask how long we wanted her walked for and was very mindful of the recent heat wave. On her second walk, he adjusted accordingly and took her on a slower walk around the block in the shade, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend Roan to anyone looking for a dog walker and will absolutely be using his services again in the future.”

About: Ive had animals in my home my whole life. I've been taking care of my pet cat Florence for the last 16 years. Even though i love all pets she is my fav. I've dogwalked and housesat for various friend's dogs, one of whom can be quite difficult... My cousins who live very near by to me also have a Collie who i often look after (he also lives with me when his parents go on holiday). He is a very high energy dog which is something i love because i never get tired of playing with him. Im a University of Manchester student on a course with low contact hours. This means i have lots of flexibility in my week. I also love being able to look after animals as it adds more structure to my week and helps me get out of my room instead of just studying all the time. Living in university accomodation can sometimes be stressful so i love being able to take a little staction to your home! I do however share my accomodation so i know how to clean up aftermyself!
