About: After many years in the corporate world, I recently retired and decided it was finally time to do something I genuinely love, caring for dogs. Dogs have been a huge part of my life, at one point I had four of my own. Caring for them through every stage of life has given me extensive hands-on experience particularly with rescue and senior dogs who need extra patience, understanding and care. Although I am new to Rover, I have spent many years looking after friends' dogs while they travelled, I understand how important it is for owners knowing that dogs are safe, relaxed, cared for. Your dog will stay in a spacious four bedroom house with a large secure garden. Dogs are welcome throughout the house, this is very much a home from home environment with no restrictions on where they can relax or sleep. There are comfortable dog beds around the house, plenty of sofa options if they prefer or my own bed if they so wish. I am fortunate to have four parks within walking distance of my home but I also regularly drive to larger walking areas and country parks where there is more space, quieter routes and plenty of shade during warmer weather. The walks are always tailored to the individual dog I am caring for. The younger and energetic can enjoy adventure walks, while older or senior dogs are given a gentler pace with shorter but more frequent walk. This is not just a business venture for me, it's an opportunity to spend time doing something I really love, giving dogs a caring comfortable home and their owners complete peace of mind. i almost forgot, I am insured and DBS checked. I am at home full time so fully adaptable to your dog's routine. I do have my own dog, she gets two walks a day. The boarded dog would have a minimum of two walk as well, more if needed. 4 bedroom house in Brockley with large secure garden. Many parks all around me. I very often head off to Kent for adventure and beach walks.

About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals and farm dogs, and I have two dogs of my own back in Canada. I've also dog sat for friends and family, caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m currently working part from home and have a super flexible schedule. I enjoyed this experience tremendously and I also learned a lot about behavior of the animals both cats and dogs. About: I've had cats since I was a young child, and I have had significant experience of dogs through my family and neighbours, as well as my family now having a Jack Russell terrier. I've house-sat for multiple people to take care of their cats/dogs, with a variety of ages/temperaments and general needs/medications. I've been involved in training my Jack Russell terrier from when she was a puppy. I've also had experience of managing dogs (specifically German Sheppard's as well as part Mastiffs) who have required more concentrated attention. I have regularly stayed in friends homes to look after their animals, and I have followed the instructions I've been passed on about their animals as closely as possible. I've also ensured that I've sent photos and videos of the animals to their owners to keep their minds at ease. I've also been entrusted with both young cats and old cats, both of which come with their differences (e.g. administering medications/managing anxiety in young cats)..

Since I was a little girl I have loved animals , I have been lucky to raise and train my own dog from puppy to fully grown . I currently live with two beautiful cats so Am lucky to be surrounded by furry friends. I have looked after animals for many years , simply because I love them and animal welfare is so important to me , it brings me peace of mind when I know they are in safe hands I also come from a scientific background so have good knowledge and a personal interest in animal behaviour and psychology and believe it’s something paramount to optimal wellbeing of our animal friends. I love being outdoors and taking dogs on long walks , equally I am happy to cuddle or play with them at home. So long as the little one is happy I am happy and finally working with animals is not a chore nor does it feel like work , I enjoy it I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available for pet sitting on a full-time basis. This allows me to dedicate consistent, one-to-one time and attention to the animals in my care, rather than splitting my focus. My routine is structured around fitness, which means I naturally maintain a disciplined and active lifestyle. On the days I am caring for pets, I am able to prioritise their needs whether that’s regular walks, playtime, companionship, or simply being present to ensure they feel calm and secure. I live close to two large, safe parks which are ideal for dog walking, enrichment, and exercise. I also have access to a private back garden for additional outdoor time in a secure environment. Overall, I am able to offer a high level of availability, consistency, and attention, ensuring your pet is never left feeling unattended or unsettled. Providing a safe, calm, and secure environment is my top priority when caring for any animal whether in my home or in an owner’s home. My home is very pet-friendly, with no carpets and a layout that allows for easy cleaning and hygiene. There are secure doors and the ability to section off areas if needed, which is particularly useful for introducing animals gradually or keeping them separated for comfort and safety. I live with two friendly cats, and I have extensive experience managing multi-animal environments. However, I fully understand that not all animals are comfortable around others, so I am completely happy and confident separating pets. The house is set up with both upstairs and downstairs spaces, making it easy to keep animals apart in a calm and controlled way if required. There are no children in the home just myself and 2 other female house members who are all animal lovers. During the day, it is usually just me at home, though occasionally house members may be working quietly in separate rooms. The environment remains calm, predictable, and low-stress. Alongside my hands on experience, I have spent time independently learning about animal welfare, behaviour, and safety. I am confident in recognising signs of stress or discomfort and always aim to create an environment where animals feel secure and understood. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will fully respect your space and follow your routines closely to maintain familiarity for your pet. I understand how important consistency is, and I will ensure their usual feeding, walking, and care routines are followed as closely as possible. Most importantly, I prioritise your preferences as an owner. I am always open to guidance and happy to adapt to your pet’s specific needs, routines, and any training approaches you would like maintained. About: After many years in the corporate world, I recently retired and decided it was finally time to do something I genuinely love, caring for dogs. Dogs have been a huge part of my life, at one point I had four of my own. Caring for them through every stage of life has given me extensive hands-on experience particularly with rescue and senior dogs who need extra patience, understanding and care. Although I am new to Rover, I have spent many years looking after friends' dogs while they travelled, I understand how important it is for owners knowing that dogs are safe, relaxed, cared for. Your dog will stay in a spacious four bedroom house with a large secure garden. Dogs are welcome throughout the house, this is very much a home from home environment with no restrictions on where they can relax or sleep. There are comfortable dog beds around the house, plenty of sofa options if they prefer or my own bed if they so wish. I am fortunate to have four parks within walking distance of my home but I also regularly drive to larger walking areas and country parks where there is more space, quieter routes and plenty of shade during warmer weather. The walks are always tailored to the individual dog I am caring for. The younger and energetic can enjoy adventure walks, while older or senior dogs are given a gentler pace with shorter but more frequent walk. This is not just a business venture for me, it's an opportunity to spend time doing something I really love, giving dogs a caring comfortable home and their owners complete peace of mind. i almost forgot, I am insured and DBS checked. I am at home full time so fully adaptable to your dog's routine. I do have my own dog, she gets two walks a day. The boarded dog would have a minimum of two walk as well, more if needed. 4 bedroom house in Brockley with large secure garden. Many parks all around me. I very often head off to Kent for adventure and beach walks.
