“Alessia was really quick and clear in her correspondence. Asked all the questions I’d expect her to ask to make sure she knew Astras likes, dislikes and needs. Very friendly and accommodating, she explained how her home would be Astra’s home for the night. Alessia was also very much tuned in to the extreme hot weather, and made sure Astra was exercised early in the morning and, temperatures permitting, again in the evening. She messaged through Astras stay to let me know how she was. I could tell she had a great time given all the licks Astra gave Alessia when it was time to come home : ) Wouldn’t hesitate to have Astra will with Alessia for a sleepover again.”

About: Heya :D Lewisham-based proud cat dad of three years to loud-mouthed, lovable ginger fluff: Percy. Now, sharing my gentle and calming approach to cat care with local owners in the Lewisham area (and beyond, if needed). I'm used to spending time and caring for a multitude of rescue cats with differing needs and routines, from shy and nervous to short-tempered and feisty. I use a calming approach to cat sitting, giving them space if needed, or welcoming play and chin-strokes if invited - always slow-blinking with them to ensure I mean well and inviting their trust :). I have learnt most of my cat-caring through Percy, a lovable 5-year-old with a bit of food-anxiety baggage. As a cat rescued from the streets, he is a picky eater, chatty, confident, and often needy - but always loved and cared for. I adapt to what is needed with each cat or kitten I meet, and am a first port of call for several local cat parents - always happy and trusting that their cat(s)/kitten(s) are well looked after. I know it's not easy to leave your fluffy children when going away, and I promise to provide your cat or kitten with warm, calming, well-loved care.

“Robert did a great job with our two cats. He sent daily updates and vids and was really prompt with responses. Our cats soon felt comfortable around him. Would definitely recommend!”

Thank you again!”

“Diany has been absolutely fantastic with our Beauceron puppy, Brimo. She comes back super relaxed and happy, ready for a nap and some cuddles. It means a lot to us being able to leave Brimo with someone we trust and who takes such good care of her while we get on with other things. Really recommend Diany if you’re looking for someone to keep your pet safe and happy :)”

About: I have experience with a diverse range of cats and dogs. Whether that’s medical needs, age range, personality and more. I appreciate each cat/dog for their unique personality and quirks! I currently have a charming cat called Stanley, he’s fully vaccinated and neutered. Stanley is very friendly and loves both human and furry company. He loves having a playmate but also respects if they don’t want to play! All I request is that your cat/dog is ok with other cats, unless it’s a short term stay, in which case I can keep them separate. I am very used to doing slow introductions. Outside of Rover, I have experience fostering both cats and dogs, which has allowed me to meet very many! I have toys and entertainment ready for your cat/dogs stay. I’ve extensively researched the best treats and food, though do let me know about allergies and/or dietary requirements! I am currently at home full time, so I have all the time and attention for your little one! I will stick to your little one’s usual routine to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I’ve set up my flat in a way that is cat and dog friendly. Lots of high and hidden spots for cats to relax, and lots of blankets for dogs to enjoy. My balcony door is closed at all times. If my windows are open, they are locked at a small gap. If your dog likes having access to the balcony, I can allow for this by separating my cat Stanley into another part of my flat - allowing your dog to come in and out freely, whilst ensuring Stanley’s safety.

About: Experienced with small, big , puppies and elderly dogs . Of all personalties . Experienced and confident with anxious animals with an understanding for their needs and patience with all personalities. Since I was a little girl I have loved animals , I have been lucky to raise and train my own dog from puppy to fully grown . I currently live with two beautiful cats so Am lucky to be surrounded by furry friends. I have looked after animals for many years , simply because I love them and animal welfare is so important to me , it brings me peace of mind when I know they are in safe hands I also come from a scientific background so have good knowledge and a personal interest in animal behaviour and psychology and believe it’s something paramount to optimal wellbeing of our animal friends. I love being outdoors and taking dogs on long walks , equally I am happy to cuddle or play with them at home. So long as the little one is happy I am happy and finally working with animals is not a chore nor does it feel like work , I enjoy it I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available for pet sitting on a full-time basis. This allows me to dedicate consistent, one-to-one time and attention to the animals in my care, rather than splitting my focus. My routine is structured around fitness, which means I naturally maintain a disciplined and active lifestyle. On the days I am caring for pets, I am able to prioritise their needs whether that’s regular walks, playtime, companionship, or simply being present to ensure they feel calm and secure. I live close to two large, safe parks which are ideal for dog walking, enrichment, and exercise. I also have access to a private back garden for additional outdoor time in a secure environment. Overall, I am able to offer a high level of availability, consistency, and attention, ensuring your pet is never left feeling unattended or unsettled. Providing a safe, calm, and secure environment is my top priority when caring for any animal whether in my home or in an owner’s home. My home is very pet-friendly, with no carpets and a layout that allows for easy cleaning and hygiene. There are secure doors and the ability to section off areas if needed, which is particularly useful for introducing animals gradually or keeping them separated for comfort and safety. I live with two friendly cats, and I have extensive experience managing multi-animal environments. However, I fully understand that not all animals are comfortable around others, so I am completely happy and confident separating pets. The house is set up with both upstairs and downstairs spaces, making it easy to keep animals apart in a calm and controlled way if required. There are no children in the home just myself and 2 other female house members who are all animal lovers. During the day, it is usually just me at home, though occasionally house members may be working quietly in separate rooms. The environment remains calm, predictable, and low-stress. Alongside my hands on experience, I have spent time independently learning about animal welfare, behaviour, and safety. I am confident in recognising signs of stress or discomfort and always aim to create an environment where animals feel secure and understood. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will fully respect your space and follow your routines closely to maintain familiarity for your pet. I understand how important consistency is, and I will ensure their usual feeding, walking, and care routines are followed as closely as possible. Most importantly, I prioritise your preferences as an owner. I am always open to guidance and happy to adapt to your pet’s specific needs, routines, and any training approaches you would like maintained. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is being cared for safely, thoughtfully, and with genuine attention.

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, including having a cat and dog of my own, and I’ve always loved spending time with them! Since moving to London for my studies, I don’t get to be around pets as much as I’d like, so I’ve loved looking after friends and family’s pets whenever I get the chance! I have experience caring for cats, dogs and puppies, having helped raise a litter of puppies with my family. I’d love to meet your furry friends and give them plenty of love and attention, so please feel free to get in touch! I work from home the majority of the week, and can take dogs out for walks at any time during the day. Additionally I can drop by and make sure your pet is okay every few hours. I am also available on weekends. I’m used to taking care of dogs, from looking after my own, as well as friends and family’s pets. I’m comfortable with their everyday routines, from feeding and letting them out to going on walks and giving them lots of attention!! I’m caring, responsible and patient, and always want dogs to feel safe and comfortable around me. I especially love taking dogs out for walks and making sure they of course get exercise but also have lots of fun!

About: I’m a big animal lover, I have been looking after friends and family’s dogs for many years. I also enjoy the company of cats! I have experience pet sitting with my partner in the past. I mostly work from home (except some evenings) which makes it easy for dogs to come stay for the day or overnight. I also have time throughout the day to take dogs on walks as my schedule is very flexible. I have a fenced off courtyard, and will ensure pets are kept safe within the flat. I will follow whatever instructions or requests you inform me of. If I’m coming to a pet owners home, I will be very respectful of your space.
“Adrian is an outstanding recurring dog walker for our large puppy. Renn can be quite strong and excitable, but Adrian handles him with calm confidence and real skill. He’s always punctual and completely reliable, which gives us great peace of mind. Communication is excellent—Adrian keeps us updated, lets us know how each walk goes, and is quick to respond to any messages. It’s clear he genuinely understands dogs and adapts his approach to suit their needs. Renn absolutely loves his walks with Adrian, and we’ve noticed a positive difference in his behaviour, confidence and energy levels. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Adrian to anyone looking for a trustworthy, capable, and professional dog walker.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and absolutely love having them around. I miss my family dog, who lives in Kent, so would love the chance to hang out with another dog. I know lots of great walks in the area and am super flexible with dates for looking after your best pal. Been using Borrow my Doggy to build up some clients, fairly new to Rover so have lowered my prices to help get started! I currently work from home 3 or 2 days a week and am flexible on weekends with enough notice. I have communal outdoor space at my flat and am happy to host here or at your house, whatever is easiest. I’m also happy to do morning and evening walks before/after work. Can easily host a dog for a day in my flat, communal outdoor space and lots of parks nearby. Equally happy to work remotely from your house if easier.
“Roan has taken my lively Golden Retriever, Koko, on two walks, and as it was our first time using a dog walker, I expected Koko might need a little coaxing to head out with someone new. That absolutely wasn’t the case with Roan! From the moment he walked through the door, Koko was so excited to meet him. He is clearly a natural with dogs, and Koko warmed to him immediately and happily headed off on her walk. Roan was attentive, responsive, and quick to reply to messages. When collecting Koko, he took the time to ask how long we wanted her walked for and was very mindful of the recent heat wave. On her second walk, he adjusted accordingly and took her on a slower walk around the block in the shade, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend Roan to anyone looking for a dog walker and will absolutely be using his services again in the future.”

About: I have grown up with cats and absolutely adore dogs. I have always helped anyone I can with their dogs, whether that be friends, family, neighbours or anyone else in the community. I have looked after a range of dogs, from greyhounds to cocker spaniels to pomeranians! I work mostly from home during the week, usually going in on a Thursday and sometimes a Wednesday. This means I have plenty of time to be around to look after pets and make sure they are getting the attention they deserve! I go on a lunch and after work walk every day without fail so you can be confident that your dog would get decent exercise and have fun with me. I'm mostly around SE London on the weekends and love exploring the local area and making the most of my community. I have an astro turfed garden which has high fences and backs only on to other gardens. I am happy to use any of your equipment in my home to make your dog as comfortable as possible. We have a big 3 story house and easily accessible garden, allowing your dog to roam freely if so desired.
About: Ive had animals in my home my whole life. I've been taking care of my pet cat Florence for the last 16 years. Even though i love all pets she is my fav. I've dogwalked and housesat for various friend's dogs, one of whom can be quite difficult... My cousins who live very near by to me also have a Collie who i often look after (he also lives with me when his parents go on holiday). He is a very high energy dog which is something i love because i never get tired of playing with him. Im a University of Manchester student on a course with low contact hours. This means i have lots of flexibility in my week. I also love being able to look after animals as it adds more structure to my week and helps me get out of my room instead of just studying all the time. Prince was really well looked after, especially with helping us with continuity on some of the training we are doing with him at home, and we got regular updates too. Thank you and Prince will see his new friends again soon!”
“Fraser took really good care of our senior dog Izzy. He made sure she had everything she needed and was very understanding of her needs as a nervous pooch. He also provided updates and photos for our peace of mind!”

“Liam was great with Percy, he accepted our booking last minute and Percy had a great time having lots of walks and chill time. Liam kept us updated with photos and messages, it was a perfect little holiday for him whilst we visited friends. We’ll definitely use Liam again if we’re in London”

“Sherlyn was fantastic looking after our greyhound for a week. She met us beforehand to make sure her dog and Pongo got on and asked all the right questions. She obviously cared for him very well and followed our instructions to get his paw better which had been a bit damaged. She had great communication with regular updates. I would happily use her again”
