“Friendly and communicative throughout. Layla was comfortable with him and everything went smoothly overall. As Layla can sometimes be a little stubborn when meeting new walkers, a bit more confidence and experience handling hesitant dogs would be beneficial, but he was patient and keen to make sure she was comfortable. Thank you for looking after her.”

“Shuk has been amazing with Leia. She sends very detailed updates and lots of pictures, so I always knew exactly how Leia was doing on her walks. She pays attention to the small behaviours, is very careful with other dogs, and keeps me reassured at all times. We were away on holiday and it gave us real peace of mind to know Leia was in such good hands. I highly recommend her and will definitely book her again.”
About: I’ve loved dogs all my life, spending plenty of time around the pups of friends and family. Two years ago, I met my true dogmate, Matlock, a French Bulldog who completely changed my world. Since then, we’ve been side by side almost every moment of the day (working from home means she’s basically my boss!). Together with her Labrador buddy, they’ve trained me far better than I could ever train them. Thanks to them, I’ve learned to understand a dog’s needs, moods, and quirks. I’ll bring that same unconditional love and care to your furry friend. Since I work from home, I’m able to keep a close eye on your dog throughout the day. I already have a neutered French Bulldog, so I’m very used to balancing daily walks, playtime, and rest. Caring for pets is a natural part of my everyday routine, and I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and included. I live in a pet-friendly apartment, furnished with safety in mind thanks to my own dog. It’s a cozy, welcoming space where pets feel right at home. Just a short 3-minute walk away, there’s a beautiful park perfect for walks, play, and fresh air. Your dog will be cared for in a safe and loving environment, as if they were part of my own family.
About: Hey there! I'm Faith, a long-time pet and housesitter. I would love to get a dog, but it's not the right time for me, but I have all the time in the world for your loved ones. You may have noticed that my Rover profile is relatively new, I have been slowly gathering reviews on TrustedHousesitters, including: Emmanuella's review "Delighted to recommend Faith, who has always taken excellent care of my cat, Mubi, while I'm away. Faith is attentive, caring, and reliable and Mubi, who usually doesn't warm up to most people, is always happy and well cared for with Faith" and Laurens review "Faith was amazing with Dug, always ensuring he got plenty of playtime and socialising while I was at work. She’d pick him up, take him to parks, and he’d come back so happy and relaxed—her genuine love for dogs and reliability make her such a fantastic person for anyone looking for a pet sitter x". I've been dog walking, visiting pets at home and housesitting for years now. It all started with family, friends and colleagues and has since grew to travelling up and down the country for regulars who request for me to look after their pets for weeks at a time while they travel. My experience is varied - I've worked with livestock on farms, taken care of little pomeranians and larger mastiffs and I've also looked after small pets including parrots, rabbits, turtles and geckos. I have looked after several neighbours cats and done many overnight and daytime house visits with some wonderful cats and dogs. I used to be big on travel, and petsitting has allowed me to visit some incredible places. But I travel less these days and now would like to welcome pets into my home too. I'm communicative and will happily provide as many or as few updates, pictures/videos as you'd like. You won't have to second-guess whether your pet is okay or not. I promise your dog, cat or small animal will get alllll the love - I'm 100% an animal lover and do this because I find it therapeutic to take care of, walk and play with pets, the money is honestly just a bonus. Looking forward to hearing from you I work flexibly from home, so they will get plenty of attention. I'm looking forward to lots of walks and play & even trying out some new tricks. I live in an apartment but have access to a fenced green area across the road as well as regularly taking myself on walks throughout the day - I'm able to pop out any time if your dog needs to go toilet etc.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young, always had family dogs, undertaken animal study courses and volunteered at ranged charities including dogs trust and dog hydrotherapy centres! I have a small toy poodle who gets along really well with other dogs. I work from home most of the week and can take dogs out for toilet breaks and fun walks whenever needed, or play with them whenever they need some attention! My home is my dogs home so anything is for offer- toys, treats, furniture, a bath if they need it. I have a flat but lots of green areas around me which I take my own toy poodle out to many times a day.
About: I've always loved being around pets, and I spent my teen years with my lovely do, Mya. I have been dogsitting in London since moving here 6 years ago, and love meeting all the different doggies around. I am a freelance translator, so I set my own timings most of the time, making it easy to organise a flexible schedule for the day. I am not able to host pets in my house, but I am more than happy to visit and/or stay at the pet's residence. I am a very clean a respectful person, especially in spaces that are not mine. I understand the importance for some pets to stay in their safe environment.
About: Will care for and love your dog like my own. Have grown up with dogs and cats in the family. Whilst I prepare for a dog of my own, I enjoy walking, training and playing with friends dogs and would love to get to know your dog. I work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays so happy to have a regular canine companion on those days. I may be available on some Tuesdays but couldn’t commit to every Tuesday. I can be available on weekends, day or evening. I live in a flat on the 5th floor with a balcony. Your dog would only be allowed on the balcony under full supervision. Your dog is welcome on my sofa. There is a large park less than a 10 minute walk away. I don’t have any pets so your dog will have my full attention.

“Rianne went out of her way to accommodate my request and Boodle and I are very grateful for it too!! Will certainly be booking Rianne again and would recommend to others. Thank you Rianne!!”

I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and always make their comfort, safety, and happiness my top priority. With a calm and patient nature, I’m great at building trust—even with shy or anxious animals. I am free to take care of your pets any day or time, im currently unemployed and have a lot of free time on my hands. I make them feel at home if they are at my house they can do as they please within reason and same goes for there own home.
About: I love seeing cats happy which is a very rewarding experience. Great patience with getting them to familiarise with strangers like myself in the beginning. I'm working full-time on a hybrid basis (Mon-Fri) - twice a week at the office which is quite close with public transport. So flexible and willing to adjust times :). For the time being, I'm not hosting cats. Based on my experience from my own cat, lots of playing, brushing, cleaning litter and their food bowls regularly, keeping them close when working or cooking. However, as we know, they need their freedom to roam in the house and a pulled curtain to watch birds!
“Ainhoa walked out dog Zoe on an evening when we went to a show in central London. She was communicative and sent several updates while feeding and walking Zoe. I would definitely recommend her to care for your pet”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life. Growing up, our family always had pets, and I was actively involved in their daily care, feeding, walking, grooming, and playtime. Now, I live in London with my beautiful 7-year-old cat Molly, who is the sweetest and most affectionate girl. I’m very familiar with all things cat-related (litter routines, feeding schedules, enrichment, and giving medication if needed). I also still have my dog back home in my country, so I’m comfortable with both species and understand their different needs and personalities. I genuinely love animals and treat every pet I look after as if they were my own. Whether you have a playful kitten, a senior cat, an energetic dog, or a couch potato, I’m happy to provide attentive, reliable, and affectionate care while you’re away. Pet care fits very easily into my daily and weekly routine. I work from home most days in London, so I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walks, and overnight stays with plenty of flexibility. I currently live with my cat Molly and structure my days around her needs (morning and evening feeding, playtime, litter maintenance, etc.). This means I’m already in a pet-focused routine and can easily add care for your pets without disruption. I’m generally available mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and I can accommodate both regular and last-minute bookings. I’m reliable, organised, and happy to work around your schedule. I take the safety, trust, and comfort of every pet very seriously. While I’m caring for your pet in your home your pet will receive the same attentive, loving care that I give my own cat Molly. In your home: I follow all your instructions carefully, feeding schedules, medication, walking routines, house rules, and any special needs. I send daily updates with photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and safe. I’m very mindful about security (locking doors, windows, etc.) and keeping your home exactly as I found it. I’m fully background-checked through Rover and happy to provide references. Trust is very important to me, your pet’s wellbeing comes first.
“Our dog Sunny needs extra, special care - he's senior with eyesight & hearing issues. We know Sunny is in caring hands with Josh and can tell Sunny loves his walks! Josh is incredibly reliable and attentive to our little Sunny, we're so grateful for him.”

Karen was great with Henry, he took to her straight away which is always a good sign! She is communicative, responds quickly, and kept me updated throughout. She made sure he was walked and fed, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again.

We’ve been working with Nimmi for a number of months now, with regular walks for our dog three times a week, and I honestly can’t recommend her highly enough. Nimmi is incredibly personable and reliable, and she is absolutely amazing with our dog, Chili. It’s very clear how much she genuinely cares. Nimmi is attentive, thoughtful, and really tuned in to Chili’s needs and personality. She also takes amazing photos which we thoroughly enjoy looking through after walks! We’ve felt completely comfortable and confident with Nimmi walking Chili, and it’s such a relief knowing our baby is in such good hands. Nimmi consistently goes above and beyond, and it really shows - Chili waits for Nimmi in the window every lunch time now because she’s so excited for her walk!

Shuk has been fantastic with our cockapoo, Ivy. Her communication has been excellent, and she always follows instructions carefully, which gives us real peace of mind. Most importantly, Ivy is always so happy and excited to spend time with Shuk, and as dog owners, that means everything to us. We also really appreciate the regular updates and all the lovely photos from each walk. It’s clear Ivy is well cared for and enjoying herself. We’re very pleased and would highly recommend Shuk! 🙏

Catia is great and our Martha loves her and her pup Ralph. Really appreciated her flexibility in rescheduling walks. Martha is quite a nervous dog but loves walking off the lead. Catia is very confident and knowledgeable about dogs, so Martha was able to do her usual off-lead walks. We would definitely recommend Catia.

It’s clear Yaseen loves animals, we have a big kid and wanted to ensure we find someone who can handle our big high energy “pup”, on the walk it was apparent he can indeed handle a big energetic dog (and has experience with it) whilst being very calm, caring, attentive and professional. We recommend Yaseen with confidence!

Isabelle was amazing with our dog, Ivy. We met beforehand to see how she would interact with her, and she was so easy to talk to. She always made sure Ivy came home clean and dry after every walk, and she followed all the instructions for handling our keys perfectly. We really appreciate her and highly recommend her!

Wow. For a nervous first timer like me, this was the best decision I ever made to make sure my senior dog was taken care of!! Araceli went above and beyond, she came to meet us a day before we had to leave the house and our dog for the weekend and met him and asked questions to guarantee things go smoothly. She even offered to come by the next day so I rebooked instantly!! HIGHLY recommend Araceli, your pet will be safe in her hands.
