About: I’ve loved dogs all my life, spending plenty of time around the pups of friends and family. Two years ago, I met my true dogmate, Matlock, a French Bulldog who completely changed my world. Since then, we’ve been side by side almost every moment of the day (working from home means she’s basically my boss!). Together with her Labrador buddy, they’ve trained me far better than I could ever train them. Thanks to them, I’ve learned to understand a dog’s needs, moods, and quirks. I've been dog walking, visiting pets at home and housesitting for years now. It all started with family, friends and colleagues and has since grew to travelling up and down the country for regulars who request for me to look after their pets for weeks at a time while they travel. My experience is varied - I've worked with livestock on farms, taken care of little pomeranians and larger mastiffs and I've also looked after small pets including parrots, rabbits, turtles and geckos. I have looked after several neighbours cats and done many overnight and daytime house visits with some wonderful cats and dogs. I used to be big on travel, and petsitting has allowed me to visit some incredible places. But I travel less these days and now would like to welcome pets into my home too. I'm communicative and will happily provide as many or as few updates, pictures/videos as you'd like. You won't have to second-guess whether your pet is okay or not. I promise your dog, cat or small animal will get alllll the love - I'm 100% an animal lover and do this because I find it therapeutic to take care of, walk and play with pets, the money is honestly just a bonus. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young, always had family dogs, undertaken animal study courses and volunteered at ranged charities including dogs trust and dog hydrotherapy centres! I have a small toy poodle who gets along really well with other dogs. About: I love seeing cats happy which is a very rewarding experience. Great patience with getting them to familiarise with strangers like myself in the beginning. I'm working full-time on a hybrid basis (Mon-Fri) - twice a week at the office which is quite close with public transport. So flexible and willing to adjust times :). For the time being, I'm not hosting cats. Based on my experience from my own cat, lots of playing, brushing, cleaning litter and their food bowls regularly, keeping them close when working or cooking. However, as we know, they need their freedom to roam in the house and a pulled curtain to watch birds!
