We work from home most days and have a park right at the end of our road. We are reliable and can most often help last minute. I was a volunteer dog walker for 4 years at university, even adopting one, who now lives at home with my parents (and our other 2 dogs!). Dog care experience has ranged from elderly dogs to puppies. About: I’m confident and experienced in dog walking, sitting and training dogs of different breads. Having had dogs growing up, I completely sympathise that they become part of the family. Hence why I’ve turned to dog walking and sitting to be able to share my love and passion for pets and provide a service where hopefully people feel like their dogs are going to be well looked after and loved whilst they’re away. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs of all different breeds and ages since I was little, including old dogs who need medication and slow walks, and caring for 2 litters of puppies. I have also volunteered in a dog shelter in Indonesia which had taken in 50+ dogs from the streets, which gave me good experience in understanding body language such as when a dog is feeling threatened or distressed. I’m currently unemployed so will be available to look after your dog multiple times a week and can be flexible with which days. I can pay attention to them all day and can take them out for frequent walks and wee breaks at the common opposite my flat. I live in a flat, but just the other side of the road to beautiful and vast Streatham Common and Norwood Grove woods, with endless fields and woodland area to run around in and get lots of sniffs! I volunteer for two animal rescue charities, The Stray Cat Club and Protected Paws, driving them to vet appointments and their fur-ever homes. About: I had a family Labradoodle from the age of 15 who I adored, but also have experience looking after friends and family’s lovely dogs of all sizes! I spend most days working from home so would love some four-legged company and the ability to go out for nice long walks. I work full-time but quite flexibly so would be able to give a lot of care and attention to a dog during the work day. I’d also be able to get out either before work or during lunch for a long walk! I have a spacious flat and large fenced garden so lots of room for play. I’ve lived here over a year now but in that time have had three dogs stay with us more than once! I also live close to a large common, perfect for dog walks and exercise.
