Besides my own two childhood Shih-Tzus, I've cared for many different breeds, including Poodle mixes, French bulldogs, Schnauzers, Labs, and Akitas. I was a sitter with TrustedHousesitters for a year and pet-sat across the UK until I settled in London. Now that I have my own flat, I would love to have dogs in my life, whether it's taking them on a walk or boarding them overnight. I work at a bookshop 3 days a week (normally two weekdays and one weekend day) and am given my exact schedule 2 weeks ahead of time. On a workday, I would be out of the house for about 8 hours, but if your dog is small and well-trained, it is welcome to come to work with me. My flat has an enclosed courtyard/garden area big enough for getting the zoomies out and convenient for a quick toilet break. If your dog enjoys longer walks or playing outside, I would take them to Brockwell Park, about a 10-minute walk away. Pets would have free rein of the flat when I am home.

About: I’ve had family dogs my whole life. I’m used to looking after dogs for family and friends. Live in a flat with a garden and have access to Brockwell park for daytime walks. I work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays and have a flexible schedule. I live in a flat with a garden and am only 10 minute walk away from Brockwell park for daytime walks. About: Brixton based! I’ve been caring for my own Shih-tzu/Yorkie mix Misha for the past 5 years and have hosted and looked after lots of other dogs over the years. I co-parent Misha with my best friend, which means I have plenty of free time and flexibility to give another dog attention, care and cuddles! I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your dog with someone else, so I can make sure both you and your dog feel as comfortable and reassured as possible, sending updates as often as you would like, and of course make sure your pet feels relaxed and loved while you’re away. I work from the office 1-2 days a week, so I’m home for the majority of the week and have plenty of time to give dogs lots of attention, walks, playtime, and company. My flexible work schedule also means I can be there for them throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods, especially if your pet has separation anxiety. I care for pets in my home as I would my own dog! Lots of patience, attention, and affection 🫶 I love to take dogs on long walks, park visits, cuddles, and try to keep as close to their regular routine depending on what that might be. About: I have had pets in my family all of my life and have also raised 2 litters of puppies and raised 4 dogs and 2 cats. I love all animals and am knowledgeable about their behaviour and level of care needed. I work in the office 3 days a week so I am flexible in the week and free over the weekends. On the days I am in the office (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays) I can look after animals in the evening and into the next day. Alternatively my office is dog friendly for well behaved and toilet trained dogs (dogs would have to be ok with public transport to and from the office) I have a fenced Garden and a large house. There is plenty of space to crate a dog but also allow them to have freedom of space.
