“Claire was a fantastic help last minute when we needed help. She was very clear with instructions which was good with us just visiting the area on holiday. Our dog had a fantastic day with Claire and her family and her outdoor space and set up is excellent. We were so impressed with how personable Claire was that we asked if we could book her again whilst we’re here on holiday with full peace of mind!”

About: I have been a petsiitter, walker, companion for many years. I love all fur babies, recently looked after chickens too. I am First Aid trained and can administer medicines. I have a car, i cover the Ryedale and surrounding areas. Will consider further afield but a minimum of one continous week. Always recommend a meetup before a booking for a cuppa and maybe a biscuit 😉 Recently retired. As i am an animal lover and experienced pet sitter for cats, dogs, chickens i can't think of a better way to spend my time. I cannot look after pets in my own home sadly. I can only offer pet sitting, Vet visits, Pop-ins for all fur babies, chickens, feeding, comforting, walking. Sadly I cannot look after reactive dogs because of past experience.

About: I've taken care of a lurcher & grey hound sitting overnight at friend's house in Whitby I also have taken care of our son's dog I used to house sit my friends three dogs and cat for a few days at a time over three consecutive years I work from home as a Homeopath . So I can work around this very easily I live in Norton and would walk to the owners home to care for their pets My garden is not completely secure . So would prefer not to have them here . Plus we have a cat that's not keen on sharing

About: Hello, thank you for looking at my profile 🙂 I am a huge dog lover and truly enjoy spending time hanging out with pups, be it our own or yours! Having grown up on a farms with dogs I have several years of experiencing as well as now owning my own 🫶🏼 I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your dog, and always treat every dog as if they were my own. I want your dog to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and happy while you’re away. Having two dogs myself, my home is very dog-friendly and a welcoming space where dogs can relax and be themselves. There’s plenty of room to move around, play, and settle in comfortably, whether your dog is energetic and playful or more laid-back and cuddly. I am happy to stick to your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and downtime, so they feel right at home. I love to hike and get out into nature, and the dogs always come along for the ride! Being on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors there are have some amazing walks right on our doorstep 🍂 I know first hand that leaving your dog with someone new can be stressful, so I do my best to communicate clearly and make the experience easy and reassuring for both you and your dog. Daily pupdates are always available if you’d like that, as are introductory meet ups before your dogs stay with me so we can get to know each other. I hope to hear from you soon! 🐾 I work from home so am available every weekday and weekends for doggy care 🐕 Morning walks, lunchtime trots and perhaps even the odd run, they will get plenty of exercise and never be short of stimulation! The garden is fully fenced and dog proof, meaning no escapees! I have got a large open plan kitchen diner that can take a crate if needed for your dog, or if you’d rather they weren’t in a crate that’s also absolutely fine, we’ve got plenty of space for an extra snuggly bed!

“Alicia was great with our 8 month husky/labrador cross, Haribo. She was very professional and provided a pick-up and drop-off service as well. Alicia provided him a whole day of adventures with her dog, trained him with recall and walking to heel, and sitting patiently in cafes. He absolutely had a lovely time with Alicia and his new doggy friend! We got lots of lovely videos and pictures 🥰 highly recommended and we will definitely be rebooking in the future!”
