I have a car, i cover the Ryedale and surrounding areas. Will consider further afield but a minimum of one continous week. Always recommend a meetup before a booking for a cuppa and maybe a biscuit 😉 Recently retired. As i am an animal lover and experienced pet sitter for cats, dogs, chickens i can't think of a better way to spend my time. I cannot look after pets in my own home sadly. About: I've taken care of a lurcher & grey hound sitting overnight at friend's house in Whitby I also have taken care of our son's dog I used to house sit my friends three dogs and cat for a few days at a time over three consecutive years I work from home as a Homeopath . So I can work around this very easily I live in Norton and would walk to the owners home to care for their pets My garden is not completely secure . So would prefer not to have them here . I love to hike and get out into nature, and the dogs always come along for the ride! Being on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors there are have some amazing walks right on our doorstep 🍂 I know first hand that leaving your dog with someone new can be stressful, so I do my best to communicate clearly and make the experience easy and reassuring for both you and your dog. Daily pupdates are always available if you’d like that, as are introductory meet ups before your dogs stay with me so we can get to know each other. About: We've recently lost our two family dogs which is heart breaking. My cousin has recently got a puppy and I've been helping her with that. I had a puppy as a child. I've dog sat in other people's homes and taken them out for walks. I'm a carer for humans too! If your dog comes to my home they will sleep in my room. Cats will be separated. My partner is available for when I'm not so there is always someone to keep an eye on them. I have two private care jobs otherwise I am fully available for pet care 🐶 😺 I can cover mornings, lunch, tea and evening's, also overnight ! I love country walks. My partner helps with the business dog so if your dog needs more attention he is also available. About: I’ve always had a passion for animals big or small! Over the years growing up I’ve had four gerbils, one degu and six rats! I had a collie cross Labrador growing up and now I have my giant softy mastiff called Bella! I did animal welfare in college I would love one day to have my own petting farm or animal rescue centre. I’m currently out of work so I would love to be able to help out other people with their amazing animals whether it be pet sitting, checking in with them during the day or taking them on adventures walks! I’ve pet sit for my partners mums senior dog a handful of times that required a special meal plan and extra attention and care. What you can expect when I look after your fur babies is lots of cuddles if they enjoy that, lots of play time and a lot of care and effort into making them feel safe and happy while you are away as I understand they aren’t just our pets they are our family and caring for animals is something i genuinely love! I’m currently out of work so I will have all the time in the world to care for your fur babies, take them for walks, check in with them or stay with them over weekends if you’re going away for some me time! While you are away whether I am checking in with them or staying with them I’ll take the time to make sure they feel comfortable and loved giving them lots of cuddles and fuss, making sure they are played with whether it’s tug of war or out in the garden, I’ll make sure doors or gates are locked at all times to ensure your pets safety, I’ll feed them on time that is requested or any special dietary requests.
About: I have lots of experience caring for pets as my degree has allowed me to work in both kennels and catteries, getting to know different animals and how to care for them. I have always had pets in the house and have a great love for all animals. My degree is quite full on, however midweek and weekends I would be able fit you and your pet in. Being around animals is very important to me and I often drop anything for the opportunity to cuddle a cute pup I am not able to have pets in my home at the moment but would be more than happy looking after your pet in your home, or taking your dogs for walks. I would be more confident walking dogs on leads as I would be worried if they do not have strong recall skills, however I would always ensure they have enough excercise.

About: We (Alex and Catherine) are licensed and insured home boarders in Scarborough, offering a genuine home-from-home experience with a large secure garden and full run of the house. Our household routine means dogs have company throughout the day. We’re experienced with a wide range of personalities: energetic dogs, anxious dogs, first-time boarders, and dogs who prefer a real home environment instead of kennels. We follow all licensing requirements, including structured routines, safe supervision, hygiene protocols, and clear communication with owners. With a fantastic coastal location just moments from Scarborough’s North Bay we offer great walks and a true family stay for you dogs. We're an early-rising household, so dogs start their day with a proper beach walk before 8am. After that, breakfast is served and dogs can relax around the house while the humans get on with work. Dogs are never left alone, and they have easy access to our secure garden throughout the day for toilet breaks, sniffing, and exploring. Lunchtime usually includes a short walk with plenty of sniffing and a bit of play. Afternoons are a chilled part of the day while the humans work, with dogs free to rest, potter about, or enjoy the garden. Evenings include another walk often a bit longer,as needed, followed by downtime, attention, and plenty of cuddles before bed. Dogs stay in a licensed, home-from-home environment where safety and supervision come first. Our home is fully accessible to visiting dogs, with clear routines, safe spaces, and a secure garden they can use throughout the day. We manage introductions carefully, follow all licensing requirements, and tailor the environment to each dog's needs - whether that's extra reassurance, structured downtime, or enrichment to keep them settled. Dogs are supervised at all times, with consistent human presence and a predictable household rhythm. We maintain hygiene routines, safe feeding practices, and clear communication with owners, including regular updates and photos. Our aim is to make every dog feel comfortable, happy, and part of the household while staying safe, relaxed, and well-cared-for.

“Eva is absolutely incredible, she looked after her 10th-14th. Bare in mind I didn’t want too leave her but Eva kept reassuring me that she’s okay and she brought her a new collar as the one she had broken and she brought her some treats and taken her on loads of walks and playing with her favourite toys and then her a wash too and lots of cuddle I’ll be hundred percent booking her in with Eva again she was so understanding kind and caring I will deffo recommend her to anyone as my dog has anxiety and separation anxiety and she made our baby girl settled thanks EVA xxx”
