“Where to start Niamh I have know for years now and I can assure anyone she loves and care for pets deeply ☺️. She looked after my fur boy with the best care and treatment. I am grateful, for the time she spent making sure he had company, he was comfortable and had lots of bosies. She also took the time to brush him, which is not for the faint hearted due to how fluffy he is. Would most definitely recommend her caring and compassionate services to anyone ☺️🧡”

About: Growing up I always knew I’d either end up working with animals or children. My full time job is a childcare practitioner but I can’t give up my love for animals which has led me to Rover. I’ve always been around animals growing up (my late grandfather had a farm) and we currently have a 7 year old border collie who I adore and have sole responsibility for on a regular basis. I also regularly look after my sisters Labrador who is a very energetic and needy boy. I also have good experience with several other dog breeds. I currently work Tuesday to Friday 8:30am till 6pm so am available evenings and weekends. I usually have Mondays free as well and I regularly update my calendar if I am busy on certain days. Skye gets walked three times a day, with toilet breaks in between if needed. Although i don't have a garden i make sure she gets all the exercise she needs, and that shes eating and drinking enough through the day.

“I was very pleased with Karen, I got updates when she did her drop ins and I got a map to show me where she went, I would certainly recommend her and I would definitely use her again”

About: I'm energetic being able to run or jog while walking dogs. I have good knowledge on my local area being able to give leisurely walks to older dogs as well. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide consistent, reliable care. Whether it’s early morning walks, afternoon playtime, or evening drop-ins, I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I look forward to every day. When walking dogs, I always make sure to follow their specific instructions regarding leash preferences, walking routes, pace, and any behavioural needs. I start each visit by greeting the dog calmly, checking their gear for safety, and making sure they’re comfortable before we head out. During the walk, I pay close attention to their body language and keep them safe from potential hazards. Afterward, I ensure they have fresh water, and I update the owner with notes and photos.

About: I’ve owned my own dachshund for 3 years and if you know the breed you understand that I have plenty of experience with anxious trouble makers. I also have a working collie so can deal with high energy dogs as well. I am currently applying for a masters degree so my summers are free for some doggy adventures ! I am at home from Monday to Friday most days to dog sit with the occasional adventure day where I go on longer hikes and walks. If your pooch would enjoy this longer day out contact me to arrange for a mountain climb or longer adventure. All dogs in my care will remain on lead at all times (can be an extendable lead or a long line) to ensure everyone is safe at all times. When traveling in a car I do require pets to have a travel safe harness to be able to use my dog seatbelts. All dog walks will be recorded on Strava with my emergency contact having our location at all times to ensure safety when out.i can also provide owners with tracking information as well.

I am currently in my final few months of university studying to be a nurse, a lot of my time is spent at home with uni work and when I’m on placement I’m only working 3 days a week so have the rest of the week free for other activities. Linda K.Star Sitter
“Seamus, my cocker spaniel, had his best holiday ever at Linda's. He is a very 'busy' curious dog, and under 2 years old when he went to stay so I was worried that he would be a bit much! Linda ensured he had plenty sniffy walks in the woods, and he even went hillwalking with her (his favourite activity) His other favourite activity is snuggling and Linda also made sure he had plenty time to switch off. She understands dog body language and noticed a behaviour I hadn't picked up on. She sent me regular updates and photos at my request, and I'm pretty sure Seamus came home better trained than when I dropped him off. I wouldn't hesitate to book him on another holiday at Linda's.”

Sheila T.
“Sheila has been my pet sitter and dog walker for the past couple of years. I have a lively and very fit Doberman girl and so it takes a bit of knowledge and patience (and lots of cuddles) to have my dog. Whenever I have seen Sheila meeting any kind of dog, big or small, old or lively young, she has made quite clear how much she likes dogs. My dog has been in Sheila's house and was made at home there as if it was in my own place, always a nice chew waiting and never left alone. Whenever I take my dog to Sheila's place she is storming to the entrance door, I am forgotten. What better way to leave your dog at the sitter's home!”
