Philippa was absolutely brilliant with all our animals, the cats loved her and the dog was smitten. It was the first time our furr babies have been left with anyone outside our family and I was worried how they would find it but Philippa made them all very happy with lots of fuss. We received regular message updates and photos which made the whole experience so much more relaxing for us too. Would highly recommend Philippa and would definitely book again.

Alice came to look after our cockapoo Mali for a week. She did lots of visits and walks before hand to get to know Mali, and we are so grateful for all her care of Mali while we were away. We had lots of pictures and videos every day, and Mali had lovely walks. Would definitely use Alice again.

About: I’ve looked after many of my friends' and family’s dogs over the years, as well as gaining more experience with every sit I do! I love animals in general, and making sure they’re calm and cared for; as that’s all they deserve. I was first introduced to animals when I began horse riding at 6 years old. I’ve now cared for my beautiful horses for 16 years- one a little more chill and one more spirited! I used to care for them daily, but now, due to work & travel commitments, I ride and visit them as often as I can. We also have a sweet (if sometimes temperamental!) cat who loves a good fuss, on her own terms! As you can see, I’m comfortable with all sorts of pets and all of their unique personalities!! I’ve sat a number of houses, with both dogs & cats, in the last year, all of which have been wonderful experiences, and an opportunity for me to expand my knowledge of caring for these amazing creatures. Looking after animals fits beautifully into my daily routine- it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I work remotely as an Operations Coordinator for a national charity, where I work from home 80% of the time, allowing me to be fully present with the pets I’m looking after. I know my office days in advance, so would only organise a sit when I know I won’t be heading into London. When I’m pet sitting, I’m there to give your animals all the love, care, and attention they need. When housesitting, I’ll usually set up to work in a good spot, where I am able to check in on your animals throughout the day and taking breaks to give them some company. I like to live a very active life, heading to the gym or spin class most days. With this, I like to make sure I hit my 10k steps, so ensuring your little ones get theirs in too will never be a problem! Animals have always been part of my life, so I like to think caring for them is second nature to me. Whether it’s keeping to their usual routines or just making sure they’re happy and comfortable, I really value that quiet companionship and the joy they bring. When I’m staying in someone’s home, I treat it, and their pets, with the same care and respect I would my own. I take time to understand their usual routines, preferences, and any specific needs, so things feel as normal and comfortable for them as possible. I make sure they’re fed on time, walked (if needed), given company throughout the day, and always have a calm, relaxed space to rest in. I also like to keep the home clean and tidy, and will always keep in touch with updates throughout your time away!

Bethan was fantastic - calm, reliable, and clearly experienced. She looked after all three of my dogs with meticulous care, arriving promptly and staying overnight. Although it wasn’t 24/7 care, she came and went thoughtfully, always keeping the dogs’ routine and wellbeing in mind. She stepped in at short notice and handled everything beautifully, including giving medication to Una (who was recovering from a hip injury) and making sure our young rescue dog Benji got the extra walks and attention he needed. Bethan also has her own rescue dog also called Benji!, though they didn’t meet this time. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and plan to book her again soon.

About: I set up a dog day care and grooming business in 2010 and have been looking after dogs ever since. My own 2 have since passed away so now I’m looking to share the love that I have with other peoples dogs. I have 2 weeks of every month where I am completely free to commit to caring for your dog. Giving it 100% of my attention. At the moment I live in an apartment. I would spend a lot of the day out walking and exploring if that was something you would like your dog to do. Otherwise cuddles on the settee with toilet breaks outside on lead. Or sitting in your home where there is less disruption for your dog.

Quality caring and experience guaranteed :) For more information please contact me, to chat about your dogs, or any pets. Thanks I work part time from home; hence I am flexible. When weather permits, I take my dog for a day trip, i.e. country fairs, farmers' markets, foodies festival, visiting friends, or allotments. I only accept pets that I am able to care for. Hence, meet and greet is a must. I had previous traumatic experiences with pets which were not socialized and they were very aggressive to any other animals...

I would highly recommend Isobel to take care of your home and animals. Her love of animals of all shapes and sizes is undoubtable! She has been around animals for all of her life, and has an array of experiences caring for them. She is incredibly responsible and knowledgeable with the animals she cares for, as well as with the homes she stays in. As her sister, she has stayed in my home on various occasions and it has always been very clean and tidy when I have returned and my girl is always well cared for and loved as if she was Isobel’s own🐱 Isobel would be an asset to you, and I couldn’t sing her praises enough!
