“My dog Betty has never been left with anyone other than us. Gillian was so marvelous and I was delighted to be greeted by a happy but calm dog. I could instantly tell that Betty had settled well all thanks to Gillian! I didn't feel stressed about how she was coping as Gillian was super calm and friendly. You made a very difficult day so much easier. Thank you so much”

About: As your potential house and dog sitter, I want you to know that I've grown up with dogs my entire life, always having canine companions by my side. This lifelong experience means I instinctively understand dog behaviour and their unique needs. You can rest assured your beloved dog will be in caring, experienced hands, receiving the same love and attention I've always given my own furry friends. I like to start my mornings with a morning walk, usually at least one hour in duration and I like to finish the day with an afternoon/evening walk. The evening walk is usually shorter, 20 to 30 min in length, but of course I’m happy to extend if your pet needs this extra exercise. I am a very trustworthy person and will always treat your pet and home as if they were my own - if not better. I ensure your pet keeps to their routine so they remain happy, secure and loved.

“Finlay really enjoyed his time with Dave. Dave kept me up to date with pictures and messages so I knew how he was getting on with Finlay. Finlay enjoyed himself so much he was not at all impressed when I arrived home after my trip!”

About: I have two very cute cocker spaniels called Fern and Bessie who are 3 and 4. They both love other doggies! I work from home most days of the week so am around to look after your dog most days. We walk three times a day. A short one in the morning, half an hour at lunch and then an hour after work usually in the woods or up a mountain! We live in the centre of Windermere so have access to so many beautiful dog walks I work from home most days of the week (2 days in the office sporadically). I joke that I have a second full time job as a dog mum! I have a small garden for the dogs to do their wees and poos but we mostly take them out for lots of fun walks

“Heidi, was great, communication pre-sitting was ideal. Arrived on time, my dog fern loved her and she was clearly very confident with her. Provided updates and pics over the weekend, and obviously gave fern a load of time and attention, and followed instructions provided. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and to book her again in the future.”

“Mark is awesome! We were in a last minute pickle and needed someone to watch our pup (2 hours notice!!) He was incredibly accommodating and adaptable to our changing plans! His dog Baxter and ours became the closest of buds on their hike, and our pup came home happy and tired, the best combination! Would definitely recommend Mark again”

“We were absolutely delighted with the care our 2 dogs and home received from Libby while we were away last week. Libby was friendly, reliable and easy to deal with. She clearly has a genuine love for animals- she gave our dogs lots of affection, took them for daily walks, and kept us updated with how everything was going. We came home to a clean and tidy house and 2 very happy dogs. I would highly recommend Libby to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring house/pet sitter”
