About: I volunteered for a year in a dog kennel and cattery looking after different breeds and ages. I catered my care depending on their needs, health conditions and temperaments. I’ve grown up with dogs big and small, from Japanese Chins and to an Alsatian. I’ve looked after a young pup of 10 months to wonderful Staffies who’ve lived to 16! I know every dog is different and special. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and am available most weekends. My work schedule on work from home days are flexible around a couple of meetings. I will follow your instructions and requests around your beloved pets. Safety and security is of the utmost importance and I will provide pupdates so you can feel reassured of their happiness and safety.

About: For the past two years, I have lived in two different households with dogs. I cared for a 14-year-old female Husky and currently take care of a 2-year-old male Dalmatian. This experience has given me a broad understanding of different dog ages and genders. Although I wasn't paid by my landlords to take care of their pets, they saw how caring and attentive I am with dogs. As a lifelong dog lover, they trusted me to look after their pets, often leaving them in my care for days at a time. I currently work a full-time remote job from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays. However, I am quite flexible with my breaks and can easily attend to your pet’s needs, whether it’s checking in, playing, feeding, or walking them during boarding or pet care services. For dog walking services, I'm available to pick up your dog after 5:00 PM on weekdays. On weekends, I'm free all day for walks! When walking dogs, safety and trust are my top priorities. I always use sturdy, secure leashes and harnesses to ensure the dogs are safely under control. I stay vigilant, keeping an eye out for potential hazards like traffic, other animals, or unsafe terrain. I follow any specific instructions from the pet owners regarding their dog’s behavior and preferences, ensuring the walks are enjoyable and stress-free. I also carry essential items like water, waste bags, and a first-aid kit to handle any situation that might arise. Building trust with the dogs is crucial; I use positive reinforcement and maintain a calm, confident demeanor to make them feel secure and happy during our walks. This approach not only ensures their safety but also strengthens the bond of trust between us.

About: Hi, we are Katie and Toka! I grew up with dogs - a Boxer when I was little (I used to sleep in her basket with her, apparently) and then a Cocker Spaniel from aged 11. I now have a Springer Spaniel called Toka, who is 4.5 years old. Prior to Toka arriving, I looked after friends' dogs regularly and so have experience with different breeds and personalities! I even ran a Nutrition course for dog owners where they could bring their dogs along! I raised Toka from being a puppy so am familiar with all stages and ages, and have looked after older dogs for friends. My dog likes to do agility, scent work, and tricks, as well as long walks in the forest. We do a big walk (around 1.5 - 2 hours) most days, usually in the forest, or across the Downs. We can also do a couple of smaller walks on the recreation ground or along the beach, if that suits your dog better. I work from home so am home most days at the moment. We would do a big walk, or a couple of smaller ones, and I have a fully fenced in garden for them to hang out in if they want to! Sometimes, and particularly at weekends, dog walking might end up at the pub (which Toka loves!) so they'd be welcome to join for that too. I have a fenced in garden which is pretty big, and my dog is friendly with others that are friendly to her. She is a gentle soul so can be unsure at first (she tends to freeze and let the other dog 'assess' her!) but then when she's comfortable she'll either play, or chill independently.

About: I only put 1 year because I'm honestly unsure of the exact number of years that I have been involved with looking after family pets. I've always loved animals I grew up round many as well. Dog walking will help mme get more exercise so it's a win win situation. I'll always let owners know what route I'll be walking their dogs and take photos to show them how much their dogs enjoyed the walk

About: Over 30 years experience of owning and looking after dogs which we treat as family we lost our two dogs two years ago and any dog we look after will be treated like royalty Both myself and my husband Sean are retired and we can fit pet care around our hobby of travel but we are flexible and can fit our schedule around the owner if required there are two of us so can always work things out Garden completely secure with gates we also live by the beach for great walks we are happy to offer most services including longer stays if required

About: I've been lucky enough in my life to care for my own two special pets, Jazz, my cat who sadly passed in 2022, and Angel, my chihuahua toy-poodle cross, who I've had since she was thirteen weeks old and is now a year and a half. Angel LOVES meeting other doggie friends and can't wait to meet your pup! She'll be with me when caring for your pet and is really friendly. I've always grown up with pets of all kinds, including cats, rabbits, dogs, fish, lizards, snakes and guinea pigs, but I know it's something entirely different to have and love your own pets. They require patience and dedication, and it's something I couldn't imagine my life without. I treat all animals with the same care and respect I do my own, and I love giving Angel the opportunity to meet new friends! I work from home full-time, so I'm always available to help! I can also be available on short notice to help care for your pet I'm really keen to make sure that I follow a pets lead in their home with what their comfortable with. I'm a guest in their usual environment , and I want to make sure that they feel the same care, love and attention that they do when their favourite humans are around! It's helpful for me to have as much detailed as possible about their likes and dislikes and usual routines!

About: Having grown up with dogs and other small animals, this has given me a wide range of skills and experience and i’d be happy to take care of your doggy when you can’t be around . I am punctual and committed to all of my responsibilities and am happy to help where needed. I am currently on summer break, between college and university, so am very free for the next couple months. I’m flexible with times and easy to adjust to your times/ requests. I’m always sticking to the recommendations and your requests, whether it’s to give certain medication or how much to feed your pet. When going out keeping dogs on a lead is the safest, option , only considering taking the dog off lead in a secured, closed, dog park once we are both familiar with each other. If your dog is under my care at my house, i have a big, fully gated garden with no chance of it escaping, as safety is my number 1 priority when looking after your pet .

About: I have taken care and lived with family dogs over the recent years, such as a German shepherd and Cocker Spaniel. I have also looked after friends and colleagues dogs. I work locally to where I am based, which allows me plenty of time both before and after work. As well as popping home in lunch breaks. I live in a 3 bed pet free household, in a crescent away from main roads. We also have a fenced off back garden and large living dinning area.

About: I've looked after all sorts of pets, from axolotls to kittens, fish to bulldogs. As well as my lovely, gentle old girl, a staff/boxer. I'm very reliable. If I say I'll be there I will be there. I am a self-employed programmer so I am completely flexible. I can work any time that is needed so it lets me be very adaptable. I have looked after a multitude of reptiles, fish and two cats in a single home for a two month period full time and, at the other end of the spectrum, 'feed and a fuss' pop-ins for loved pets around the area.

About: We have always had dogs in the family so grew up up taking care of our family pets which continues to do this day looking after any of the family dogs, walking them, dog sitting etc. I always try my best to keep dogs entertained, active and with plenty of company (if they want it ofcourse!) I work Monday - Friday but spend a few of these days working from home. I am always off on the weekends so am always happy to lend a hand then! I have a spacious and cozy flat with space for the dog to feel at home and have a shared garden for the building. We have plenty of great spots nearby for walks!

About: I've looked after dogs for most of my life, we got our first dog when I was 12 and he's been my best friend growing up. I've always looked after my neighbours and friends dogs, by both dog-sitting and just dog walking. I love being around animals and am always happy to give lots of attention and cuddles! I am currently working as a self-employed singer-songwriter/musician so I am always at home throughout the work day and can be around as much as you need me to, to give your doggies the best care! I am very near to the beach so can give doggies long beach walks where they can run and sniff lots! I have space in my car for a crate so can also travel with the doggies to take them on more exciting walks too!

About: Having grown up with dogs always in the family; to me a house is not a home without a dog! We sadly lost our dog, Bonnie just before Christmas aged 17. I would love to welcome your dog into my home. I am qualified in Dog First Aid. I would take the responsibility very seriously and wherever possible stick to your routine so your dog feels as secure as possible. I love the outdoors and walk in all weathers. I work part time from home so am home most of the time. I am lucky enough to have direct access to fields which we own with some lovely walks. I often have doggy visitors as my parents have dogs which we look after when they are away or we borrow them when we need our doggy fix! I work part time from home so I am at home the majority of the time. I have plenty of free time and space to dedicate to looking after and caring for your dog. I have an approx 70ft walled secure garden. In the Summer I spend alot of time in the garden or in our kitchen/diner overlooking the garden which has a stable door so I can let the sunshine in but it is safe for the dogs. I have wooden/tiled floors downstairs and a cozy lounge with a log fire for the winter nights.

About: With five years of hands-on experience caring for an energetic Pomeranian, I’ve honed an instinctive ability to bond quickly and authentically with animals, earning their trust through patience, consistency, and genuine affection. My reputation for reliability and integrity means you can count on me to follow every routine to the letter—from prompt morning walks and midday play sessions to perfectly timed meals and any special care instructions. Self-discipline is my backbone: rain or shine, I arrive on schedule, keep detailed notes, and share friendly photo updates so you always know your companion is happy and secure. I cooked healthy meal for the pets before depend on the pets need. Most of all, I bring enthusiasm and creativity to each visit, turning exercise and enrichment into fun, tail-wagging adventures that keep pets healthy, stimulated, and feeling loved. I offer attentive pet-sitting services for cats, dogs, and even more unusual or exotic companions. Caring for animals is the foundation of my daily routine. I rise at 10 a.m. and begin with either a neighborhood stroll or an energetic play session when I was sitting a dog in previous year ago, because I’ve found a bit of movement sharpens appetites and promotes better rest. I then slot dedicated “care windows” into the rest of the day: a midday potty break coupled with enrichment games, a late-afternoon walk, and a bedtime wind-down complete with brushing, fresh water, and any necessary medication. Every activity gets recorded in a shared app so owners receive instant photos and progress notes. Once a week I schedule an extended grooming session, restock food, and thoroughly sanitize bowls and toys to keep everything spotless. By arranging work, errands, and social plans around these non-negotiable care blocks, I make sure pets always come first—never adapting them to my schedule, but adjusting my life to fit theirs. Whether a pet is staying with me or I’m looking after them in their own home, I build every visit on three pillars: safety, a predictable routine, and clear, real-time communication. When pets board at my place, they stay in a thoroughly pet-proofed setting—secure fences, baby gates, and designated “quiet corners” for seniors or more timid animals. I follow the owner’s feeding, walking, and medication timetable to the minute, then layer in enrichment such as puzzle toys, supervised yard games, or gentle indoor play that matches each animal’s age and energy. Bowls and bedding are washed daily, and I cap the number of guests so every furry visitor gets focused attention. When I care for pets in their own home, I mirror their usual routine—identical walking routes, familiar feeding spots, even the same favorite sofa cushion—so they never feel a break in rhythm. I also manage light household tasks like collecting mail, watering plants, and tidying up to keep the home secure and lived-in. In both scenarios, I document every interaction in a shared app, complete with time-stamped photos and notes on meals, potty breaks, and behavior, ensuring owners are always in the loop. By pairing structure with flexibility and keeping owners looped in every step of the way, I make sure pets stay happy, healthy, and stress-free—no matter which caregiving service they choose.

About: As a rescue pet owner, I have done a lot of research on dog behaviour and continue to do so. For me, staying aware during walks and any triggers that may arise is at the highest importance. Caring for animals brings me great satisfaction and I spend most of my free time volunteering for a dog and cat rescue. I work from home 3 days a week and my fiancé is full time home worker. My dog (Parker) and I take 1-1.5h morning and afternoon walks in our local parks, on the seafront or nearby forests and can be flexible with the needs of your dog. During weekends, Parker and I usually take the car and explore new areas! Parker is allowed in every room, on the sofa/bed and so would your dog! We’ve had family and friends’ dogs over so he is used to sharing his space. I can also provide a bed and/or crate if needed!

About: I specialise in caring for pets with additional needs, such as: separation anxiety, reactivity, disability, or nervous disposition. I am confident administering medication and adhering to personalised instructions. I appreciate that every pet is different, and always treat them as individuals. During a sit, I will provide regular updates and photographs or videos of your pets for added reassurance. During a sit, your pet(s) will be my sole focus. I will only leave them home alone for short periods should I need to run an errand or similar. As a former Estate Manager and Nanny/Govorness, I have many years experience living and working in other people's homes. I am clean, tidy, and respectful of personal space and belongings; do not cook smelly food; and am a lifelong non-smoker. Rest assured that your beloved pets and home will be left in safe and trustworthy hands whilst you enjoy a guilt and worry-free holiday.

About: I’ve had all kinds of pets growing up including 3 cats, 6 rabbits, and a handful of smaller pets. After that my family decided to introduce our golden doodle. We have had her for almost 13 years now. I’ve had lots of experience looking after her and have also helped friends and family look after their furry friends too! I now live alone in a studio flat with no pets, so I am able to help look after yours! I currently work part-time as a bartender on weekends, so Friday and Saturday evenings/overnights I am not available. Early Saturday and Sunday mornings I am unavailable as well as I finish work late the night before. Any weekdays however, I am completely free! Leaving your fur baby in the care of someone else takes a lot of trust, to help achieve this I am more than happy to share any details/photos about the environment provided for them. Before leaving your pet in my care I will always make sure to communicate with you properly and have all the information about your pet to ensure they are in the best care for them as possible.

About: I have looked after animals all my life, have housed multiple cats, I will also be caring with my partner who is also an animal lover, shes a dog lover and I'm a cat lover. I have DBS and previously SC cleared as per my jobs requirements, so you can be rest assured your house and pet will receive the best love and attention. Afternoons and Evenings would be best. Happy to stay in homes when you're away and care for your pet. Weekends are always best but my schedule can be freed up for walks, I can house sit 7 days a week and for as long as you need. I am always attentive to my cat and the needs of other pets, sadly I recently had my cat become quite unwell quite quickly and I rushed him to the vet as I wanted him to have immediate care as keeping him healthy is very important to me.

Katie S.Star Sitter
“Katie is BRILLIANT. She has regularly looked after my dog - Brian for nearly 5 years now. He is always so delighted to see her and her gorgeous doggy, Toka, who I know he plays with, snuggles with, and has great chases through the forest with on their many lovely walks. Katie is extremely responsible, warm and kind and her dog Toka is very gentle and playful. Recently Brian stayed with Katie for ten days while I went abroad. I would usually feel a bit guilty to be away from him for so long, but I was so peaceful and happy knowing that he would be somewhere comfortable, with someone he (and I) loved and trusted, having treats and cuddles and going on better walks than he would have done if he was home with me! In fact he probably enjoyed his holiday at Katie's more than I enjoyed mine! I don't know what else I can say to recommend Katie highly enough, but I'm certain any dog would be lucky to be looked after by her.”

Tasha P.
“Tasha has been know to me for approximately 4 years she's a lovely lady very honest and reliable. “I have known Gill & Sean for several years & they have looked after our dog Ollie. They are extremely trustworthy & reliable and Ollie always returns a happy and contented dog after long walks on the beach & lots of cuddles. Would highly recommend using Gill & Sean.”

Hannah D.
“Hannah and I have owned all kinds of furry friends our whole lives, and it's evident that Hannah adores her animals. We've had cats, to dogs, to tiny furry hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, to those with scales like fish and geckos. There's no doubt in my mind that Hannah would treat any dog she cares for as if it were her own, and would be a testament to Rover.”

Soraya F.
“Our dog is a bit anxious and not easy with new people but Soraya makes him feel good and we are sure he enjoys her company. He always wag his tail when he sees her coming, that’s the best proof for us that he is going to have a good time, having a play, being let out, and fed, ..all of that when we are at work and can not be around”

Kim B.
“I can’t recommend Kim highly enough! She looked after my 2 dogs with so much care and attention, it was the most comfortable I’ve ever felt leaving them. There is plenty of space for the dogs to safely explore, including lovely long walks in her fields. They came back happy, relaxed and probably looking forward to my next holiday as much as I was!
