About: I have grown up with dogs all my life and have my own little sassy staffy now! I’ve worked with animals for now 7+ years, from cattle farming to dog kennels and to now working within the Veterinary industry I can assure you that your pet will be in safe hands with me! I am only available for pop ins and walks on the weekends as I work a busy schedule in the week however I love being with animals and in nature in my spare time so this works perfectly for me and hopefully for you too! I have one dog, a one year old staffy, who doesn’t care for other dogs (he generally will ignore them, balls are far more intersting). He most definitely can join on walks however if you prefer not that is absolutely fine too!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since the day I was born, being raised next to a german shepherd and a standard poodle. I've professionally taken care of dogs of all sizes and temperaments since 2017. And in my personal life, friends, family, and neighbours have trusted me for everything from walks and playtime to feeding, bathing, and overnight care. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and those with medical needs. I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m patient, calm, and treat every dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I plan my days around the needs of the animals in my care, ensuring they have consistent walks, meals, play, and plenty of attention. I’m flexible and can adapt to your pet’s specific schedule to maintain their routine and reduce stress. When caring for pets, I prioritise safety, comfort, and trust. I follow all instructions closely, keep a clean and calm environment, and never leave pets unattended. My husband works from home, which means there is always someone home, and he loves dogs as much as I do. We have a nice-sized garden which has high, secure fencing, and our tall back gate is always locked. I use secure leads/harnesses on walks and give each animal the attention and patience they deserve. I also take time to get to know their likes, dislikes, and triggers to ensure a stress-free experience.

“Jamie has been an absolute star in looking after my mum's cat while she was in hospital. He spent time caring for him, giving him cuddles and sharing photos of each visit. He's friendly, kind and really loves animals. He noticed Panther got sick and helped us at short notice take him to the vet as we were away. I highly recommend Jamie and will definitely use him again for looking after Panther if needed in the future. Thanks Jamie!!!”

“Lauren was immediately accepted by my cat, William, and obviously looked forward to her visits. Because the key I'd had cut for her failed to unlock the door from the outside, she used her initiative to borrow a replacement from a trusted neighbour. She kept to the agreed times and sent me photos to prove that William had been fed.”

About: I’m a devoted lover of animals and will soon qualify as a veterinarian. I live in Petersfield and would love to look after your pet! I’m currently studying so my availability will vary depending on my commitments. Whenever I am available I would be delighted to look after your pet! I fully understand what is involved in caring for any pet, thanks to my many years studying veterinary medicine which has trained me for gold standard care in all animal species. When dog sitting, I will usually spend a long time introducing myself to them, making sure they are comfortable with my presence and allowing them to approach me if they wish. I will walk dogs every 4 hours, unless their individual need require otherwise. For cats, I tend to be much less hands on, again allowing them to come to me if desired.

About: I grew up with cats, dogs, horses, birds, reptiles and guinea pigs. From an early age I learned that animals require our love and respect. These qualities have served me well throughout my life. I always care for pets by asking myself, " if this was my pet, how would I like it to be cared for?" Having cleaned out horse stalls, aviaries, kennels, aquariums and hoofs as a child to more recently attending to our beloved dog Amber through hospice, I have a humble appreciation for animals and the time it takes to build trust. Whether large or small, healthy or feeble, young or old, animals deserve to be treated with dignity, compassion and respect. I am currently available full time without restrictions as I am in between jobs and I require a slower pace and more animals in my life at this time. Therefore, I am using this summer to slow down and provide services through Rover full time. Two things to consider regarding my rates: 1) Rover takes 15% unless the service is recurring so I have to set the prices at a point that is fair to my needs and time which I have tried my best to keep as low as possible. 2) I am not only taking care of your pet but your property as well. I take this very seriously and I have a protocol I follow in order to take precautions and give attention to your home. This includes protecting your privacy and being mindful of ways to enhance security. I will share my protocols with you during our meet and greet but the point is that I am also taking care of your home as well as your pets so please keep this in mind when evaluating my rates and the value I bring. My goal is to provide reassurance so that you both you and your pets can feel less stressed when you are away. I am currently only walking dogs or caring for pets at or near the pet owner's home. I do this with honesty, photo documentation if the owner requests it and respect for privacy. If your pet allows it I do daily tick checks. I am very conscious that overnight stays, check-ins and walking means entering your private property. I take your privacy and security very seriously. Therefore, I never share details of your home, enter your private spaces or bring unauthorised people. I make a note of who is allowed on your property and do everything in my control to protect your home, not just your pets. My wife is also a verified Rover provider. I never assume she is allowed to join me when you book my services. I will discuss this with you and honour your preferences. We do make a great team and if she is allowed to join me for multi day, overnight pet sitting then it means we are more effective in spending quality time caring for your pets. If you choose that only I am to stay overnight then please understand, I am likely to make short visits during the multi-day pet sits to see my wife and maintain a healthy marriage.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember – from cats and guinea pigs to dogs, birds, and even the occasional hedgehog rescue! I currently share my home (and my heart) with two Pharaoh Hounds, a cat, and a rotating cast of muddy paw prints. What sets me apart? I treat your pets like family. I’m calm, confident, and completely unflappable – whether I’m giving meds to a nervous cat, cleaning up after a cheeky pup, or gently caring for senior pets with mobility issues. I've looked after: Dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments (including reactive or anxious ones) Cats, including indoor-only and elderly felines needing extra care Guinea pigs and small animals Birds, including hand-rearing a baby chaffinch (yes, really!) I’m happy to water plants, collect parcels, and send regular updates with photos and stories – so you can fully relax knowing your home and pets are in safe hands. Basically, if it’s got fur, feathers, or a tail... I’ve probably cuddled it. Pet care slots beautifully into my daily routine – it’s one of the best parts of my day! I’m self employed with a flexible schedule, which means I can work around your pet’s needs and stick to their usual routine, whether that’s early breakfast, midday cuddles, or evening visits. I’m used to being up early (thanks to my own Pharaoh Hounds!) and can fit in morning, afternoon, and evening visits throughout the week and weekend. I’m also happy to accommodate last-minute bookings or special routines when needed. Basically, if your pet needs me I’ll be there, tail wags and all. Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so they feel secure and relaxed while you're away. In your home, I keep everything just as you left it clean, calm, and respectful of your space. I follow your instructions to the letter, from feeding times and medication to quirky habits and favourite nap spots. I’ll also keep an eye on your home watering plants, collecting post, and making it look lived in for extra peace of mind. When pets stay with me (or visit), they’ll be part of the family. I have a secure, pet-friendly environment, plenty of soft places to curl up, and two gentle Pharaoh Hounds who are used to sharing their space. I’m fully insured, treat animals with genuine care and affection, and always provide updates so you can feel connected while you’re away.

About: I’m a loving, caring and compassionate person and very trustworthy so your pets will be safe in my home or with me. I love working with dogs or cats or any animals and don’t be worried I have looked after pets before and I will make sure they are safe and looked after in my care. I will take them for long walks as well as I love to walk. And if I’m dog sitting I will make sure they that I let the dogs out in the garden and take them for walks long or short depending on what they need. I don’t mind looking after cats either as I love cats as well as dogs. I also have a car so can pick up your pets and take them to large parks and Drop them back if that’s what is needed. I have worked at a cattery before and few pet shops so I know about medication and fussy eaters. Please give me a message if you would like me to look after your little babies! I’m currently got a job where I work from home and can pick my hours, so if a walk is needed at 10 I can just choose not to work that time and do that then work or vice versa. I will take them out for walks, make sure they are fed and happy. I can put them in their crate if needed and give them the company they want and need.

About: I've had the same dog for 18 years, he is still going fairly strong and so have taken care of a dog through every stage of life. I love dogs and enjoy walking them and giving them attention. I work from home a few days a week and I would love to incorporate some dog care into those days as I really miss having a dog around but can't quite have one full time at the moment!! We own our flat and we have two different indoor spaces your dog would be happy and safe in - I would also happily crate your dog if that is what you are used to.

About: I have trained my puppy completely by myself. Reading books and YouTube videos. I like to spend time with pets to get to know me. Pet sitting works perfectly well around me. I can be available 7 days of the week at any time that is suitable for the client. My puppy is trained to ring a bell for the toilet as we don’t have a garden, I am confident in training a dog to ring bells for the need to go to the toilet.

“Katie was excellent - she was responsive and clear with communication and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. She was generous with her timings and ensured my dog had a lovely time with her. I would absolutely book Katie again any time!”

About: I will be happy to have your pooch joining us on walks or staying with us when you need a time away. I live in Liss, Hampshire with very responsible daughter, energetic toy poodle, quiet fish and 2 cute rabbits (they live outside). We love taking walks locally or drive for a little bit more of countryside exploring. Our house has a specious living area where all action is on during the day, and quiet, fenced garden. We adore pets. My daughter is solely in charge of her rabbits and helps out with taking care of the rest of our 'zoo'. Our dog is a friendly young toy poodle, who likes to play but very understanding to our dog guests when they need their own space. If you think your dog would like to stay or take a walk with us, please, get in touch! Always happy to meet with you first before, so we are sure everyone is comfortable with the company. Also, can offer pick up and drop off if needed. I'm working from home and able to take regular walks during the day over lunch time and in the evenings, and even more over weekends. We keep our dog and all guest dogs downstairs, our garden has lawn area and it is fenced. I do have extra crates if needed.

About: I am an animal lover. I live and breathe animals. Cliché, I know, but it’s true. I much rather spend time with furry friends than human friends. I have experience in looking after dogs of all ages (puppies to senior dogs), and the same with cats (kittens to senior cats). I think what sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine passion for animal welfare. They really help me when feeling low, they get me and I get them. I also have experience looking after bunnies - who knew they were so characterful! I work Monday-Friday 9-5, but work from home Mondays and Fridays so am generally available Thursday nights-Tuesday mornings. I am also take annual leave from my job if longer pet sitting stints were required. I am very flexible. I will ensure to do everything I can ensure to your pet feels as little stress as possible. I own and live in a maisonette flat. It is reasonably sized - and am happy to have all types of pets visit. I am surrounded by open fields, as well as dog fields. I am also happy to pet sit from an owners house if best.

About: I currently walk a couple of dogs whose owners are busy with work and children. I have always lived around animals, and grown up with pets. From a young age I was taught to care for all types of animals from ducks to goats and horses. I’ve had cats as long as I can remember, I currently have 2 family dogs called Remy & Ziggy as well as my cat Roxy. I adore caring for animals, meeting and finding out each ones individual quirks and personalities is my favourite part. I like to think that I can be calm and loving presence for those older dogs who just want some companionship whilst there owners are busy. Also bringing a fun and playful atmosphere to the more adventurous and energetic types. I treat all animals as I would my own, and thrive on their company as much as I hope they do in return. It is important to give your dog a sensory experience and a fun loving atmosphere whenever possible. If you would like a written reference from a previous dog I’ve looked after just ask. I look forward to meeting your little ones. I’m currently working part time, so I wilI have plenty of time to look after your little (or big) ones. Weekends or during the week I have a lot of flexibility. I will follow whatever notes you leave for me with regards to your pet. I know every owner has a different way of doing things, I don’t wish to mess with that. I make sure the pups feel comfortable and safe around me. Often bringing something with them that had a smell of their owner helps Build trust.
